Beautiful, tastefully furnished cottage on Kiawah Island, SC. 3 beds, 2 baths, T.V. room/den with pocket door. Family owned and operated in the OceanWoods neighborhood on West Beach. Located on quiet cul-de-sac. This home backs up to Lagoon #27, start your morning in the screen porch overlooking the peaceful lagoon. 3 minutes away from one of the most beautiful beaches in the country (access via Boardwalk 15 – ramped with easy access for families and bikers). Convenient location to the Sanctuary Hotel and Golf Resort, Night Heron Park and Recreation Center, Freshfields, and more.

1,306 sq ft home, with a screen porch and deck.

Outdoor shower tucked away for privacy.

Living room and den both have Amazon T.V.s and Google Chromecast. The primary bedroom has a Google Chrome TV with Chromecast built in. High speed internet allows you to stream from your laptop or phone straight to the TVs.

Dining area with hardwood table. Appliances and cookware available for use. Stocked spice cabinet, 12-cup coffee maker, Keurig, etc.

Master bedroom: Queen bed, walk-in closet, bathroom with walk-in shower, T.V.

2nd Bedroom: Queen bed

3rd Bedroom: Two twins

T.V. Room/Den: Large Flat screen T.V. with sound bar

Linens and bath towels are provided. Starter set of bath supplies available.

Beach towels will be provided.

Central air with ceiling fans in every room. Honeywell thermostat for easy climate control.

Screened porch with small settee, rocking chair and bistro table with 3 dining chairs

Stackable washer and dryer available for use. Basic starter supplies provided - includes dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, dish washing soap, and sponge.

Departure cleaning service used weekly.

Set of beach chairs available for guest use.

Umbrella and Chair beach service information will be provided for your convenience, if needed.

Multiple bike rentals available.

Parking space for 2 cars.

No pool access with this property.

House Rules:

- Check in: Saturday at 4 pm
- Check out: Saturday at 10 am
- NO smoking/e-cigarettes
- NO pets allowed
- Fireplace is not available for use
- Beach towels must be laundered prior to departure
- Bath towels are not allowed to be taken to the beach

Kiawah Island Rules (THESE ARE STRICTLY ENFORCED AND COULD LEAD TO FINES FOR THE RENTER):

- 2 cars only in drive, no street parking
- Bikes must be stored in the bike rack when not in use
- Towels and beach gear should not be visible from the street (this includes nothing hanging on railings)

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. We come to Kiawah often and love this location. The house was clean and the couch was super comfortable. The ice maker didn’t work but the owner did supply ice trays so we did have ice just not as much as we would have liked. Overall it was a great week at this peaceful cottage.

Enjoyed another week at Kiawah. Due to battering storms we were thankful that the house was located near a functioning boardwalk (15). Many had been damaged, and not in use, but were in the process of being repaired. The house was comfortable and clean. Especially appreciated the well stocked supplies of spices and other cooking ingredients. Very attentive host. Would certainly stay there again.

This was my family's first time in Kiawah after hearing such great things about the island for years. We LOVED this rental. The layout was perfect for us (2 adults, 2 kids). Very clean and comfortable. Very quiet area. Extremely well-stocked with cooking supplies (tools, spices, etc), clutch for eating dinners in most nights. A dedicated desk/office area with strong WiFi was a nice surprise too! The location was awesome. A very short walk to the beach entrance with a ramp that easily allowed us to haul our gear on a wagon. Also, close to the bike path for easy biking and walking over to the playground / Night Heron Park area. Michael was very communicative and helpful. We decided to rent a crib for my daughter last minute and he was nice enough to allow them to come setup ahead of our arrival. We had the best time and hope to come back and stay here again in the future!

This was our first trip to Kiawah and this home was in the perfect location! Close to the beach, quiet, and fully stocked. The kids loved riding bikes to the basketball court and market. Would highly recommend. House was clean and fully stocked!

Awesome house that had everything we were looking for - really nice common area/living rm., a set-aside office space, and really comfortable beds in all bedrooms. On top of all that, right near the beach, playground, and biking trails, and the host was very responsive. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortably furnished home with well equipped kitchen. We love the location; it is just a short walk to the beach, convenient to Night Heron Park, and provides many options for enjoyable bike rides on the beach, along the many bike trails on the island, and to Freshfields Village. We appreciated the beach chairs and beach towels available for our use. Would definitely recommend.

We just returned from our wonderful Kiawah vacation at this VRBO property. The house was perfect for our family, very well stocked, clean, and comfortable. The owner was responsive and great to work with. Excellent location to the beach, bike trails, and Night Heron Park. We visited the nature center and playground most mornings and had ice cream at the market most evenings. We are already planning our next trip!

We love staying at this cottage every year. We have been going to Kiawah for over 20 years and have tried several different locations. This cottage is perfect. Great distance to beach. Clean, well stocked and feels like home. Property owner always checks in and communicates. Will be back again next year!

We have been visiting Kiawah for several years! A beautiful island and so much to do! This house was absolutely perfect for our family of 5 adults. It is a very short walk (bike ride) to the beach! Beautiful views of the lagoon located behind the house (fun to watch the alligators). Lots of amenities and very clean and comfortable! We had a fabulous stay.

This house is ideally located for easy beach access and biking. The house is very comfortable with everything you need to enjoy your stay. There is even an office/den who ch was perfect for the one person who needed to work while we were there. All the basic kitchen and cleaning supplies are there. The space is so well designed it’s hard to believe it is only 1300 square feet. Plenty of room for family of 6.

We loved this cottage. It was an amazing spot where we enjoyed our stay immensely. The house is well furnished and a short walk to the beach. The outdoor shower is crucial with small children at the beach. We have stayed on other parts of the island and this spot was just perfect.

Just returned from our annual family vacation in Kiawah and already talking about making sure we get the same house again next year. From the moment we walked in the doors after nearly 12 hours on the road we felt at home in this comfortable cottage. My daughter's boyfriend remarked that it was the nicest beach house he's ever been in! It was clean, well-maintained and had a well-stocked kitchen and extra sheets/blankets/towels. We were also happily surprised to find several relatively new beach chairs when we rinsed after going to the beach- one of our chairs had broken, so finding these saved us a trip to town! For families traveling with younger children, the Cheaney's also stock plenty of extra beach towels and sand toys :). The cottage is just a few minute walk to the Beach, and Night Heron Park, Grill & Bar are less than a 10-minute walk or just a few minutes by bike. There was a minor maintenance issue that we brought to the owner's attention, and Michael was extremely responsive - he kept in touch to let us know that it was being taken care of and when. We could not have had a more positive experience with an owner, and we truly appreciated his going above and beyond our expectations. Kiawah is by far our favorite family vacation destination and this cottage is the one we hope to stay in again.
