Very clean, friendly, good location, small (perhaps extension lead if you wish to use laptops etc)

Host was excellent, cleanliness was excellent, bed was comfy

Only thing was access to power points for laptop and phone (it worked but could have been slightly better), otherwise great (small but good location)

Very easy and convenient in the centre of Lausanne. The studio property was very nice, well maintained and excellent wifi.

handy spot in old Lausanne.

location great: 20 minutes max to the station. owner promptly dealt with small shower problem. well done!

although the list of facilities included tea and coffee makers, there was no tea or coffee. would be nice to be able to make a drink on arrival.

Excellent stay overall.

Excellent location in central Lausanne, easy access from the metro. Very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped apartment, perfect for two people but we managed with a family of four (comfortable sofa bed for the kids).

The apartment could be a bit noisy, especially at night (a lot of street noise).

Close to tram station and attractions

1. Insufficient lighting - the studio is dark even all lighting is on. 2. The studio is on mezzanine floor and there is no elevator between ground and mezzanine level. I had to move my luggage up and down. 3. The headroom is very short. I can touch the ceiling standing on floor.

Very nice and though we had a problem by way of loss of a bag on the train, the owner and his staff went out of the way

Superb location - just 5 minutes away from the Train Station by City Metro. Very polite & friendly staff and owners. Very nicely designed place with adequate space for 3 adults and overall high quality interiors.

Room is bit smaller when you pull out Sofa cum bed...lighting is bit dim, for better functionality requires a few more lights.

Location

You have to take rather steep narrow stairs to get to the elevator. Not a problem at all for us, just something to keep in mind. On the other hand, if you can not handle stairs and inclines you should not visit Lausanne 😀

Superb

A very clean and spacious studio in the center of Lausanne, right next to Ripponne station. Easy to get to, close to many restaurants and coffee places. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, we could even store our suitcases with them after checkout. Really recommended. The only minor inconvenience is the staircase leading up to the elevator but this was honestly told to us in advance and we got along just fine with leaving the baby stroller neatly folded at the bottom of the stairs.

This is a perfect place to stay in the heart of Lausanne

First of all it was IIda who created the first positive impression as we arrived. She was welcoming and very warm. she allowed us to check in early. She ensured that our stay was flawless. WiFi was down but she ensured that WiFi person comes and corrects it. She herself was able to fix it. She was very flexible and a truly hospitable person. The location was outstanding and very close to Ripon Metro station and all attractions in the Luassane town. The room was very spacious fitted with all required amenities. We will surely stay with IIda on our next visit.

Wonderful stay in Lausanne

The space was really nice for a family of 3 adults and 1 toddler. It is cosy and the kitchen is well equipped that allowed us to cook a few meals during our stay! Location is central that allowed us to shop on the streets below and is just 3 min walk to the train station and the Sat market! The host was very friendly and helpful and extremely responsive to our queries before and during the stay. Overall we enjoyed our stay Thank you very much!

The steep staircases to level 4 were little scary for the old folk and the young toddler, and of course our suitcases. Thank god for the small lift after a long flight of stairs from level 1. But we cant complain as it is the infrastructure of the building. Having an additional fan would be really nice for a group of 4 people during summer.

It’s a nice place and neighborhood, 28 steps in front door is the only problem.

Very central and well-maintained apartment

Very central location, just steps from the main tourist square and musuems. The road in front is only accessible to cars part of the day, but there is a (not cheap, but good) car park 2 minutes walk away. Arrival was well arranged, with clear and accurate instructions. Some reviews have mentioned the stairs to reach the elevator, but they are only likely to be an issue for people with mobility constraints. For most people they would just be a minor inconvenience. The apartments are well laid out and everything functioned properly. Overall it was a good stay.

The ventilation in the bathroom didn't function properly, so needs a service. As others have noted, the street outside is very busy, and if you leave the windows open you'll hear the 5am trash pickup, early deliveries, and occasional late night drunks. But things like that were only occasional, and a trade-off for the location, so unless you're a very light sleeper shouldn't be too much of a concern.

Very nice, but not for everyone

The apartment is in the centre, very clean and comfortable. Sightseeing by foot is possible. Code key very convenient and good information from the management about the parking nearby.

Because the apartment is on the centre, it is not for the light sleepers as the square near the apartment is very popular with partying youth till early morning hours. Also, there were quite a few drug dealers and overall not very pleasant at night. Tea and coffee capsules would have been a nice gesture.

Great proximity to shopping and quaint streets. farmers market right outside our door on one of the days.

noisy when the windows where open, but when the windows were shut it was fine. Tall people might find the bathroom a bit tight.
