Very shoddy, cars racing outside and unsavoury drunks and gangs in the car park and hanging around u

Both Kellogg and Alpen were out of date !! The magazines were from 2017/19 !! The lift to the property had been out of use for 3 years 88 stairs to the property , we would not have booked if we had known as I have a heart condition

I wouldn’t recommend if you had mobility issues or very young children, other than that beautiful apartment.

The property was clean and tidy! I’m always worried about things which are breakable as my youngest child is 2. Very spacious apartment with lovely sea views.

We didn’t realise there was 8 flights of stairs to walk up. We ended up leaving our little ones buggy in the car as it was easier than trying to lift both him and the buggy upstairs each time. Lift was broken and seems it’s been like that for a number of years. The seal on the shower is damaged I got out and stood in a huge pool of water. The window to the front bedroom is broken and doesn’t lock.

Nice time

Location was excellent and flat had all you needed for a basic stay. We were warm and it was clean. The weather was dreadful and we were fine being in the flat. I’d stay again but really wish I’d known that the lift never works and it’s six flights up.

86 steps to the property and not mentioned anywhere that this is the case. The lift has clearly been broken for over two years according to reviews. The neighbours can be heard through the walls. Just let people know!

please do not book this apartment until updates, maintenance & cleaning is sorted

the managing agents listened to the issues I had with the apartment and acted professionally. Hopefully the issues will be sorted out before the apartment is rented out again

maintenance, cleanliness and poor quality amenities (bedding, furniture, common areas, windows) I cannot share all the photos that I took showing the problems as Booking.com only lets me share 4 pictures

The seafront location. The decor in the flat. The welcome basket in the kitchen.

The walk up to the fourth floor because the lift does not work.

Hastings is very run down tramps homeless people everywhere one write outside the apartment every night

wasn’t cleaned very well bird mess over the widow cleaning materials left in living room on arrival all sinks plunger broken bath taps loose and when you ran the water the tap in the kitchen also ran

Overall satisfactory but small things could have made our stay much better.

The size of the flat was comfortable for a family of 4. The location was convenient, 10-15 walk from the old town,close to convenience shops and with a nice sea view however it is on the 4th floor and the lift was not working.

There were only bath towels and one hands towel. Only 2 toilet rolls were provided for a 4 day stay, no sponge in the kitchen. unfortunately the curtains were not blinding so the kids woke up early due to the sunlight.

good workout.

Great sea view, good sized, clean apartment. Central location.

Apartment is on the 4th floor, there are 86 steps and the lift was not working. It would have been nice to have been told this. Lot of noise in the area at night/early morning due to central location, could do with blackout blinds or similar.

Fun weekend with family. Lots to do in Hastings.

Location was brilliant. Fantastic views. Clean and comfortable apartment.

Lots of stairs to climb as lift not working but wouldn't put us off staying again.

Superb

Very clean and a good location, lovely decorated, spacious flat. Great sea views from both the lounge and bedroom. Bedding and towels freshly laundered. The beds were Comfortable. The underground car parking which was recommended was very close to the flat and locked at night. I will definitely book the same block of flats again for a return visit. The whole experience from booking to collecting the keys was so effortless.

A lift would have been and added bonus. By the end of our stay we were so much fitter. A couple of little things - one side of double socket in kitchen didn’t work, I waited ages for the kettle to boil, back bedroom a little noisy with the seagull dawn chorus and bin collections. It’s didn’t spoil our stay and I would rebook the property again.

Excellent location with a lovely view.

Excellent location with a lovely view. Right near carpark which was only £8.20 for 24hours. The furniture and beds were comfy - liked the decoration of the front room. Good communication before we checked in - we knew exactly what to do.

Would have scored a bit higher but there were a few things that needed improving: * dirty sponge left in kitchen * bathroom sink and plug dirty - could do with a bit of bleach to unblock * plug socket not working in kitchen * not a large choice of kitchen wear and all mismatched. Could do with a cheap set that matches/different sized cups and glasses from Ikea * Lift not working - 8 flights is a lot!

Good location but poor facilities

Owner was very responsive. Good location.

Ventilation of the bathroom is very poor. Apartment located on the 4th floor with no lift - tricky if you are travelling with heavy suitcases. Light bulb in the sitting room wasn't working. Fan is available, after a few requests

Very good

Great location - close to the old town and good views from lounge and one bedroom. Apartment was ideal for two couples and was clean and tidy. Good parking nearby.

Beds weren't that comfy, which was a shame.

Lovely stay in Hastings

It’s a short walk to the beautiful and vibrant Old Town. Comfortable beds, spotlessly clean. Easy parking at £8 per 24 hours. Great recommendations for places to eat, we loved: The Codfather fish & chips Petit Fi for coffee and amazing cake Maggie’s at the boat for freshly cooked fish baps (we had the black cod and dabs babs; and will dreaming about the taste for ages.) Adventure golf, brilliant fun!

It’s a shame we couldn’t open the windows more as it was very hot but I appreciate that’s probably for safety reasons - a couple of fans would be really appreciated. The stairs - very steep and in need of some maintenance. We were gutted the lift didn’t work! Some basic instructions for the hob would’ve been helpful and we were not sure if the dishwasher worked as things didn’t look clean after a wash; could’ve been user error. I’d still recommend, we had a great time!

Great view

It was a clean, centrally located apartment with parking nearby. Fantastic sea-view.

We just wished the lift worked. Other than that, zero complaints.

Very clean and well decorated, Left after one night as way too uncomfortable in sitting room.

Seating in sitting room awful - should be replaced immediately - no support anywhere and both arm ends of sofa about to fall off. One arm kept in place by wedging the door against it - really not acceptable for £125 a night!!

Excellent relaxing stay

The view was great, enough space and facilities, close to shops and front. The old town only a short walk away

The underpasses nearby were quite intimidating with homeless, alcoholics and drug people

Very enjoyable and comfortable.

Central location with fabulous sea view. Really comfortable flat. Plenty of hot water, two lovely bedrooms , a bath, we liked that! It was quiet, no rowdy neighbours in the other flats.

The only downside was the fact there was a non-functioning lift, and there are eight flights of stairs up to the property. I would not recommend this for a family with small children, because of the climb. To be fair there was no lift mentioned on booking.
