Fabulous hosts, large breakfast menu and friendly staff

Great location and property is like a museum in itself - fabulous furnishings.

Gorgeous rooms centrally located

Gorgeous rooms ...very comfortable..breakfast exceptional..friendly helpful staff.

Rear door entrance ...not secured during day and difficult to enter when secured at night.

Comfortable, clean and highly commended!

Room beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. Ambient surroundings throughout. Lovely evening meal, friendly and attentive staff. Our stay was topped off with an excellent breakfast and smooth check-out.

Very nice!

Great location, room, and breakfast!

Parking was a nuisance - pay lot and had to move vehicle first thing in the morning. Also, upon arriving at the address it was closed with just a phone number to contact. Since I had no wi-fi and no local calling option I was a bit lost. Email had been sent - again not received without a wi-fi connection. But the wonderful hosts sent someone to intercept & assist.

Excellent B&B

Used Creates as a base while visiting family. It's a lovely B & B, the room was beautiful and very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Couldn't fault our stay.

We were woken very early by the refuse collectors but that isn't a fault of the establishment.

Great stay in Monmouth

Ben & Kenny were really accommodating, allowing us to check in early and giving us several taxi numbers to attend a wedding nearby. The rooms were cosy and well stocked, the breakfast was really good and the staff were so lovely and helpful.

Very friendly staff during our stay and our room was lovely, with a very comfortable bed. Extremely impressed with both Creates and Monmouth.

Lovely rooms, welcoming staff

Very comfortable room and good food. Staff all friendly and were concerned about our problems (car broke down on the way). Room has nice toiletries, included eye masks and ear plugs, but room was very quite so not needed. We stayed in Hare’s Warren which was spacious. Plenty of bottled water, tea etc. bath with shower above, lots of hot water at good pressure. We enjoyed our dinner and breakfast. Thank you!

A very positive experience and wouldnt hesitate to recommend to others and will certainly stay again

The breakfast was very nice. The location is very good. The added extras in the room are a lovely idea, and appreciated. The staff were all very efficient and really friendly and helpful. I loved the ethos of the hotel.

If I have to put negative points 1) the view wasnt the prettiest (the roof) but not much can be done about that. 2) The creaky floor, but again nothing can be done about that either. These points are negatives towards the building and the position of the building only and not towards the way the hotel is run and this didnt spoil my stay in any way.

Awesome unique place with great staff. Worth the visit and stay!

Absolutely loved this place. What a quirky find, unique, vibrant happy place to stay. Lovely staff and location to the Wye valley. The artwork was fantastic and the room was so comfy!

NA, great place. Only downside we’re not a lot of places to eat at the start of the week.

Excellent for an overnight stay to see Monmouth and restaurant is great.

It was ideal for us to take a stroll around Monmouth and Creates is a beautiful place to stay. Breakfast was absolutely spot on, well presented and lots of choice and plenty of it, no buffet breakfast here, table service, which we loved. Staff were really friendly too, there were 2 girls in particular, one from Bristol and another who had only been there 3 weeks who was also very helpful and chatty. Great place.

Nothing really, we stayed in the top twin bedroom and had beautiful views. Toilet lid did keep coming down on you when sitting on loo but that was quite funny.

It was very nice although the poached eggs were very hard.

As a disabled person, I found the stairs difficult. Not being greeted by a member of staff was unusual.

Would highly recommend for anyone travelling to Monmouth or the surrounding area

Excellent conditions and service. Staff were very helpful and accommodating as we arrived later than expected. The connected bistro is amazing Excellent Vegan Choices!!!

Staff at breakfast was a little rushed,as there was a limited amount of servers, and it was busy and had to wait a bit to catch attention, but they were very friendly and helpful
