The location is great! It was clean. Relatively little noise issues/complaints.
There are no staff available to assist, only cleaners. If you arrive early there is no secure place to hold your belongings until your room is available.
4.3
Great location. Clean and modern facilities. Excellent views from balcony
You need to make sure you read the email about door codes as I initially I couldn't find these details and without them you can't get in

Location, location, location!! Great location to be at!!! Right in the heart of it all!! There was a festival when I was there in the streets of the city, and there was some activity noise, but just bring your earplugs!!'

Really comfortable, clean and nice communal area with appliances
There’s a bar above (or near) which plays loud karaoke very late! It was challenging getting to sleep because of it and I wish I had known this before booking. Hopefully it’s just a weekend occurrence (we only stayed Friday night).

Great location, nice common area.
Rooms are extremely small, the extra bed for our third person wasn’t made. No front desk service (no help getting a taxi). There are a billion pillows on the bed and the room is so small that there is no place to put them when you want to get into the bed. No room for luggage in the room. No place to store luggage at the hotel. We had to take a taxi to the bus station to store our luggage, then walk back to town. There are other, better and more normal places to stay in Reykjavik. This one is a hard pass. Also $$$$$$$$$$

The hotel is situated on Rainbow street. We were there mid week and were not disturbed by noise from the street mentioned in other reviews.

A great location right in the middle of downtown Reykjavík (bars, restaurants, shops). The bed was very comfortable and the communal facilities (kitchen, lounge and laundry) were superb. Very convenient base for touring in and around the city.
Nothing

Apartment was really nice and clean.
It supposed to be bathtub - that’s why i choose this apartment, bathtub was my priority and after i made booking i got information it will be just shower because they changed it. Also when i got this information i can’t cancel the booking because u will lose my money so this was big minus for me because it’s was saying this bathtub will be there and it wasn’t.

Fabulous location in town. We booked at the last minute & were upgraded to the penthouse! It was lovely!
We found overnight street parking, so it wasn't an issue, but parking might not be as easy if you stay here.

The facilities were great, it was very clean and felt like home. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's very central.
The whole experience was perfect, only downfall was the noise from one of the bars until around 5am in the morning, I advise ear plugs.

Absolutely Fantastic, was skeptical about not staying with a hotel, but it’s in the real heart of reykjavik, breakfast was simple to get even at 6am. The rooms were very modern and clean. Room was cleaned at request. This is honestly the best value for money you can get in Reykjavik
Nothing, it was amazing! I plan on staying here again for my next trip!

It was spacious, clean and comfortable with tea and coffee facilities a fridge, microwave and toaster in the room. Cereal for breakfast available which was very handy for our early morning adventures.
A little street noise and the keypads for the doors a little tricky to use but we soon got used to that.

comfy room and beds. obviously it’s right in the middle of everything by the rainbow road. great location, although parking is very expensive there. I recommend leaving the car a little outside of the area in parking zones 3 or 4 which are way cheaper . the common area was nicely done as well.
first off, it’s on the 2nd floor, so quite some stairs to climb with our suitcases. no elevator. the bathroom is more than tiny with no window or ventilation. out shower was dirty, hopefully not something that happens all the time. since it’s in the middle of the busiest street with clubs and bars, if you are looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place. we stayed 3 nights, one of them on a Saturday. the first 2 nights were ok, although noisy. Saturday was something else. there is a karaoke bar below, and boy, they sang! The highlight was someone walking into our room (which is secured by a supposedly personal code) at 2.45am! we got an excuse and that’s it. I would have expected a little more effort. especially since our night was over by then. could have all been a very unlucky stay, but well… we were glad it was our last. the first 2 nights however have been comfy. it’s a cute place

we really enjoyed the location and how clean it was. anything you might need can be found in the kitchen, we even managed to make some coffee! the bed is super comfy as well.
very very tiny room.. description stated 14m2 but it was maximum 10. we couldn't have our suitcase inside or even walk 2 people at the same time. bathroom had a weird smell and the walls are super thin, we could hear everything our neighbours were talking about. but to be honest these things aren't as important

lovely location airy clean and private.
just found some hairs on the sofa.

clean and in a great location

The location is the best you can find in Reykjavik city center. I was staying in Reykjavik for a concert in Harpa and it took me less than 10 minutes to walk there.
I really liked the self check in. The only thing I needed was a code to open all the doors that I got sent in email before I arrived and that’s it. So easy and quick.
The room was clean and tidy and the bed comfortable.
There was a large shared kitchen with everything you could possibly need for cooking or just making breakfast and free coffee, tea and cereal.
The staff was super nice and helpful.
I will definitely stay there again

amazing location

Comfortable bed.
Big windows/bright room.
Excellent location, loud on weekends tough witch is expected due to the location.
Advertised as apartments and rooms when it's clearly a hostel. Room was very small and only place for tv was above the entrance door, not comfortable to watch at all.
Our room door had no sound isolation, felt like we had no privacy. Could hear everything people where saying in common areas and they could hear everything we where talking about in our room.
There was no heating in the room, was cold when we arrived but there was provided an old oilfilled electric oven with broken wheels and melted plastic on top and was suposed to be plugged in an extension socket. Not safe and far from Icelandic standards!
Room and bathroom was porly renovated. Obviously not made by professional carpenters. Feels like a typical place where "greed" goes over quality.
4.3
Super clean. Comfy beds. Central location and great facilities for cooking/laundry etc.
A bit of WD40 on the door hinges would be nice. And don't forget your earplugs, lots of noisy bars around.
4.3
Great location in the centre of Reykjavik. Good communal space with some basic cooking facilities (helpful for saving some pennies in Iceland!). Convenient to access with keyless entry and a nice terrace outside.
The room we had faced onto the main street - whilst it was a nice room on the whole, I would advise bringing earplugs if you are planning on staying on a Friday or Saturday as the bass from the nearby venues is very loud and continues until the early morning.
4.3
Staff were polite
I don’t think it is suitable for family. It is on very busy street. Family couldn’t sleep due to loud music until 4 am. When we complained we were provided with ear buds. Even the size of the room is not suitable for a family. It is basically a room for two people converted by removing some furniture to make space for a bunk bed. Toilet and shower were too small. Shower sink was blocked. Their website mentions free breakfast but except dry cornflakes, granola there was nothing in bkft.

gorgeous
3 floors up but not a real problem

Super location and nice shared kitchen area.
Sooooo soooo hot and no windows open. Maybe provide a fan?!
