If the showers worked properly the place would be great and we would return.

Location. Sea view. Breakfast was great and well managed by staff.

Showers were unpredictable in flow and temperature - all three days.

Great location close to seafront. Parking was easy. Guesthouse was very clean. Staff very friendly. Good breakfast. Lift available.

This guesthouse is very difficult to be negative about. Some shower gel would have been nice.

Really pleasant!!!!

The staff were lovely and so accommodating!!!!

Toilet didn't fill properly which meant it didn't have a strong flush. Only a small wardrobe which given the size of the room is understandable. So a rail on the wall or hooks on the doors would be useful for long items of clothing.

Great place, would return if I came back to Douglas.

Great view from the window. Ample tea and coffee in the room, with biscuits and milk included. Wifi was fast. Beds comfortable.

The plug sockets were all in the skirting boards, but right at the bottom, meaning any plugs that had the wire at the bottom, couldn't be plugged in. So basically any phone or laptop charger. There was a multi-socket for the kettle, but it wasn't close enough to the beds, especially the one near the window. This is a pretty simple fix as the skirting boards are tall enough to move the sockets up a bit.

Very comfortable bed, had a great sleep. Staff went out of there way to help, advise on everything from transport to places to visit.

Exactly what I needed

It's a classic old style hotel with winding stairways and a warren of rooms. The staff were welcoming and friendly and I had no issues throughout my stay.

We had a lovely stay at Edelweiss and would book to stay there again.

The location was good, just off the seafront. The bedroom had beautiful sea views with comfy beds. The breakfast was excellent.

Good value for money and well located for the prom.

Could not fault the breakfast. Excellent choice on offer. Dining room cosy, clean and staff attention excellent (thank you Luke ) Room although small was comfortable and beds spot on. Room serviced everyday. Everything worked in the room and the shower room was clean with fluffy towels .

Given the position of the twin beds,the flat screen tv could have done with being on a swivel ! The lift is not for the faint hearted 🫣

Staying here met my needs ie comfortable bed, good food, free parking. It's a bit out of Douglas cen

Excellent breakfast and service. Plenty of space but I had the triple room and quiet as it was at the back. Great shower.

People with joint problems may not like the stairs and may not like the lift alternative. I didn't watch TV much but there was a problem with the controller that I couldn't be bothered to report. Power sockets could be more and better placed.

A fabulous short break

Had a wonderful stay here , staff were very welcoming, friendly,approachable and helpful Right next to the electric railway, it's actually stop 7 on the esplanade not stop 8 but only a few minutes away either way , it's about 20 min walk to the town centre so very central.

Friendly and efficient, we had a family, beds very comfortable

the room was clean with tea and coffee making facility. everything one would need including television. the breakfast was excellent. location good, a short walk into the main shopping area. near to tram stop also. we would definitely stay here again.
