Good spacious Villa with great location and outlook

The location and seclusion is lovely. The Villa is spacious and fairly well equipped. The welcome pack was also well received.

When you rent a villa with a pool (even though the weather only would have permitted use on 2 days) - you do expect the pool to be usable. Not only was the pool not cleaned it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for some weeks. The oven was also old and I couldn’t get it to work Properly.

fantastic 10 days at Villa Mar and would 100% stay again.

the villa has everything you need. Comfy main bed, strong shower, air con works well, the pool is lovely just the perfect temp of you put the cover on at night or if you go out for the day. needs a little TLC along the water line but it doesn’t effect the usage. great location. 15 min walk to marina, 10 mins once we found the cut through over the gravel. 25 mins to playa dorado which is a beautiful beach only €12 for 2 sun beds and an umbrella for the day. walkable to a supermarket that has everything you need and more. Guja at Dream homes is very responsive and friendly.

the pools needs a little bit of TLC but by no means is a problem. The utility room smells very strongly of drains but we just kept the door shut so it didn’t effect our stay. it’s a problem in hot countries so we don’t blame the villa.

you could find better for your money.

location was ideal, peaceful & quiet, 10 minute walk to Rubicon Marina, 20 minute into Playa Blanca restaurants bars and shops.

It’s very tired, needs some money spent on it, especially kitchen and patio furniture.

Perfect for privacy 10 min walk to marina for bars etc Best sangria at marina rubicon at the sports bar (who would have thought)

Just a couple of very small problems the front door was quite stiff to get in with the art of the door code made it tricky but we did it eventually & to have a small net for the pool when the pool man doesn’t come would really help especially when it’s been windy.

perfect location good choice of eateries, not so English focused as other resorts

location perfect, 5 mins walk from the marina which has a promenade to playa blanca about 20 mins away. felt very safe and everything on hand .we always rent a car and the roads and traffic is never an issue. every type of restaurant is on hand slightly cheaper at playa blanca than the marina, but as i say its an easy stroll there and back and with the villa comes a sea view ( best to book a restaurant if eating after 7pm).the villa is in a quiet area well lit and not overlooked even has a view to the sea. we had a couple of small issues on arrival but one phone call and it was all sorted even at 1am brill service

villa clean and tidy but getting dated, the aircon is only in the dining area and the main bedroom and limited to 6 hours a day !!! extra time available at 1 euro an hour ,2 other rooms only have fans kitchen fully equipped pool small but fine but be wary its all the same depth of 1.5 meters i am 5ft5 and could not touch the floor without my nose going under ...watch your kids

spacious house.

more than enough space. good equipped kitchen. very quiet neighborhood, 10 min walk from supermarket and marina.

all is working but a bit old especially the external furniture would benefit from a little refresh. still excellent value for money. we were missing some blankets, but this was quickly resolved with a quick phone call.

Had the pool been clean we would have overlooked some other issues - generally not happy.

location close to the marina was good but lots of building works going on hence rating low.

Swimming pool on arrival was dirty, debris had not been cleaned off the bottom of the pool, green algea between water line and top edging of pool. Patio area dirty, patio furniture very dirty. water slightly cloudy. We complained to the agent and the pool cleaner turned up, put some chemical in the pool and hosed off some of the furniture leaving the debris in the pool and still didn't even sweep the patio. No record of cleaning or temperatures were left in the pouch provided by the agent on the wall. We didn't swim in the pool as we didn't 'trust' the water. Pool cleaner came back on the evening before we left and did very little so expect the next people will also complain. Inside the house was generally clean, although we had to buy some disinfectant for the drain gully in the utility room as it smelled and we were visited by 8 cockroaches (no we didn't leave food out and appreciate that they are not uncommon in hot climates, having said that I have been to Lanzarote on nine previous occasions and only seen two).

Peaceful and relaxing place to spend time in Playa Blanca.

Location is good, within walking distance to the marina, The villa is not overlooked has lots of space and has a distant sea view. Plus plenty of parking space Guja the booking agent was very helpful.

This was the second time that we have stayed at Casa Mar our first visit was pre Covid and we could not fault the villa. On our return in November 22 it was apparent that the villa and pool is in need of some care and attention, nothing major or costly. spending a little time and money, and bring it back to the standard that we experienced on our previous trip.

Great location.

Excellent location. Garden was very private.

Furniture very dated. Villa could accommodate six people but glassware and cutlery didn’t have six of anything the same. Not adequately cleaned inside or outside of the villa.

Pleasant three bedroom/two bathroom villa. Not overlooked by other properties.

Room layout was good and it was convenient to have two bathrooms. plenty of room for sun beds outside.

Perhaps a little further away from the seafront and the centre of Playa Blanca than we imagined. Could have done with a water jug and maybe some extra mugs and cutlery for when the dishwasher was full. probably wouldn’t have been enough if fully occupied.

Great location

Location and peace and quiet

Needed redecorating and it felt somewhat “neglected”. Very few amenities when it came to glasses and utensils etc. Would only take a smell amount of love and attention and it would be great.

Good location, shame about the condition, will never return.

Collected the key from the keybox, very convenient.

I wrote last year on my last visit that the furniture was tired, it has not been changed or updated, even though you had replied that the owner was aware, very disappointed, the sofas were still sticky and very dirty, we hardly used them. We were unable to access the Internet for the week that we were there.

Perfect for a week

Quit location and in walking distance to the Marina with plenty of restaurants. Very pleasant to have 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms, makes a relaxed stay, kitchen well equipped, and thanks for the welcome basket !
