Staff were amazing and always willing to listen and help where possible. Access to kitchens. Plenty of shared bathrooms - never had to wait to use one. Heater in room.
Other guests! Wet and dirty towels and personal clothing left on floor / towel rails in bathrooms. Small kitchen on first floor had no kettle (apparently damaged by a guest trying to cook in it) Toaster kept being taken out of the kitchen (presumably to rooms) This was replaced by staff whilst I was there. Crockery in the cupboards was all dirty. Poor cleaning standards all around. Really needs an odd job person to go round doing repairs. Some people are living there and as such seem to have taken over. No space to put anything in the fridge. Quite noisy through the night. Front door was always left unlocked. No chair in room.

Good heating
Staff were lovely
bed was clean
Security systems were very good
Price was fair
Bed was comfortable
Wifi and electricals worked without a fault
Great for a one night stay, but not somewhere I would stay for multiple night stays as I prefer my own kitchen/bathroom facilities
Facilities were below average in the communal bathroom and the bedroom was smaller than anticipated.

Don’t like anything about it!!!
Don’t book here!!
I would not recommend this place at all first of all the guy in reception was very rude and unprofessional. From the outside the place looks alright but as soon as you enter, that’s when reality hits it’s horrible in there. Bedsheets are too thin pillowcases are dirty the mattress are fully stained yuck 🤢. The toilets were full of mould, the water was cold so we could not shower.
It’s not a safe place to stay because anyone could enter the place. The front door is always open and you can simply give your pin code to any stranger, and they can come in at any time cause there’s no security. They claim to have free Wi-Fi, but it was not working the TVs we’re not turning on we also had a tiny bin with no bin bags😚
I think this place needs to be shut down for a few months to get it fully renovated because it’s not worth your money. No matter how cheap it is I’ve been to cheaper places but at least they were clean.

Clean room with nice bed linen and towels and well appointed items in bathroom. Easy to checkin and very welcoming. Good value for money.
The mattress was not as comfortable as it should be. Decor was poor - needs attention.

Matt on reception was very pleasant and helpful. Comfortable bed; cosy wee room; plenty hot water.
Other guests pretty noisy, got woken up frequently. Not a problem if you plan on coming back in the wee hours of the night yourself I suppose!

Not what I expected. The pictures weren’t a representation of the reality. Shared bathrooms and could not use the shower in the morning because the tap wasn’t running
The staff were good the lodge isn’t very worth the price at all!
