The property was perfect for our family. Great views of the beach and held everyone comfortably. Hosts responded quickly to anything we needed.
We would happily stay here again and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a great week on Fripp Island.

We had a wonderful stay. The open concept kitchen/dining/living room in the heart of the house was the perfect gathering space. The back porch facing the ocean hosted beautiful shaded views with ceiling fans so that it was comfortable on even the hottest day. The screened front porch was a cozy space for an outdoor meal or socializing. The outdoor shower and ample garage provided the perfect space for managing all the beach comings and goings. Easy access to boardwalks that would take you to the beach. So happy we were able to stay here for our family vacation!

Great place
Easy check in. House was clean and had everything we needed. Right on the beach, nearly adjacent to the access boardwalk. Would love the back porch screened. Perfect otherwise.

Excellent Property Management, Clean Rental, Comfortable Beds, Updated Furniture
I was skeptical after reading older reviews (previous management) that weren't favorable; however, this property management team was highly responsible and made sure that the house was clean. This rental is great for family gatherings. You will really appreciate the updated furniture (new, large sofas) and master-bedroom mattress. As many rentals seem to miss these two basic necessities.....This one nailed it! Thank you, BJ & Marissa (We See'Um Rentals) for the great service.

Would go back in a heartbeat
The house was clean and well stocked. Everything worked and BJ was available for all questions. The house design has two rooms with a bathroom on one side and two rooms with two bathrooms on the other side which makes it possible to have quiet conditions when wanted. The walk to the fabulous, clean, wide beach is short and we used walkways #7 and #9 with no problems. If given the chance we would definitely go back to this house and island. The island is family friendly and people are there to relax. Fripp Island is a gem. Get your groceries at the PubliX on Lady Island on the way in.

Stay
Excellent property management group. Very responsive and attentiveGreat location. Good floor plan. Ice maker didn’t work. Propane grill didn’t work. Charcoal grill was very small and old. House could have been cleaner. And floor in kitchen is very warped. Overall though this is a really good value.

Great Beachfront on Fripp
Property is on the Beachfront, but the path to the beach is rather long. Good 6-8 minute walk. House is very comfortable - they have put in new furniture in the living room. We spend a lot of time on the two porches.

Deep cleaning desperately needed!
We have rented on Fripp Island for the past 11 years, and LOVE vacationing here! We will never be returning to this home though in the future. Upon entering and per usual, the instructions say to check the hole before unpacking... however the things that were dirty in this house is not something you’d call for or notice immediately. The A/C return vent for example is not something you notice right away but it is FILTHY and caked with dust and dirt. The curtains in every room have stains and even food stuck to them. The headboard on the main room is not as the pictures show but now a black velvet one with dust/dirt all over it. When we arrived at the property we went to use the beach access which the pictures of the property show however the island had blocked it off and said it was not accessible. The neighbors that live on the island stated this had been the case for some time however we were not informed and the pictures remain on the property page for VRBO. The first night of dinner we noticed food stuck to not one or two but multiple plates in the cabinets. Luckily we brought paper and plastic utensils! The house is just really outdated and in need of extreme cleaning and not a typical pick-up when residents leave.

Upon the initial walk-through it seemed fine. But when bath time came we saw that we had 6 wash cloths, 2 hand towels and 10 towels for 10 people. We called the contact person and asked for more towels and reported a problem with the golf cart. The golf cart was fixed the next day but we never got towels. We had to buy more wash cloths. We noticed that our socks/feet were black from the floors, the toilets needed cleaning and the ceiling fans were caked with dust. We are detailing this because there was a mandatory $200 charge for housekeeping. The 2 upholstered pieces of living room furniture were stained and smelled bad. The 3 chairs for the island had food stuck to the cushions. Again, these are things that were not apparent with a walk-through, but there was an expectation that the unit would be clean. Check-out instructions stated to strip bed sheets, get them & all towels to the laundry area and start a load before leaving, which we did. My husband and I were horrified when we stripped our bed in the master bedroom. There was a foam topper on the mattress that had a large nasty stain in the middle of it. (By the way, the laundry area was down a flight of exterior stairs to the garage, which was very inconvenient.) The only cleaning that gets done is by the renters. From what we saw all that was done was the beds were made before we got there. Our family has been coming to Fripp Island for 30-plus years without an incident anything like this one.

Disappointed
After reading other reviews, our family was anticipating a property that may be a bit outdated, but clean and perfect for a family vacation. Upon arrival, it was clear the floors had not been cleaned, and we found wads of hair in the bathtubs. We then found what appeared to be blood stains on one quilt, and two hunks of gum on another. We contacted management, and were able to get the quilts replaced. After an evening, we noticed that multiple places in the floor are sinking, and on our second day, we noticed the master bedroom was infested with termite like bugs. Needless to say, we loved our first visit to Fripp Island, but we were more than disappointed with this Home. We did not expect fancy, up to date accommodations, but cleanliness is a must. It was clear that this home is not maintained. The bathrooms need moldy trim replaced, all light fixtures are caked with dust, and food/trash reminants were found under furniture. We also had to replace 5 lightbulbs within two days. We are most certainly going back to the island, but we will find another home.

Loved the location ...
Only downside was that the Furniture and fixtures seemed a bit old and musty considering the cost . The view was wonderful and Fripp was fun.

Great beachfront house on Fripp
709 Bluefish was a great rental. The location was beachfront, but back 100 yards or so. Good view of the ocean, but very private at the same time. Kitchen was modern and clean with plenty of dishes and excellent array of pots and pans and other kitchen equipment. The layout is perfect for a multi family stay! The kitchen, dining room and living room are in a central big, open area, and on each side of that area is two bed rooms. The master has a great private bathroom and then next to it is a kids bedroom and a bathroom. The other side has two bedrooms with a bathroom in between. Each side has swinging doors to separate that area from the main area. Even more important, the house has two huge porches - one in front and one on the ocean side. The front porch is screened and the ocean side is not. You don't really need screens on the ocean side- there was a constant breeze kept the bugs away. Each evening 3 - 5 deer would come through the grassy area eating grass and looking for handouts. The house was quiet and comfortable. If you want to come to the beach for relaxation and to see lots of wildlife, this is the place for you.

We loved your home and enjoyed our stay!
The home was a perfect place for a quick getaway. Nice location for our tennis tournament. The golf cart was a huge hit with our 20 month old grandson. The home had everything we could have needed. Our golf cart broke early on and was promptly replaced with another. Checkout instructions were easy to follow. It is a beautiful home and I highly recommend for anyone looking for a property on Fripp Island. We will definitely be back. Thanks for your help and understanding with everything!

Gorgeous views, perfect house for families, great hosts
The house is more charming in person. The layout is perfect for joint families or one large family. Two bedrooms and a bathroom are separated by doors on one side of the house; the master bedroom/bath and the bunk bed room and additional bathroom are separated from the main living area by another set of doors on the opposite side. Two great porches. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. The island is private, the beaches are not crowded, the pools were great treat, we loved it.

Great place!
One of the top beaches I’ve ever been to and a great town also. House is lovely and is actually better than the pictures.
