Lovely hospitality

Breakfast is like going to a restaurant; lovely room, wait staff and food cooked to order. Location was great, in the mid point of the foreshore virtually.

My overall experience at the Devonian was exceptional.

During my recent stay at the Devonian, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional breakfast options offered as part of their accommodation package. The property not only provided a diverse and delectable selection of breakfast choices but also maintained a high standard of cleanliness and regular room servicing. Although the rooms were on the smaller side, they proved to be an ideal choice for solo travellers, couples, and business travellers alike.

It was beautifully decorated & spotlessly clean, we had a large room with a sea view, the bed was so comfortable, the shower was hot & the room always warm. The breakfasts were large portions although lighter options also available & really tasty. The owners & staff were all so friendly & couldn't be more helpful from the moment we arrived until we left we always felt welcome. The location was good about 100 yards to the beach, it was only a 10 minute stroll to town & about 20 minutes walk to the Electric train & the bus stops were very close . Thoroughly recommend this hotel & would definitely stay here again .

location , friendly kitchen staff, good breakfast. small fridge in the room. good Internet and refund to leave!🤔

small room. some broken furniture and not enough ( ie: one chair for two people) small single bed feeling uncomfortable and unsafe to sleep on, owner’s attitude, dangerous steep stairs and no lift and cold room as they can not afford gas bills!

A very comfortable base for my first, short visit to the Isle of Man.

I was on a short birdwatching visit to the island so spent little time at the hotel and did not have breakfast there. But the room was fine for my needs, warm, clean, and comfortable.

Cold room put a dampener on our stay

Proximity to promenade and town centre

Freezing cold room due to radiator not working. Moved to another room to be told that the heating is only on at specific times. The room was freezing in the morning and no heating until 5.30 pm. We resorted to walking around and browsing in shops to stay warm. We did get offered a free breakfast for the room change but it didn't make up for the freezing temperatures in the rooms. The pressure in the shower was awful and we didn't feel like we could have a proper shower.

A must first stop in Douglas!

Everything! The location was excellent ( just a minute stroll from the bus that serves the airport), breakfast exceptional ( kept me going all day) and host amazingly friendly :)

Wonderful, peaceful, perfect for my stay.

Great early check in from an early morning flight. Helpful and friendly, great tips and advice for where to go when and how to get there best. Wonderful breakfast. Great location, quiet and peaceful. Food options just a few doors down.

Superb

Gill and Kevin are wonderful hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beds were so comfortable and we had a view of the sea from our room which was a bonus. The breakfast menu is so extensive it was a challenge each day to decide what to have and each meal was superb. We were provided with really useful information about the local area, including nearby restaurants (we went to the Indian a few doors down and had a lovely meal) Thank you Gill, Kevin and your staff for a lovely stay

All over wonderful first stay on the IOM,

Breakfast was absolutely spot on, cereals, fruit, yoghurts, juices thena full breakfast or one of several choices after and cooked to perfection, absolutley no reservations.

I was on the top floor so several flights of stairs to get up, may be an issue for the not so nimble but then I guess they could be on a lower floor.

If we return to the Isle of Man we'd definitely stay here again.

Clean room and bathroom, excellent range of breakfast options (have to admit we chose the Devonian after reading the breakfast reviews and were not disappointed!). Convenient location. Friendly staff. We were able to leave our cases at the hotel on the final day before leaving on the late afternoon ferry.

Mattress a little hard for one of us. It took us time to find the wifi code notice as it was tucked out of sight underneath the No Smoking sign.
