Algunos detalles poco cuidados.

Great Location, nice Staff, clean room, right in front of the beach,

Such a calm place by a beautiful beach. Staff is amazing and we loved the sweet dogs living around the place. Location is perfect in Malinao village and you only have a 10 minute scooter ride to General Luna. There is an okay restaurant right next to the hotel if you dont want to cook but stay close to the hotel.
We were there in rain season so we had SO many bugs that would get in the villa even though we kept the Doors closed. Luckily we had a mosquito net to sleep under :-)
Also if we had to mention something, the bathroom and shower are a little old.
But these are very small things and overall the place is really great!

everything outside the hotel was beautiful
insects all over the room including the bed and the sheets, dirty sheets, no fresh towels only if we asked for it, water was stinky, bed was not comfortable

The resort is situated in front of Malinao Beach, which is a great spot for a private swim when the tide is high.
The cabin we stayed in is very cozy and beautiful, with a lovely terrace that's perfect for relaxing at night (remember to use mosquito repellent!).
The location is a 10-minute motorbike ride from General Luna. Therefore, I highly recommend it for travelers who want to escape the hustle and bustle of General Luna and experience a peaceful retreat.
The staff is incredibly friendly, and the friendly dogs roaming around the place add a charming touch to the experience! :)
The water from the shower has a strange odor.
There's few noise in the early morning due to the fishing boats, as well as from the neighboring resort where they play music and some internal guests.
A place like this should have internal “rules” for guests to maintain a quiet environment, as it's a perfect spot for resting, reading, and disconnecting from the noise of the city.

Great location. Very quiet.
Careful of mosquitoes outside.

The room was very nice. The sheer curtain around the bed was pretty romantic and functional. The shared is kitchen a great bonus. And the the best was the beachfront, which was just severla steps across from the front door. The garden outside was lush and beautiful. The staff very friendly and accommodating. The room was very good value for what we paid for (2 children are free of charge)
1 - The showerhead. The spray of water was scanty.
2 - The bathwater still smells a bit funny.
3 - Very small ledge to put your bathroom necessities like soap, shampoo, loofah. They all keep falling to the floor
But the rest of the toilet and bath was clean and very spacious.

Everything.
Not a lot.

Very friendly staff and nice resort close to the ocean!
The accommodation was large - owning two floors and a nice balcony. They have lovely cute dogs. Also booked a tour vis the hotel. Easy scooter rental!
No pool avoiding the heat - but we knew it before booking.
There was a construction next to our villa from the hotel, building new furniture which started 8am every morning Very loud not able to sleep.

the beach house is fronting the malinao beach - really breathtaking. location is a very quiet place, need to travel 8km to the tourist crowd. staffs are very friendly and accommodating. - they helped me booked tours and transportation.
good point or bad point depending on who sees it, wifi to the beach houses is non existent. Globe has a better connectivity in the area.

Very nice location.
Very spacious and cozy villa Amakan.
Staff is very friendly.
Special thanks to Jeffry who helped us with every our need.
Very beautiful private day tour by boat was arranged with Dapa tours.
Resort offers a massage service provided by Tata which was one of the best we have ever got.

Villa Amakan (the apt) was really big (one studio/living room ground level and one bedroom with bathroom upper level), real 90 sqm. The view is very nice -the resort it is a garden type. The beach it is in front of cabanas, all the cabanas are literally on the beach.
Very nice beach, I was lucky to have high tide every morning and in almost every evening to swim alot (the ocean was very calm).
The staff is very kind and supportive.
The area is as quiet as iti is possible in Ph.
Was really quiet only in the night, early morning, around 6-6:30, as the high tide approaches, the fishermen get on the sea in small boats with noisy engines so you awake like in a factory :) but this it is not the resort's fault and those people have to live, And you can get cheap fresh fish from the ocean!
I hope one day even boats will get electric engines, because the noise at the beach and sea in Philippines is everywhere and is stressing even fauna.
Another minus is that the resort do not offer breakfast, but this can be solved at the near EJBliss Resort. Anyway, if you want to cook you can do in the outside kitchen (as the fresh fish squid, prawns are very cheap at the Public Market in General Luna).
Another issue is with transport- being out of city, about 3-4 km away, in the late evening, after 8,9 it is almost impossible find a transport to go in the city. From the city to resort is quite easy tho.!

The resort is in a really beautiful and quiet location. Our villa was huge and there was a drinking water dispenser included in the room.
The thing that sets this resort apart from others we have been to in Asia is the customer service and staff - they were so helpful and relaxed - it was really great to chat with them on a more personal level. We felt really welcome and genuinely managed to chill out here.
We rented a scooter at a very reasonable price and it was delivered in 15 minutes.
There is a laundry service on site which is also reasonably priced and they did a great job of getting a lot of stains out of our clothes from 2 months of travelling.
Not really an issue as we had a scooter - there aren’t any decent places to eat close to the resort. The restaurant next door is well below par. We would recommend going into General Luna to eat which is about a 10 minute ride on the bike.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay in one of the bungalows facing the beach. It was so nice being able to retreat back to our quiet and clean space, away from the busy Gen Luna area, after each day of adventuring and scootering around the island.
One other reviewer mentioned finding "rat poop" but I'm pretty sure they're talking about droppings of Tokay geckos, which are ubiquitous in the Philippines and can't be avoided, haha. Just part of the island life.
Anyway, what made our stay really exceptional was the staff, especially Jeff and Remilyn, who went above and beyond with their hospitality during our week there!
The only inconvenient thing is the lack of restaurants near the resort, but that's the price to pay for tranquility. Thankfully it's only about a 10ish minute tricycle ride to town!

This was the PERFECT location and lodging for a lovers week together.
The cottage was perfect, the bed confortable, the bathroom and shower were very nice.
Our private porch was 100 feet from the perfect, soft sandy beach and 90% of the time we were the only people on it!
The water was perfect too!
The only bad part is not staying longer!
I woud recommend not traveling to Siargao until mid-February, as it is known for its RAIN.
A motorbike is only 400p a day and is right there with helmets. It allows you to ride into town (7 minutes) and the surfing beach (Cloud 9) in 10 minutes.

The hotel area is well maintained and close to the beach. Comfortable patio. The staff is very helpful.
While the cabins are kept very clean, one must know that it is "close to nature" and the room is not completely sealed to the outside. There could be more light in the room.

magic location. great staff, great stay in general
it was flooding a bit due to a crazy crazy rain storm if 3 says, not their fault. the shower could have been cleaner, but you get that on the big jobs.

The ambiance, the peaceful surroundings and kind staff

I’ve been here before, in the big villa. this was my first time in the bungalow. it was a good size. beach is right in front but water is full of seaweed.
there was some kind of animal poop on our shelving unit. it got all over my clothes and accessories.
my last day there was mouse or rat poop on the floor of the bathroom.
I don’t blame anyone - I guess it’s just part of life in the jungle!

We spent a couple of nights at Malinao beach and loved our stay at Ferra resort. It is such a peaceful location and only 10mn by bike to the center of General Luna. The hosts were lovely and the added bonus of a few lovely dogs was great.
a lovely place to base yourself in Siargao.
Only negative is internet not great in the room but works fine by reception or kitchen area.

great location, excellent staff, beautiful, clean & comfortable rooms. great place to escape and relax
the mosquitoes here are HUGE! it would have been nice to have screen doors and screens over the bathroom windows (I was getting bitten in the bathroom). the power was out for the whole day. it would have been helpful if there were flashlights or solar lights
