Good location

The rooms were on the top floor with no lift and no warning was given regarding this. Some of us are in good shape and still had to rest mid-way up at least once. No water pressure at all so you had to sit and 'enjoy' the drops that did managed to get all the way to the top. We sent a polite email about this and still no response or acknowledgment.

Not a bad hotel location is good. Nice veiw of the sea

No lifts.i was on the third floor and having lung cancer it was a real struggle to get to my room. There also seemed to be a horrible smell coming from the carpet now and again

Had a lovely view from the balcony.

Where to start with this room TV didn't work room was dusty and dirty behind the bed and on the door frames room next door was smoking so smells smoke knowing that there was a big label saying no smoking beyond this point shower was absolutely terrible no pressure to the shower head at all the bed was a wobbly the room was not worth £180 for two nights wouldn't recommend to anyone else best thing about the room was the view there wasn't any staff about you had to phone them which I wasn't doing why should I have to phone them someone should be in reception at all times........

That the staff was always prepared to help

It wasn't the staffs fault but we had some random man knocking on our door and wouldn't stop. It made me and my partner feel uncomfortable.

Lovely view, but facilities not enough.

Room was clean.

No shower, just a short hose on taps and it was so fiddly to hold and wash. Water pressure very low.

Fab little hotel to rest.

The location is brilliant, right in the middle of everything. Beautiful views from balcony and extremely clean. Check in was easy and we wasnt bothered by anyone at all during our stay. We will be back, Hastings is a gem of a place.

We were in the top floor and water pressure wasnt great, could do with an electric shower. Stairs were a killer after a few bevvies. 🤣 decor abit dated but who cares!

should label that outside of the doors near the stairs to make it easier to know what floor you are

what would have been a good stay was spoiled by an inconsiderate guest making noise

the staff were excellent and we had a sea view

Lovely. such a great location and fair price.

The view was amazing and the location was great. The staff were really friendly and helyful.

What you’d expect for the price.

Great location! A tiny bit noisy as it is right in the centre of town but that is only to be expected. Take your ear plugs and you’ll be fine. Really lovely lady that runs it. We looked for bed bugs as another review had mentioned it, but there was no sign that we could see. If you want somewhere cheap and easy to literally just sleep in, it’s fine.

It’s a bit rough around the edges and very basic. BUT…It’s somewhere to lay your head, not somewhere you’d want to spend a lot of time. We didn’t have enough hot water to wash properly which was a shame. Beds are double not king, and mattresses are soft. It’s super cheap, so what can you expect for £70 a night?
