Stunning view over the river/lake. Well equipped and decorated cottage. Clean and comfortable. Accessible for driving with clear signage at roadside.

It was a nice place to stay. All rooms are clean and tidy. Beds are comfortable. It was dark when we arrived, the house was with lights and heater on. That makes me feel been cared and warm. The view from the house is great.

The cottage is in a good location & easy to find. It appeared clean & was neutrally decorated. There were facilities to enable the cooking of a meal.
The photo on Booking.com show the back of the cottage. sadly, we were disappointed with the access, entry door & parking space. The one door for the property was not a secure external door. The allocated parking space was far from adequate for our larger vehicle. Parked half on the uphill lane next to the wheelie bins. The entrance is down a few steps but passed the neighbouring b&b, you can wave to the staff preparing breakfast.
We were only staying 2 nights perhaps this is why there wasn’t a welcome basket/pack.
The kitchen table & chairs would be difficult to use in the kitchen with four guests.

price high but in line with market prices. Nowhere to go out and eat nearby.

Everything else was wonderful.
Parking was a bit tight for a 4x4 but had no problems.

Great location close to Portree but far enough away to feel like the countryside. Warm and clean and welcoming. The breakfast items and coffee were a nice touch
Kitchen was a bit cramped for eating, but doable. We could have done with sharper knives for catering and a few extra mugs .

Beautiful views and a superb location. The cottage was incredibly clean and comfortable - it had everything we needed for a lovely stay.

Spacious hall, comfy bedrooms, good view, excellent WiFi
Very small kitchen (but true to information given). Needed spare crockery/glasses.

Good Sized property, comfortable beds and good kitchen.
The living room had a great view of a Lake which you could wake up to or watch till you fall asleep.
The property was excellent and perhaps i would have given full points but only thing was missing was a breakfast or ingredients to put together a breakfast..
One had to drive 8 miles to fetch the ingredients from nearest town of Portree if one has not come prepared for same.
It was especially frustrating because other rooms in the property was served prepared Breakfast while we were not just because we stayed in a cottage which had cooking implements whilst other rooms in the compound were standalone rooms without built in kitchen. But the least they could have done was left some ingredients for us to prepare them. This would not have cost them much nor it would have been much of an effort. Other then that it was a relaxing stay.

Tranquil cleanliness spacious and great location
Maybe a pint of milk in fridge would have been nice

Clean. All amenities available. Fine stay
Kitchen and living room are tiny. Booking.com says there are 2 bathrooms but we were disappointed that there was only 1 and when I called them, they said it must be a mistake on the website and that this property has only one bathroom. Also photos only show the backyard but doesn’t show that it is just adjacent to another cottage with no significant barriers between the two, so not a very private backyard.

Views from living room ,kitchen and main bedroom stunning!
Location of property for touring Skye perfect👍
Cottage spacious, well equipped and very comfortable.

Lovely, bright, clean cottage with beautiful views. Nicely decorated and good amount of equipment in the kitchen.
Parking a little awkward for more than one vehicle.

The location is ideal for exploring the Trotternish loop and for accessing Portree and the Uig Ferry terminal. The views from 3 rooms are superb. We enjoyed sitting on the garden bench listening to the cuckoo and viewing the Loch and surrounding hills. Bluebells in the wooded part of the garden were beautiful. The cottage is comfortable, spacious and well equipped.
There were no negatives to report.

Property was a great location great views looking over, easy to find. Local town is only 10 mins away. Lodge was very comfortable and warm, the heating was easy to control and reasonably clean.
Unfortunately they didn’t leave us with much essentials. We understand it was a self catering lodge but we didn’t have any salt/pepper, no dish washing tablets, no black bin liners plus we tried to message the owners via booking.com and didn’t get no reply. But other then that it was a great stay and would definitely recommend!
