A beautiful hotel in a tranquil location . The twin rooms were more like apartments and very clean and comfortable .
The restaurant was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful . It was incredibly good value for money and a highlight of our eight stay trip to Scotland . I couldn't recommend it more highly .

The sitting rooms in front of fire, stairwell and restaurant was all lovely.
The bedroom and bathroom bed and linen old room was cold fan in bathroom would not shut down however o informed the maintenance person and he was going to reset timer. Looked like furniture had been purchased at a deceased estate all very old in the bedroom. Also in bar area a staff member being coached through employment contract. We had to move. This should be done away from hotel guests.

Warm welcome by the staff at reception and later at the bar/restaurant, atmosphere, coziness. Big room and modern bathroom . January is very quiet in this part of Scotland in general so the place was naturally not busy. Nice wood fire burning in the living room at all times. Games ( Scrabble etc) to choose from and spend the evening in front of the fire. Nice bar and second living room. Cuisine is good as well as the wines.
I had booked rooms with dinner included ( drinks not included) .
We ate dinner twice and were presented with the same menu on both evenings. 3 starters 3 main courses 3 desserts ( cheese selection costs extra ) . The food, however, was delicious.

Lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings and close to town altho steep walking back to the hotel .
Beautiful lobby , bar and dining area .. impressive staircase .
Our room was room no 1 … in the original hotel . the bed was very uncomfortable in our room , pillow terrible and need replacing with new ones … and windows didn’t open and a blue light shone into our room all night .. it was part of outdoor illumination of the hotel .. as in a lot of hotels the lobby and common areas are very nice but the room lets the property down

Staff were excellent, very welcoming and friendly (especially to our little cocker spaniel) . Great location and a lovely place to visit. Visited with my Dad for a family trip. We were well accommodated having a dog with us - having places pre-set for dinner by the bar. Whiskey selection wasn’t bad at all either!
Food came out a little quick, but was delicious when it arrived. Cheeseboard was great too!

My wife and I travelled with 2 dogs who were individually welcomed and made a fuss of. At Dinner we were able to eat in the bar area where the dogs could join us.
Service was excellent

Friendly reception staff, nice entrance to hotel with allocated parking .
Stayed in the Coach House for 2 nights and couldn’t get a proper signal on the TV. As it was over the weekend it never got fixed which wasn’t ideal. Evening meal was expensive so we ate at local restaurants.
Good selection at breakfast just a shame the cooked food was laid out under hot plates which didn’t keep it warm.

Facilities were excellent, breakfast was good. Room in the outside stable area was nice.
Considered staying an extra night but when we checked other available hotels in the area the Pine Trees was far more expensive for what we got, especially as our rooms were not in the main hotel.

This property is so cute. Our room was super modern (which we were not expecting) and big. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re staying in Pitlochry. We even forgot something and the staff were helpful in ensuring it was returned to us.
The location - for the town of Pitlochry the location was lovely, we just felt that we could have done lunch in this town rather than staying the night. Not at all a drawback of the hotel though, it was really beautiful.

The evening meal was excellent, varied menu. The staff were so helpful and the service was impeccable.
Our room was a large spacious room with sitting area, extra single bedroom, dressing area and large bathroom.
Nothing could have improved our stay, we wish we had stayed longer.

I can’t recommend Pine Trees enough! If you’re travelling with your dog then this is the place for you. The staff were exceptional, so friendly and they honestly couldn’t do enough and when they say ‘Dog Friendly’ they absolutely mean it. My working cocker spaniel was treated like a Princess, so much so she didn’t want to come home! The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and perfect for dogs walks. The roaring log fire in the hallway is stunning and just what you need after a long day of walking. Dinner was fantastic and my dog got to sit in the bar area with me whilst I ate, she had her very own sofa and even got some sausages and lots of belly rubs from the staff. Breakfast was also perfect and again my dog could sit with me in the bar area whilst I ate. We can’t wait to return and I would recommend to all friends and family.
Not a thing!

The staff members were superb, especially the manager, he had great communication skills and felt like you were his focus. The food was excellent and I would happily recommend this hotel to others.

An attractive old property set in lovely gardens. There were inviting public spaces with an intimate feel, enhanced by real fires. Stunning stained glass windows on the elegant staircase. Standard bedrooms were generous in size, comfortable and had everything you needed. Generous sized shower cubicle and power shower. All areas of the building were generously heated.
There were no issues with any part of this property.
