How cool it was when we arrived. Nice location.

Close to football ground easy walking distance

I had low expectations. All I wanted was a bed for the night, at a cost effective rate, after seeing my team play at Old Trafford. The house was clean, good facilities and had all the essentials. Very happy.
Any comments here would be pedantic because overall I was very happy.
3.3
Great location and price
Bathroom shower not the best tbh, could do with a upgrade
3.3
very clean and plenty of space and plenty of utilities to use.
Bed was not comfortable could do with new bed also would need heavier bedding at this time of year.
3.3
breakfast was make your own from what was in the cupboards/fridge. This was not the full english as advertised

I basically had a house all to myself. Strange that I had to stay in the box room in such case, but it was adequate and the price was very reasonable.
There was nothing I hated but it's a bit more like an Airbnb than a hotel/guesthouse. The keys took a bit of twiddling in the locks and I'd have preferred if the room window wasn't facing the main road. It's also a little bit out of town and I'm not always fond of staying in suburbs, but that's just me.

Last minute booking, good value, convenient. Room was clean as well as facilities. Went above and beyond helping with an item left behind in the room.

The location of the property was local to our destination, reason for our visit.
The price... The photograph advertised of the exterior of the property was not the shared house we had to locate leading to hours walking the streets.
When we finally located the property there was a stranger awaiting entry to a shared house and no reception or owner present, Leading to more additional waiting / telephone calls.

the room was dirty when I arrived. nobody was
there to let me in I waited 45 minutes for some
kid to arrive on a bus didn’t even take an Uber.

Stayed here with my son to take in a Man Utd game. Location can only be described as brilliant as in, close proximity to the ground.Thats where the positives end. I couldnt find the "B and B" and even when parked across the street from it.
I attempted to contact them through email but then found a message telling me the address and that the keys were under the mat. The instructions also said that i was to " help myself to breakfast".
I looked in the fridge to find eggs and a carton of milk. I stayed for the 1 night which i had to and bought breakfast elsewhere. There was no one else in the house in the time we were there and i recieved no instructions of what to do with the key when leaving. I had difficulty getting the keys to work both the front door and the bedroom door as the locks are so worn.
The wi fi is £5 an hour or £8 per day.
The "private parking" is outside on the street and is not private.
The full english or Irish breakfast is neither. Unless you bring it with you and cook it for yourself.
I was ripped off for £110 for one night, one room for 2 people.
As with all big cities, there are good and undesirable areas and lets just say, this wasn't good. On the short walk to the Salford Quay area, there were many derelict unused, burned or graphiti buildings, some of which were clearly being squatted in.
I will not be returning to this area or bed 4 night, I'd have felt safer and happier in a Premier Inn or any other hotel.
My advice? Avoid!! or find out for yourself.
The false advertising to paint a good picture of something when it clearly isn't.
If i had been told the facts, then i could have made a decision but I'd never have paid £110 for 1 night in a room of this quality.

The bed was comfortable enough and the TV worked - these are the only two positive things I can say about the place.
The breakfast was advertised as 'Full English' on booking.com . Firstly, there was nobody in attendance in the morning to cook anything, and there was nothing to cook - I had to make my own toast with bread from the fridge which expired the same day, and everyone knows you should NEVER keep bread in the fridge. There was dust and dirt on the floor in my room, the individual soap provided was already USED by someone else, other people in the house made noise well into the small hours on a Sunday night, and the location is a noisy main road in a dodgy looking area. It's a good job the concert I saw earlier in the evening was as excellent as it was, or I would be firing both barrels in this review. I'll settle for describing the accommodation as 'extremely disappointing' and refer back to booking.com for misrepresentation.

The owner responded to my messages relatively quick. It was close to the center by bus and the uber price to go the the center was not that bad.
It wasnt really clean, there was no wifi (apperantly you need to ask the owner, which i didn't know at the time). The locks didn't work well, I had troubled getting inside the house especially at night which could have ended bad. The neighborhood was very quiet at night and for a person alone is a scary. The bed was squicky and i thought it would fall apart if I made a sudden move but it was comfortable. Also there is a continious beeping coming from the kitchen (i think), which is a bit annoying and also every time a bus was coming by the street the window would move like it was some short of a small earthquake. Considering the price you can't demand a lot, but feeling safe to a place you are going to stay even for a night is a normal thing for a small house to have, which clearly this place doesn't have!
