Great location in centre of town.
Lack of parking at hotel.

Food and staff were spot on.
Room was a bit on the small side to what was expected.

Extrem kleines Doppelbett

Location was central and rooms were spacious and clean
Appreciate it is a desired location however felt still little on the pricey side e.g. would be nice to include breakfast at that rate

Lovely hotel right on the Main Street in Pitlochry. Menu looked good for dinner but had alternative booking. Lovely breakfast. Comfortable room with lovely bathroom walk in shower

Location, central and perfect to navigate around. Minutes walk from train station and car parks.
Hotel room modern and bathroom had a double shower unit / power shower and luxury soaps, which was a real treat. Bed was super comfy.
Breakfast (full Scottish breakfast) was fabulous, best tattie scones I've ever tasted !
We ate dinner in the bar restaurant and service was quick and friendly staff. Food was good. Pricey however everything in Pitlochry seems expensive !
Loved the white pudding from the Mckays chippie next door.
Found the location of reception rather strange and didn't like the access door set up from the rooms back in to the reception area using our room card. It sometimes didn't work and we felt a bit trapped. Even if a glass paned door can be installed so reception can see guests ? We found ourselves knocking on door to get out.

The location is perfect for all pitlochery has to offer. Quiet when U need it and great company when U need that. Can't fault this place
If I could make a small change,it would be the curtain rail position. We were in room 116 and curtains wouldn't close all the light out. Small change. Sorry. Please don't take it personally.

In the centre of town with a great bar and restaurant on site. All 4 rooms for our family group were large and comfortable. Parking easy out back or in nearby streets. Friendly and helpful staff.

Cooked breakfast excellent. Staff attentive.
Annex was not great for price, on other side of road to hotel. No visible sockets for hairdryer, had to move furniture to find one! Wardrobe too close to bed to fully open. Same price as hotel but without any amenities. Having to go over to hotel to get breakfast would be fine at half the price but not at £130.90 per night. This was more like a tired old B&B but with no landlord.

Paid extra for superior room was located at rear of hotel overlooking the bins and car park. View not so good but main problem was noise didn’t sleep well because of this. Stayed at mackays previosly has a lovely room x
Noise from bins and bottles being emptied need more soundproofing and light from I’ll fitting curtains need blackout blinds

The setting, the staff and the meal was great. Harvey our dog loved his welcome pack.🐾🐶
Not enough parking. We parked on a side street and worried we might get a ticket. However, we did not but it would have been nice to receive a badge for the car which allows us to park when the hotel car park is full.

The bar staff were very helpful and friendly. They were able to speak about the various whiskeys and make recommendations. Enjoyed lunch in the hotel.
I don’t think there is anything you can do about it but the steps up to the bedrooms and bathroom felt dangerous steep and narrow. Having the bathroom upstairs was a problem for my friend as he has a artificial leg.

breakfast was good
My friends were booked in with us and they had to leave the hotel and find other accommodation as the room they were given was an attic in a different building from the hotel so I would like my money back on the room

Would recommend the hotel

Location was great....room clean and rather small but OK. Comfy bed and pillows.
Breakfast sausage wasn't nice and egg not cooked properly. Have to say prices at bar for a pint and a vodka and mixer was £14.25...totally ridiculous!!!

We stayed one night, dinner, bed and breakfast. Food was excellent, especially the porridge with honey. Entertainment was good. Great location. Directly on the main street.
Can't think of anything.
