Pleasant place to stay in the heart of the Forest of Dean
Very friendly welcome; excellent location for exploring the Forest of Dean; good onsite parking; excellent full English breakfast; good guest lounge for relaxing in the evening.
The room was rather small, particularly the bathroom. The wifi was poor to non-existent which also meant that the "Internet-enabled TV" simply didn't work.

A great B&B - comfortable, clean room with thoughtful touches and a great cooked breakfast.
Stayed here whilst visiting relatives in the Forest of Dean. A great B&B, room was very well-appointed and nice and cool on a very hot day. We were given tea on arrival and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds, nice bathroom and shower, excellent freshly-cooked breakfast. Good pub next door - didn't eat there, but beer was good!
Everything was good!

Great b&b . Lovely comfortable stay . Good breakfast .
Such a warm welcome from the lovely couple who own Edale House B & B. We had been let down by another B & B so appreciated there help. They recommended a pub down the road to have a meal. And it was delicious and well priced. Friendly locals to chat to as well. Our room was cosy and warm. Lovely comfortable bed and a nice hot shower. Breakfast was also very good . And set us up for the day. We were in the area for a wedding and won’t hesitate to use them again if we were in the area.

Great memories of Edale House B&B
Beautiful Georgian home. Host Jane was lovely and so helpful when it came to places to visit. Greeted with a cuppa tea on arrival and couldn't do enough for us. Lovely clean and manicured room beautifully layed out. Breakfast were lovely and my husband loved the black pudding brought back memories of his childhood with his grandparents. The Woodsman Inn, beautiful pub and staff so lovely, food the best. Highly recommend both Edale House and the Woodman Inn as places to visit and stay while in Parkend. Beautiful part of the country. Jane was a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome in her home. Thank you for a very memorable stay. Only wished we'd stayed longer.

Forest of Dean is a special place and Edale House is the perfect place to stay.
Breakfast was exceptional. It was probably the best we have ever had included in accommodation. The location at Parkend was in the heart of the Forest of Dean.
We needed to have a longer stay.

Great location, very helpful staff, decent breakfast, well kitted out for cyclists
The location was perfect for exploring the Forest Of Dean by bike as there is a track next to the property that leads you right there and there bike washing/secure storage facilities. The B&B overlooks a cricket green at the front and has a nice garden to the rear, pub next door for food/drink. There is a guest lounge and honesty bar which is a nice touch, decent breakfast, clean rooms, very helpful staff. For cyclists you would be hard-pressed to find a better B&Bs to stay in if you're bringing bikes.
Very minor annoycance really (and this is being quite picky) but we couldn't draw the curtains completely, gap down the midde, no net curtains either.
