Great location for walking and exploring the Peak District. Everything we needed for a weeks stay including a BBQ and a little patio table and chairs. Walking distance to three nice pubs (one in the village). Eggs & Milk a lovely touch . Thank you đ
As mentioned before for someone tall shower sprays a bit. Not a problem using it but just worried about water damage for the host.
Parking fine for our small VW Golf just need someone to guide you out.

Cosy, warm cottage but plenty of room.
Very friendly hosts.
Appreciated the pint of milk, and eggs from the chickens that we watched through the kitchen window.
Loved the eclectic selection of furnishings and ornaments.
Interesting village. Great base for walking.
It would have been lovely to sit in the courtyard if the weather had been better!
Parking a bit tricky but we were guided in by the hosts.

I went to the Peak District for a few days walking and the cottage is perfectly placed, with easy access to a whole range of options. The cottage is very well appointed and very comfortable and cozy. Ricky met me on arrival and is a great host.

The cottage is very charming and has everything you need! The host Ricky is also lovely and more than happy to give recommendations on where to eat and visit.
The shower situation isnât ideal, can be quite easy to get water everywhere. Also if youâre a side sleeper the pillows arenât great but none of these things are deal breakers and we would happily stay again

It was self catering but they had put milk, fresh eggs laid by chickens that day tea coffee & a basket of every day things that you would need to keep you going until you got to a shop⌠fantastic hosts all round
The only thing I would say is maybe a bath mat as shower is over bath & when shampooing or conditioning it made bottom of bath slipperyâŚ. Only other thing is maybe a grab rail by bath as I couldnât use it as needed something to hel me lower myself into bath

The house was homely and comfortable. Ricky and Christine were wonderful, so kind and friendly. We didn't eat in much but everything we needed was there when we did cook. It's location is ideal for anyone wanting to explore the peak district. Perfect for walkers who like a good hill! The Barrel Inn and the Coolstone serve amazing food and drinks. We will be back!

Lovely cosy cottage, pleasant outdoor space with table, chairs and chickens to watch in owners garden!
Great shower and really comfy bed. Decent sized telly and good space overall for two people.
No dishwasher, so washing up. But no washing up bowl or dish drainer, no chopping board/ bread board and no decent ovenware for cooking meals.

Cosy cottage in lovely village. Lots of good walk as on the doorstep.
Lovely little cottage in a charming Derbyshire village. Ideal for a short get away. Hosts are very nice and helpful and the cottage is well equipped. The photos don't do it justice. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for 2 days over our wedding. Warm and comfortable, short walk into Eyam village centre. Rick and Chris even decorated the cottage with balloons and rose petals when we got back.
Free range eggs , milk and an essentials hamper was a lovely touch. Fresh flowers all over the cottage really made our stay.
Communication great and excellent value for money.
