Absolutely everything. It was like a home away from home. Everything was thought of right down to the earplugs for partners who snore 😂
There was nothing not to like.

We were cycling through Wales and thus we visited quite a few B&B's and hotels during this trip. This B&B was the one we liked the most. A B&B in our opinion, has to have a much more personal touch and atmosphere than a hotel. And Tony and Sandra most certainly create that.
They have put a lot of thought in organizing their B&B in such a way that you can find your way on your own, so basically no contact with the hosts is needed. Any question you would have... the answer is on cards or documentation. Which creates a sense of comfort and ease, but could also lead to an impersonal feeling. But it doesn't. It actually leaves room for the more personal chats and conversations. Room for the hosts to help you with other things than the basics. And that's exactly what they focus on.
Our type of B&B for sure.

Light and airy room, very comfortable bed. Furniture and facilities were very nice and up together.
Location was excellent. My room overlooked the park.
Breakfast was delicious. Home made yogurt, fluffy croissant, lovely cooked breakfast made with good quality ingredients. Hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Nothing.

We didn't stay the night to find out about breakfast! Could notface sleeping there.
Dark dreary corridors opened up to a dark dreary room. Bathroom floor was flooded. No bathroom shelf, only exposed rawl plugs. Tiny sink. Internet password was scribbled on a torn off scrap of paper. Miniscule television. Outside entrance covered in cigarette ends!! Not a welcome sight. We did not expect the Hilton, but oh my goodness!!

I recently booked Bronwye for a one-night stay. The booking process was really simple and I got my confirmation straight away. I received clear instructions from the owners on how to find the property and about the free parking. I managed to find the location with ease and the check-in process was a breeze. My room was really well appointed and it had all the amenities I could expect. Included WiFi was fast, plenty of refreshments and biscuits were provided and my room was nice and clean. It was a lot better than I expected and I was pleasantly surprised. Sandra and Tony were excellent hosts and I got some tips from both of them for my trip. I had a great start the following morning with a freshly prepared full English breakfast that was included with my booking.
Overall I had a really comfortable stay and would recommend Bronwye to anyone looking for a comfortable and reasonable stay in Builth Wells.

Our hosts, Sandra and Tony were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Our room was smaller than we are used to but very clean and well appointed, it had everything we needed for our short stay. We had taken the last room available for our travel dates. Covid precautions were being exercised but were certainly not onerous. Breakfast was a true treat and set us up for each days exploration. Tony was able to advise us on local places worth visiting whilst Sandra was able to recommend a very nice nearby restaurant for our evening meal. On-site car parking was also a great bonus.
No dislikes.
