LOVED THIS PLACE! The wife is such an unbelievably sweet and cute lady! They give you a map of the town, which highlights many great restaurants and activities. The views are breathtaking ! Breakfast was amazing and gave you many options to choose from! They even have a living room area if you want to watch tv and a bar!

Eigenlijk niets. De prijs was voor IJsland ook goed.

Maybe the best hotel we stayed at during our two-week road trip around Iceland! The room was comfortable and spacious, the location was good, and the staff were friendly. But the two things that stood out the most were the delicious breakfast that was way better than the other hotel breakfasts we’d had, and the fact that this hotel can do your LAUNDRY! On day 8 of our trip, this was clutch! And one load was only 2500 isk, which was a deal in our eyes to be able to leave the laundry while we explored.

Hotel caratteristico a Eyvindará. Le camere sono una serie di "bungalow" forse poco poco datati in fatto di arredamento, ma carini e con ampia vetrata sul panorama per godere della vista della neve e, se fortunati, dell'aurora boreale. Personale gentile e disponibile
Non è presente un ristorante interno

Lovely setting
Basic room but pleasant

The location out in the forest was nice and because we weren’t near other lights we had a great view of the aurora borealis in early September. The terrace looking out to the forest. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
In the amenities on Booking.com it said there was a washing machine. There was no washing machine in the room or available for guests to use in the Hotel. There was a “washing service” provided at reception where they washed your clothes for you for a fee and returned them the same day. I prefer to do my own washing and I felt a bit let down by being told there was a washing machine where there wasn’t one. `There was some construction work going on down the road with heavy machinery. We arrived on Sunday so didn’t notice it until Monday morning but we were out during the day and they stopped about 5pm so it didn’t really affect us too much, It just detracted from the feeling of being away from the noise and hustle and bustle of being in the town.

Friendly staff, good value, door to the outside backyard area
Slightly out of town.

Staff did not reply to my messages for assistance

We had a wooden cabin. There was a small kitchenette which was useful. The room was clean and comfortable. There is also a common hot tub that can be used.
It is situated outside the town and quite secluded.

We stayed in a cabin that had a great kitchenette with a fridge/freezer that worked well for us preparing breakfast.
The cabin could definitely use a facelift! I considered this expensive for what it was.

Exceptionally clean.
Booking stated a washing machine was available. When travelling for two months, we schedule accommodation with washing machine every 4-5 days. This caused an issue. Owner said she would do a load for the equivalent of $27 AUD. Too expensive. The room was small and very hot with no temperature controls, nearly 30°C. Had to leave a window open.

The staff was friendly and helpful and good location.
The only complaint i have would be that the water has a sulfur smell but that's probably because the geothermal stuff in the area.

Good size rooms, good friendly staff, and two hot tubs that just went perfect in the colder breeze weather

Hot Tub was perfect and staff was very friendly!

The hotel is located very idyllic in the woods. I love how you can see trees from the hot pots. The pictures don’t do it justice. They also give you bathrobes for the hot pots which is really useful. Staff is super friendly. Rooms are clean and the interior is really cozy. They even have a cute living room for the guests.
Nothing, we loved it!

Had hot tubs, but we didn't use it. I also saw a bar, and an adorable living room area upstairs. Beds were comfy, room was clean.
Everything was fine

Everything was perfect! Amazing breakfast

the room was great, quiet and spacious. Staff was very polite and welcoming. The mattress was comfortable and we were lucky enough to see the northern lights from the hot tub! amazing experience.
There is also decent warm breakfast (extra fee) and plenty of parking. We would stay again for sure!
there was some hair in the shower sink and I do understand the water comes from a natural source but the smell of sulfur is like showering in rotten eggs.
also consider a second pair of pillows as the ones provided were to soft.
