We loved the location, it was high up on Little Doward hill, and had terrific views, and it was not far to walk to the prehistoric hill fort on top of the hill. The only downside might be that travel in any direction meant going down the hill and back up again, but as we were there for the walking that did not worry us. Being at the end of the road (track) it meant it was very peaceful.

We loved the peaceful and scenic surroundings with walks from the cottage, so car not needed every day. Easy access to towns and other areas via the A40. Weather wasn't brilliant for a few of the days, but the cottage was spacious (2 of us) and we enjoyed relaxing there. The hosts made sure we were okay in the heavy snow, which was really appreciated. Cottage was warm and homely.
Steep staircase needed a bit of care, which we adapted to quickly.

It's all about location with this cottage. High up with fantastic views over the surrounding countryside and the Malvern Hills in the distance. Plenty of walks too. Spacious, comfortable, well-equipped house. The hosts were ready to greet us and had left milk and cake.
Well it would have been nice to have a dishwasher and as previously mentioned on other reviews it is reached by a car width long and winding, steep lane, but neither of those things impinged on our enjoyment.

Everything is wonderful. The peace, the quiet, the facilities, the host (Roger), the thoughtful mince pies and milk left for us upon arrival....I can not tell you what an amazing place this is for a relaxing time as a family or like us, a couple. It’s the second time we have stayed and it won’t be the last. If you want an amazing meal out with locally sourced, home cooked food then visit the Potting Shed. Wow....

This was one of the most amazing places we have stayed. I booked this for my partners birthday and wanted somewhere remote. He works so hard and we wanted to be away from everyone. The facilities, the views, the house and Rodger were fantastic. The only place I can not wait to revisit.
