It makes my a bit sad that I cannot give a higher rating for this place, because the inside is really beautiful, the garden is so relaxing, I love the vibe of it. The beds are big and comfy, the rooms and the bathrooms are clean and everything works and of course the staff was very kind and helpful.
However, the location is just a huge minus. The noise from the Interstate right in front of the property has been extreme. I didn't close an eye that night...despite using my high quality earplugs that usually get me sleeping while the plane is still taking off. It only adds to the problem that the Interstate is the main connection for all traffic between Chetumal and the border to the rest of the state...so it's mostly heavy duty trucks going, and they go day and night.
I've talked to some of the guests staying in cabins further in the back, according to them it was less noisy there. So my recommendation would be to avoid the huts in front at all cost and go for one in the back.
Of course location is something that cannot be changed, but you could for example raise a wall in front of the property instead of the hedge...this would already block a major part of the noise and it's not that expensive either. If you ever end up doing this, I'd love to stay with you again!

The place is amazing, the people there is really nice and the cabins are super nice and clean. I highly recommend it
If you're a dream sleeper just consider that the location is next to the highway. So it could be a bit loud for sleeping.

On l'a dérangée clairement. Aucun effort.

If your an early riser this place is for you, I loved the outdoor shower and enjoyed staying outside in the huts. Bike hire 150 pesos, 7 mins cycling to town and 12 min walk to ADO.
There was no microwaveable bowls, Wi-Fi wasn’t very good. Bed was very uncomfortable in mango.

Charming atmosphere, glamping tents were clean. Common areas could use a little TLC, especially the communal kitchen. For such a small area, they do have beautiful foliage. You also get a discount if you want to visit their sister location along the lagoon. It’s worth the price. Communal bathrooms were clean, and we had our laundry done, which came back clean and fresh.
The kitchen was slightly messy. Granted it’s communal and they give you stickers to claim your groceries. Red is off limits green is shared. I don’t think guests really pay attention as all of our groceries disappeared. They have a seating section but during our stay it was missing half the couch, so we sat on tabletops. No biggy, I’d just get it fixed soon. Dishes, cups, and dinnerware was not on my level of cleanliness, and I’m pretty well traveled. Lastly if your a light sleeper, do NOT book El Buho, it is situated right along side a very busy, noisy highway. You need earphones or plugs to sleep.

They have nice Spaces
The staff is not easy going, they are really stiff and the charge me some city taxes that were already included in the original price. A total scam

Lovely nicely designed and decorated tents.
You couldn’t smoke anywhere in or around the property. It was so close to the road so noise was loud.

It was really cute to experience glampping beds we’re confly and the staff was really nice.
The grounds were pretty tropical and had cameras everywhere so you felt safe leaving your stuff. It’s gated and your car is inside the property. The tent slep 8 but it was only 3 of us each had our own bed and private bathroom.
Nothing, what it said in the advertising was what you got. Take towels.

The glamping was cute, smaller than I expected, but very cosy. The tent was nice and clear and the hot shower worked well. The cold shower did not have enough pressure.
The service was very disappointed!! We have been scammed.. Me and my boyfriend rented bikes. The bikes were very small and old, but we were fine with it. After 15 minutes biking, the pedal on one bike almost fell off and the handlebar of the other bike was super loose, so it was too dangerous to bike back. We went back to change to bikes, but the woman at the glamping said that we had to pay for the damages first. Of course, we disagreed and wanted to talk to the manager or the woman that rented us the bikes that morning. She would be back the next morning. Although we rented the bikes for a whole day, we agreed and decided to let it go. Unfortunately, only a cleaning lady was present the next morning, who was not able to help us. The cleaning lady also told that someone would be there in the afternoon. We came back the afternoon, because we had to check out as well. The lady that told us that we should pay for the damages was behind the desk and she told us that we must pay if I wanted my passport back. After telling her that we waited all morning to talk about it but no one was there, she said that we were lying and that the other woman was ready to talk to us. This made us super disappointed and a bit mad, the lack of service and then accusing us of lying!!... The sad part was that I really needed my passport so we were forced to pay, but we absolutely did NOT agree!! Very disappointed experience. How can you treat your own customers like that?! My tip; take pictures of everything!

The place is really beautiful, and perfect for families.
It’s next to a highway, so if you’re not with a car, it’s not very easy to cross.

Loved the glamping tent
The way everything looks, bohemian style
Very nice
Very loud, because of the busy traffic
The last day we could not stay there for a few more hours to wait for our bus in the evening, which was very sad, we were very dissapointed about that.

nice place, and got an upgrade to a bungalow with an ensuite which was amazing! wifi worked perfectly and fab to keep cool at night! . kitchen was well equipped and had filtered water! loved the shower!
so many rules.. can’t leave luggage.. there is a $30BZ fee on arrival only in cash for some sort of environmental fee.. this should be clearly displayed in the booking description to avoid confusion

Cabañas are cute, the treehouse was cute.
location, location, location… also, the kitchen could’ve been better equipped with nicer pans to cook in.

That glamping is asking to leave passport during your stay or to leave 3000 pesos deposit- please read all policy. We are experienced travelers and never in no one hotel nobody was asking to leave for them passports or deposit. That why we cancelled our stay, but refund wasn't made.

Really nice location with a lot of beautiful plants and they take a lot of care of them! You can easily spend a day reading in one of the two hammocks and look at the beautiful plants! Staff was friendly as well although we have to say that we had no encounters besides check-in and checkout :)
It's located next to the main street which is still busy at night. It's still camping so you have to bring earplugs. We had them so no problems for us but without them it would be hard to sleep.

Beautiful well maintained cabins. Lovely atmosphere.
The road outside was very noisy and traffic could be heard continually throughout the night.

It was a good night, and the value for money is really good.
The staff was not speaking English, but they were very friendly anyway. The neighbourhood is not that good because it is next to a big road.

Good bed, nice tent. It looks cute and the tent, toilets and showers were clean.
There were dogs walking around, who where also jumping against you and following you to the tent. They bark by night and have their feces everywhere on the glamping. We were so scared of them that we did not dare to go to the toilet. In the tent there was no wifi.

Good bed, clean tent.
There were dogs walking around who also jumped on people and followed us to our tent. We were very scared of them and did not even dare to go to the toilet in the night. The dogs also left there feces everywhere on the glamping. The wifi was bad, it did not work in the tent. The shower was very weak. You have to pay for hot water.
The roosters from the neighbours crowed very loudly half of the night. Because of this we could not sleep.
