7.0
Nice and quiet, but close enough on a grab to get to the town.
It was dated, our room smelt stale and the swimming pools water was not very clean
4.0
Nice and kind staff
Good restaurant for breakfast & dinner
Motobike rental very easy in a few minutes
Our room was terribly humid, moist, so it was very inconfortable for us (wet air, wet floor, wet clothes…, bad smell…and even mold growing on the floor…).
Room also need a refresh (old)

I loved everything it felt secluded and was in a very beautiful natural setting.
There was nothing not to like, I would love to stay here again.

The staff is really nice and helpful, they do everything to make the guests happy
The hotel needs serious renovation. It was a great hotel 20 years ago for sure now it looks like a ghost town

Nice view.
Nice breakfast.
very bad wifi.
Old rooms. we had to upgrade from family room to President suite. family rooms were small and very Old maintained. President suite was better, but still old maintained and non existing wifi.

The serenity, the pools and the Restaurant although the menu was a little limited and moving it from by the river wasdisappointing. . Staff were outstanding.
There are a lot of steps which can be physically challenging.

Ideal location, excellent value for money, kind & helpful staff. Great pool & views 🫶🏻
The layout of the facilities isn’t very clear from the listing description. Our villa was located quite far down which required a lot of stairs to access. it was fine with us but could be an issue for a guest with mobility issues. The furniture and linen in the villa itself was a little dated.

been to a lot of 5 star hotels and this property pitches a notch above on their service. their food is simple but humble. staff are so warm and helpful. the rooms are neat and perfect spot in Ubud.

the location
the room had a bit of unpleasant smell

I loved the surroundings and the pool areas in the middle of the jungle. The room was big and the bed very comfy.
The Wifi was terrible. I wanted to work, and it was impossible. So we had to pay for the co-working next door to have calls.

nice outdoor bathroom. huge bed and very comfy.

the gardens are absolutely amazing. this hotel in its hay day would have been amazing.
stayed in the Presidential suite, very big, but it wasn’t clean. I am glad I brought my own cleaning wipes to clean all down. the bugs in the room, my family got bitten alive( I guess location of where we were). room needs revamping/updating. tvs in both rooms did t work. Not much staff around.

nature
The rooms are terrible. Mold on the walls in the room, disgusting bedsheets, outdated shabby furniture and lizards in the room. No hot water in the tap.The staff is not helpful at all! Even if they promise to do smth for you next day- they never do as the don’t pass the info to each other or just don’t want to bother themselves.. breakfast is a very poor variety… rice and noodle… no yogurt, no cheese.. no healthy bread…

Lots of bugs in the room in the morning I had mosquito bites all over my arms as they weren't under covers

- Really good location.
- Very friendly stuff.
Bad Wi-Fi.
Ninety-five percent of the time I ate at the hotel, I always washed my hands before eating. but one day I got food poisoning, and I think it's most likely the fault of the kitchen staff. maybe a problem in sanitation, maybe a poor-quality product.
In my room the shower was cold.

Stuff is just awesome: very kind and attentive. Garden and river are very beautiful
Rooms are pretty small, internet (biznet ISP) often works badly in the rooms, but works good in the resto (nusanet ISP)

we loved staying here so much that we extended our stay twice. the hotel exceeded what we expected from the fotos - especially the gorgeous details: statues, plants and flowers, carved limestone). staff is lovely and extremely helpful with anything you need. It is located in a cliff near a river - a beautifully lush and dramatic scenery. We traveled many sites (by scooter) from there as we did not want to leave (Mt.Batur, Tegallalang Ricefields, Jatiluwih Rice Terraces) but there are also many sites nearby. We really enjoyed the breakfast (strong coffee and delicious goreng dishes). We recommend taking the rooms with garden view as they have been renovated but the river view rooms are also very charming. Everything was clean and the room was cleaned daily. Bed was huge and comfortable. we had all the amenities needed (fridge, safe, drying rack etc.). We would definitely stay at this oasis again.
that we could not take it with us to our next location
