really enjoyed Carolyn's company and breakfast

Good location for the event we were attending, very quiet rural spot but only a few minutes from town. Comfortable bed, no trouble getting to sleep. A good choice of options for breakfast on offer.
Bathroom is shared, not ensuite/private, but we knew that beforehand.

Good communication. Very welcoming. Very responsive to blocked bath drain. Beautifully clean and comfortable everywhere. Good value for money. Would stay there again if in the area.

The house is a lovely good sized family house - and therefore has a comfortably homely feel. It is not hotel quality (and not meant to be) and was totally what I was looking for. I was only staying for a night for an event in the neighbouring village that evening. The welcome was friendly from Carolyn and her partner and they were very accommodating (I was allowed to check in early with my luggage so I could attend the daytime section of the event). The outdoor seating in the garden was lovely way to have your cooked breakfast too. I'd thoroughly recommend staying here if you are seeking a quiet country retreat only a few miles from civilisation in Ipswich.

Breakfast was lovely as was the host.
Bed was a little too firm for my taste, although my Son seemed fine with his.

The breakfast was OK. I think the coffee was instant. The location was good. Very quiet in the countryside near z very nice restaurant
I was suprised to find we could have been sharing a bathroom with the people from the other room. Luckily that room was not booked so we had the bathroom to ourselves. I would not have been happy about sharing a bathroom. The lighting in our room was terrible so I used my headtorch to read in bed.

Bed not the most comfortable

Big bed, clean, and comfortable. Tea & coffee in room, good cooked breakfast. Plus only about 15 mins from Foxhill stadium, which was great.
Not having an ensuite, but it was fine, and bathrobe supplied

After asking and not getting I fetched a loo roll from my mother's. The breakfast was expensive for what it was. The bed was a futon, I have restricted movement and the bed was a nightmare to get in and out. No one serviced the room all week.

Simple bedroom and bathroom on the first floor of the host property.
The description is misleading. It is not a suite. It is a room in the house of the guest. There is nothing wrong with it, but the description of it as a suite in a B&B is not accurate.
Breakfast was not included, wifi limited to one device per person and a tiny tv. None of them was a masive issue for us, but are not aligned with the description of the place when we booked.
