Unpleasant and disappointing

Nothing at all !

It was nowhere near 4 stars , l wouldn’t even give two ! Extremely dusty surface and equipments, had to wipe hair dryer before using it . No Wifi in the room , top floor ,room 8. Small single bed , couldn’t move move , the white beddings were grey ! Room was cold , had to sleep with a cardigan because l wasn’t warm enough , they did have a thin blanket though . The floor was so croaky , l could wake up when next door went to toilet , all night long . I don’t understand how this place has such a high ratings .

Comfortable room with perfect amenities.

Upon arrival the spacious double room with en-suit bathroom was cosy, warm and conveniently located near the garden.

Found that carpets could have been Rug Doctored as they were showing signs of use by mud stains clearly visible to the naked eye.

Our impression: pay, sleep and go

In the vicinity of a choice of restaurants and not too far from the Historic Dockyards

The room did not have any sockets beside the bed to plug inderdaad my medical breathing assistance. Lots of cob webs, filty shower

Nice place to stay

Very modern, clean and not a bad size.

Parking is a bit of a nightmare though there are permits you can borrow. Other guests staying where very noisy through the early hours, and as the host is remote there is no-one there to deal with it.

Good location and comfortable bed. Quiet.

Parking a nightmare if you arrive late. Problems getting in and with tv which were sorted by phone call. No staff on site. Hook in bathroom and kettle in room would be good.

Easy, clean and comfortable, good value, recommended. I will use again when I go back to Portsmouth.

Well presented guest house. Secure entry, good communications via text. Easy to find and conveniently located for eating, and getting to Southsea esplanade, attractions. House beautifully decorated, nice clean carpets good decor. Room and en-suite the same. Bed clean and was comfy. Tv, desk Aircon unit and hairdryer in room. Lounge space and kitchen space available but I didn’t use.

car parking could be a problem as only 2 spaces on front drive and road parking was limited, but I was on foot so didn’t cause me any problems! Nitpicking - Could have done with a clock in the room and a box of tissues.

Clean but a little expensive

the room was very clean, I asked to turn on the heater and it was done promptly. but the the shower had no water pressure or maybe I didn't know how to operate it, and that messed out my day. Then kitchen was super clean and had everything we needed. Also location is perfect in the middle of everything.

Superb

Overall, the experience was very good. The room was comfortable, the instructions were helpful. and the facilities were all there. The location was excellent.

The shower should have a door. The water went all over the floor of the bathroom!

Great, affordable solo trip

The room was clean and spacious with an ensuite wet room. The kitchen was also clean and spacious with clearly labelled storage for each room. The other guests staying at the time were very friendly. The house staff were lovely too. Short walk from beach and high street about 10 mins. Had a lovely weekend away and would stay again x

The WiFi took a while to connect however I was the onlyly guest experiencing this. There is a WiFi connection for each floor. My room was in basement and I think my laptop was just being a diva lol. I also want in control of my heating so felt a lil cold at times.
