Loved it!!!

So very clean! Spacious rooms! Friendly people! And quiet at night. We really loved it here. The kitchen was big and clean, there is a little shop outside which is convenient, the common space is also very nice with clean pillows and so many books to choose from! Board games and a dvd player. Beautiful green plants. They cleaned our room every day, the bed was comfy, the shower nice! Airconditioning great!! Space to hang your clothes and lights you can turn off when you’re in bed. We all know how nice that is ;) Also far enough from the noice and very close to where it happens. The WiFi was good and they had a solar light in case of a black out that’s happens every now and then in Siargao. We had it twice in one week for just a couple of hours. Part of the package! You will be fine ;) We would definitely come back here!! It’s all you need :)

Happy to return to Riad Masaya

Truly appreciate coming back to Riad, staff are lovely & helpful. Clean facilities and a beautiful hostel to stay while in Siargao. Will continue to return & recommend to friends.

Amazing stay

Our whole experience at Riad Masaya was amazing. Lorena and her family were such lovely hosts and made our stay feel like home. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Estancia en General Luna

Zonas comunes agradables, habitación amplia. Muy buena ubicación, la zona de Cloud 9 está muy accesible desde el alojamiento. Algo lejos de la zona de ocio y restaurantes, accesible en moto en 10’.

El baño se atascaba a menudo, la ducha a veces no funcionaba, y al no tener cortina o mampara se mojaba/inundaba el suelo del baño constantemente. El grifo del lavabo goteaba por abajo.

Large and very comfortable room, lovely decor an atmosphere. Very helpful, gave us assistance to rent a motorcycle and kept our luggage in storage while we toured the island.

Lovely stay in a more quiet part of town

Cute decor, and the rooms were a good size, and were well maintained. The common area is also nice, good to have somewhere to sit and read and relax

The area where the rooms are gets very hot, so it can get really warm throughout the day

Very cute, clean and chilled location with awesome staff

Everything worked perfectly, from the pick up, the rental of the scooter. The owner and the staff at amazing and I can 100% recommend this chilled place.

The design and decors are really nice. The room was spacious and comfortable. The accommodation is operated by a local filipino family. They are very quiet but very nice. They were always ready to answer any question we had. Highly recommend!

The bathroom door is a bit hard to close. It could use some work.

Amazing location, great host, clean place, friendly price and comfortable to be with.

The room was super clean. Host was awesome. There are also foods and other things you can cook on the earea.

The electricity where always going in and out. I know it’s not the property’s fault but the island itself. Due to this, aircon can’t keep it cool and laptop/ electronic devices is a concern.

Danke für das schöne Hostel

-a loving family and you felt very accepted and welcomed into the family. -the layout of the beds in the room was just great. the separation gives you the feeling of your own room. -the large shower and shelves were just perfect. -a large kitchen for shared use and enough refrigerators . -small sari sari shop where you could get everything a backpacker heart needs. Thank you for letting me be a part of you for a short time. RIP VANESSA

perfect stay! highly recommend this place!

beautiful house, super clean , spacious and welcoming. interesting modern architecture. it doesn’t feel like a hostel, more a home. the staff is awesome and always down for chatting recommendations or going out - even did some private travels with them. had a very nice karaoke night on my first day. very nice dorms with a lot of privacy. would love to stay a lot longer to enjoy this island a lot more!

a home from home, our favourite place in Philippines, we will be back.

everything! the room was so comfy and all the little touches and decorations made us feel so at home. shared facilities are also great, kitchen and lounge were always clean and great social spaces. finally the staff were fantastic, so friendly and really made an effort to make us comfortable.

our only small issue was the wifi but we understand the wifi on Siargao isn’t great in general.

The room was big and clean. There is a hot shower and a big cabinet to put all our stuff. The kitchen and common area are very clean as well.

Amazing

My room is very big. The the shower and toilet area is also big. They do cleanings every 2-3 days i think? I love it especially when i come back from tour and im very tired and you’ll come home with a very clean unit. Location is great, it’s very near the famous Catangnan BBQ. It’s along the highway so it’s not hard to hail a tricycle.

Nothing that i dont like.

Awesome Place / Budget Friendly

I was able to work at their lobby from midnight until morning and literally slept peacefully there too while working. A budget friendly hostel but very comfortable place to stay in. Room was big and clean.

Amazing place and amazing vibes - loved it!

We absolutely loved our stay at Riad Masaya. Wish we could've stayed here for the whole two weeks we were in Siargao. Even though it's a bit far from town, the spacious room, beautiful and quiet common area, friendly staff and comfortable bed completely makes up for it. And it's amazing value for money too. You can feel the love and dedication that's been put into the place, the room and common area have everything you might need - they have thought about everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. And they clean your room everyday which is not common at this price point!
