The location and view were fabulous! We had a wonderful time! A very comfortable and clean room. The bed was like a soft pillow! We slept beautifully! I would recommend to anyone looking to get the full Laguna Beach experience!
I loved it all - nothing to complain about.

Location was great - we walked to dinner every night. Cute mid century vibe.
Slightly dated, but to be expected given the type of motel.

I made a reservation for the King Suite on Memorial Day weekend 2023 in November 2022. Two weeks prior to my stay, I was told the room was not available due to plumbing repairs and I was offered a downgraded smaller room. When I arrived at the hotel, the staff was extremely rude and judged me based on my appearance. The staff disrespected me for no reason at all within minutes of arriving. The staff told me I had to leave the property because my room was not ready, and never offered to store my belongings or hang out by the pool for the 15/30 minutes it would take for my room to be ready. I had to vacate the property. The staff ruined my birthday weekend by treating me so poorly.

quiet, spotlessly clean, perfect location for walking downtown. an authentic slice of mid-century modern.
5.0
The quiet, the well kept grounds, the location.
The bathroom faucet’s cartridge needs replaced. It drips constantly and if when the lever is turned on fully, water blasts out from around the base of the faucet.

Fantastic canyon views and mid-mod property close to everything. We liked that it was a small property in a quiet area.
We expected a hot tub but it was out of commission and the front gate lock was completely missing.

The hotel was quiet and charming. Very clean all around, nice linens, friendly guests. Beautiful patio and pool. Liked the close proximity to palm Canyon Blvd. Very intimate setting and friendly guests. Super easy check in and out.
The mattress was very uncomfortable and the curtains could use some updating. Pinholes in the black out curtains let light in. I would have rated this hotel much higher if the mattress had been comfortable. Kind of put our backs out.

The location is amazing, a walking distance from hiking trail heads, nested close to the tall mountains in a beautiful and manicured neighborhood. The housekeepers were very nice and efficient. the manager was extremely professional and responsive. The garden was well groomed. The king size bed was very comfortable. The kitchenette well appointed, we had our breakfast in the nook and our lunch in the patio on the large table, serenaded by birds.
A wonderful place and stay. We will come again.
The jacuzzi was under repair.

great location near downtown Palm Springs with easy parking and beautiful views from pool; bed was comfortable
bathroom decor is fun but needs updating (dripping faucet, toilet seat would not stay up); overall furnishings a little worn

The design of the place and the big room I believe it's number one
I didn't like how I found a few roaches tiny one's, huge one's that were outrageous we stayed there a few days and we just didn't get no help with us wanting to change rooms.

The location , quietness, atmosphere and privacy were great
This could be an excellent location but the 1970’s area bathroom and kitchen facility for the price being charged is unacceptable. Also, the showers were less than lukewarm every single day , no matter what time of day

check in was uninviting - we had to get keys from the maid - and we got the runaround about using the bikes . the hot tub was under construction. No ice machine, no soda machine.

The whole Palm Springs Vibe
cost of stay was a bit pricey. Rooms could be updated a bit more

The property was very quiet and serene. The landscaping is beautiful. The rooms are very nice and comfortable.

property was quiet, next to the mountains and with clientele that were respectful. this is not a party resort, nor is it one of the modern/recently remodeled resorts in town. that is probably why this was not an inexpensive property, but it was more reasonably priced than many of the others in town. it was within an easy walk or drive to the main strip in town. pool was such a relief as we visited in Sept when temps were about 115 degrees F. rooms were large and excellent air conditioning, a mini fridge, microwave, amazing spa robe, large comfortable bed. they have designated parking spots for guests but not enough for when the hotel is full. street parking overnight nearby was not a problem.
They need more lamps/ceiling light as rooms are dark (all on first floor so if you want the privacy blinds closed there, the two lamps in the room are not effective at all). bathrooms desperately need to be redone as there are shelves that stick out that you hit your head on and there’s no fan. no front desk and when you call the number for help, you leave a message and it takes forever for them to call you back. they are also slow on responding to text.

Beautiful mid century modern property. We understand it has just changed ownership after decades in the same family. The pool area was lovely. The room was very clean. It was very easy to get into the property and the management team was communicative before our stay with information on how to access the property. The location at the foot of the San Jacinto mountains was spectacular and the neighborhood is fabulous, walkable, clean, and safe.
The hot tub was out of order / taped off. We were not aware of this before arriving. The toilet in room 11 needs to be adjusted as the cistern kept filling every minute or two which was terrible during the night. My poor Mum who was visiting from New Zealand was kept up all night which wasn't good. We were also disappointed that we were tucked away in room 11 which is very dark and doesn't have much natural light. All the other rooms seemed to have lovely big windows / sliders out to the pool. There were also a TON of mosquitoes (we have them in LA at the moment which is a massive problem) and we wanted to keep the door open for the light but the mosquitoes would come in so that wasn't an option (bugs were noted on the guest information sheet left for us in our room).
