Wonderful stay in a beautiful setting with super friendly welcoming host

We were met by a very welcoming Sam , who really Couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable . The setting was stunning with the gardens beautiful. The breakfast was gorgeous and the service super Slick

The room was tiny , with barely enough room to squeeze past the bed into the micro sized bathroom . It was described as small to be fair on the booking details .

Gorgeous location, attentive staff, comfortable rooms & delicious food.

Everything was amazing- staff were really friendly & attentive, location was gorgeous, rooms & decor were lovely too. I read my book by the fire, very peaceful! Breakfast was delicious and we even had homemade cookies left in our room- really lovely touch :) thank you!

Nothing negative- everything was brilliant!

Peaceful comfortable, good location for local site’s.

Breakfast was great, good choice and cooked to order, Sadly dinner not available on the 2 nights we stayed,

Characterful Manor House in beautiful location, Sadly lacks modern facilities, ie shaver socket, Small bathroom with inconsistent electric shower over the bath, Disappointed given the cost of the room.

We enjoyed the ambience in the hotel and the location within a quite village outside Ross-On-Wye.

We chose the continental breakfast which was adequate but did notice the very well presented cooked breakfasts being served to other customers. Also, staff were extremely pleasant, helpful and willing to engage with customers. A well stocked bar was available in the evening although the restaurant was not open on the nights we stayed at Glewstone. We will return again and combine the break when the restaurant is open.

Nothing significant although there was little pressure which caused the water to little more than a dribble from the cold tap in our en-suite bathroom.

The box sized bedroom however it was a very short notice booking and was the only room available. Dinner was very expensive and not of the quality expected

beautiful building, really lovely sheets and welcoming staff

nothing - although we did get a tiny room but as a bed for after a wedding it was perfect. if you were staying for a longer visit I’d recommend going for a larger room.

Beautiful property, exceptional staff, excellent meals.

Sam and Charles were so welcoming and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make are stay wonderful. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. The house itself is lovely and the setting is beautiful.

I cannot think of one thing I would change.

An exceptional and delightful hotel.

A beautiful Georgian building in secluded location. A grand old house with nine accommodation rooms. Our room was terrific and restaurant and food were excellent. Lovely staff.

Nice location, comfortable room, helpful staff

The quality of the food at the breakfaast could be better. We had one of the more special choices - perhaps the standard British Cooked Breakfast would have been a better choice. Room was quite small.

Truly lovely country house

The location was superb, the house set in picturesque grounds was beautifully decorated and furnished. I loved the cosy feel of the sitting room and dining room with flowers, plants and warm open fires. We were given a very warm welcome and all the staff were attentive and professional. I booked a 'small double room' and it was indeed very small, but furnished to a high standard, the bed was gorgeously comfortable, along with tea and coffee were homemade cookies. It was ideal for a one night stop over, but qe also wished we were staying longer. A lovely venue for a small celebration or wedding.

The room was very snug, but I had been warned.
