The welcoming was probably the best ever.
Met by a smiling host who was friendly and chatty

Facilities were excellent. The hostess greeted us with freshly baked scones. The fridge contained bread, butter, jam and milk. That was a real bonus. Rachael provided us with local travel information about restaurants. She went over and above to make us feel welcome. Each day she would inquire about our travels.

This is the loveliest place we have ever stayed. Rachel and Richard made us feel so welcome. It was just like being in our own home without any of the daily stress. It is the most peaceful place we have stayed at with the river running nearby, the abundance of birdlife and the open fire. The beds were so comfortable and we had a couple of lovely restaurants that we could walk to. We chose to stay in and cook a couple of nights because it was just so 'nice being at home'. It is the perfect place to drive and explore the Nevis range, Glencoe, Fort William and the Scottish highlands and all that this beautiful area has to offer. We will definitely be back 💚
Nothing to fault

beautiful home away from home. the cottage is big & comfortable.
the Wi-Fi is patchy at best. this was very frustrating especially when travelling for a long time & being a long way from home. it made communicating with loved ones at home very difficult.

I loved the location
The property was exceptional right on the river
No noise of traffic as you drive down a path from main road to property. Easy parking
Loved the wood fire in the lounge room
Massive kitchen
2 bedroom both upstairs with own set of stairs and en suite
All equipment in kitchens even some freshly baked scones
If we could have stayed longer

such a warm welcome! super clean facilities with all the extra touches

The location is easy to access to with a supermarket and cafe nearby.. Walking distances to nature hikes and iconic Commando Memorial.
Just have to be careful when doing the crossing to the places, the traffic is quite busy and the road is wee narrow.

The host gave a very clear and detailed route description on how to get there as the facility is a bit hidden. We were welcomed by our very friendly host wo gave us some great tips and scones. We loved the sound of the river Spean in the background, it helped us to fall asleep faster.

The Old Laundry is the perfect place to stay. The host was extremely friendly & helpful - went above & beyond. including a welcome pack of fresh homemade scones & jam, and basic essentials (tea, coffee, sugar, butter etc)
The facilities were excellent (high quality and tastefully done). The surroundings are absolutely stunning, especially the river literally on your doorstep.....and a large variety of wildlife literally in your garden.
The location is excellent for travelling around a wide range of places of interest. It has some lovely local shops & places to eat, as well as the main town of Fort William not far away.
We will definitely return & recommend to others.

Location was great

Everything was great, the location, cozy house with working chimney, and of course great host Rachel who greeted us with great hand made scones. The house itself had everything what we needed, all the kitchen appliances, washing machine, etc.

Excellent location and accommodation. We were 2 couples so the layout meant we essentially had 2 separate apartments with a great kitchen and lounge to share - brilliant. Lovely welcome pack - lots of firewood for the log fire altogether central heating kept the house really warm.

The location was fabulous. Rachel was a fantastic host as was Richard who kept us topped up with logs for the fire. The accommodation was gorgeous, comfortable, well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Will definitely be coming back here.

The pictures of the property don’t do it justice. One of the best cottages we have ever stayed. Extremely helpful and friendly hosts! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a home away from home in the Highlands.
Nothing was all perfect.

The amount of space

Spacious, comfy beds and living room, sound of the river, excellent host, board games for the rainy days, loved seeing the birds and ducks out
No music speakers, not all bathrooms had soap, kitchen could have used a table/island in the middle

We arrived later than initially planned but exchanged texts with Rachel and she was waiting for us with the key. She also offered to store our bikes in the wood shed overnight. Very spacious, comfortable, warm, clean and well equipped cottage with fast WIFI. The location along lovely river Spean is excellent for Ben Nevis Range, Fort William, and Glencoe. Views to the river from one side and to a nice lawn to the other where we enjoyed bird, ducks and deer watching.
