Staff was friendly, location was good, near to train station only two stops to central attractions
I was charged taxes, I thought this was included on Booking.com? This didn't Hadrian in other hotels, the swimming pool and gym are not part of the hotel and need to pay extra

Very clean. The convenience store and burger shop downstairs. The bath in the fitness centre.
The step before the bathroom. I almost fell sometimes in the night.

Clean hotel in a good location. 24 hrs convenience store and free onsen. Many food choice around the area. Recommended!
No in house smoking area. But not a problem for non smokers. No other dislikes. Maybe make the swimming pool and gym free for guest would be good.

Room was great. My third stay and plan to go back again in the fall when I go to Kyoto again. Nice hotel
Wish the restaurant was opened for breakfast without needing to make advanced booking.

Near the train station with parking but expensive and you can't go to your car freely because its an elevator parking . Not convenient at all.
Just a low standard business hotel ,, no basic amenities , unlike other same level hotel , not the electric key so inconvenient and you have to left your key every time you'll go out, the parking lot is bad and expensive, thought it was included with the payment since we paid more than we saw at the time of reservation . I won't recommend it if you want to have a good stay in Kyoto. There is a lot good hotel than this place . It's basically just for sleeping and no more .

Close to metro station and little city train.
Big desk and very good office chair.
Comfortable reading chair.
Bed firm enough.
Small view of the city.
Room too small
Old useless TV
No indirect light in the room
Everything looks aged
Bathroom :
presence of black mold (check behind the panel under the sink)
old poor quality towels
mirror too low (cannot see my face)
big step to come in the bathroom (easy to stumble on it specially by night)
cheap quality of tap control (all plastic)

The room we stayed in was more spacious than other hotels of similar stars.
it had no lounge room and washing machine.

The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and convenience stores, and only a few minutes away from the train station.

accessible. Neat and Clean. overall a great place to stay.

excellent cleaning and good service.
the mattress is a little hard.

Amazing value, $45/night is unheard of for a king size room that was as big as ours was. Extremely updated and modern. Walking distance to the train station, less than 2min away. Very polite receptionists and car parking assistant, would stay again. 9/10 stars
The room key needing to be inserted into the wall for all amenities is unnecessary, but this seems to be the Japanese norm.

The hotel and location were very good. There is a gym, pool and onsen in the same building and guests can take a bath there free of charge, except Monday when the gym is closed. The restaurant has an excellent breakfast. The staff is very helpful, too.
