Belle hacienda

La ubicación era muy importante porque fuimos a un evento a dos calles.
El desayuno que sirven incluido, estuvo delicioso en sabor, variedad y presentación.
La verdad que el alojamiento fue excelente.

The location is, of course, absolutely ideal to explore Oaxaca. The staff is also wonderful, so kind and helpful and soooo patient. The bed is super comfortable and the hotel is beautiful... a great place to get back to after exploring Oaxaca. The rooms are also quite pretty. We first stayed on one with a street view but it was rather hot and my mother does not fare well with devices to cool the room, we were able to change rooms and the staff was most understanding of the situation. We really have no complaints.
We loved the place... maybe the breakfast could be a bit more robust, but this would be less convenient as there is so much great food to be eaten during the day, The room next to the street is lovely, but rather hot so if you cannot deal with air conditioning or a fan (as is the case for us), maybe select a different room.

Location, safety, grounds, property, cleanliness , yummy breakfast.
Initial stay,Noisy crowd until 1:30 am and no one monitoring.
No hot water for my three out of six day stay.
Noisy refrigerator every two hours or so.
Street noise on the weekend.

24/7 doorman, friendly staff, room stocked with snacks, coffee, toiletries, robe, electrolyte water!! love the attention to detail. Good wifi, worked remotely from here with no issues. Room was clean; mattress and linens were cloud-like, slept for hours. The location is excellent, dead in the centre and walking distance to the must-see places.
The state of the bathroom in the master suite with patio is shocking. No showerhead, bathtub peeling in multiple places, no hot water, water pressure is abysmal!!!! I've stayed in hostels and this is probably the worst bathroom I've ever encountered. Please consider enhancing the bathroom as it is a shame I have to give such a low score for an otherwise great accommodation!

The simplicity of the room was wonderful. Spacious layout. High ceilings. Very comfortable king size bed. No television which was great as there is so much beauty and culture to experience outside your room. The garden oasis is beautiful . Private and secure location . The location is perfect and close to all the main attractions and restaurants.....Staff are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

The staff went out of their way to be flexible and helpful. The location was great and the guest house itself was beautiful.
1) I had to be outside my room / in the common spaces for the wifi to work.
2) There was no AC and my room (#3) didn't open on to a courtyard or place with airflow. When I walked into my room after a day out, it was noticeably and uncomfortably warmer than the hallway. There was a ceiling fan and a standing fan and that made things tolerable but I had to run them all night. Sometimes I woke up sweating (and not from menopause! :-). I got one of the least expensive rooms but since the place was almost empty, I was surprised they didn't put me in a room with better ventilation given the temperatures.
3) There was a different breakfast served each day. It was good but was not available before 8:30AM. Most day trips and tours started at 8:30 so several mornings I had to miss breakfast. One day they provided a sack lunch which was lovely but they made it clear this was a one day exception.
4) There was no automatic way into the guest house. Staff had to always be near the door to let people in or out. They were always available and quick to respond to the doorbell but I felt bad for the inconvenience to staff.

The location, staff, breakfast, and house were great.
The lack of air conditioning and noise from the street. Our room faced the street and we had to keep the doors open because the room did not have air conditioning. I slept with noise cancelling headphones for two nights.

Staff and facility was excellant
Barking dog!!!!!!!!

Lovely garden area and amazing location with friendly staff
Value for money was fine but not fantastic, and the private bathroom for our room was effectively outside (the other side of our private mini-courtyard), which was a slight shame
4.1
Comfortable bed and good location
My first room had no window, that's not the best option for me.
4.1
Location, breakfast available, beautiful peaceful outdoor courtyard with seating, generous room size, more than enough space for three lots of luggage, had a small bar fridge with refreshments to purchase. We stayed 3 nights. Lovely welcoming helpful staff. Gate is locked 24/7 and staff let you in and out. Stairs only to rooms.
This property didn’t meet value for money overall.
No filtered water in room on arrival. We found some downstairs.
No in room coffee/tea/ hot water facilities in room/offered.
Second day the bathroom smelt very bad, we could not use and had to keep door shut. The guesthouse remedied this by the time we got back at end of day.
If you have longer thicker hair, our shower was not an option to wash it. More of a gentle spray nozzle.

THE LOCATION AND CLEANLINESS IS GREAT
THE ROOMS MUST HAVE AIR CONDITIONING AND MANY OF THE ROOMS DIDN'T HAVE ANY WINDOWS, ONE OF OUR ROOMS WE STAYED IN DIDN'T HAVE EITHER OF THEM AND IT WAS REALLY HOT IN THE EVENING.

- Perfect location in the heart of Oaxaca Centro.
- 24/7 reception, very secure.
- Clean amenities

Nice location.
Cleant rooms.
Nice patio and rooftop.
Tiny room.
Bed is barely a double, very uncomfortable for a couple.
Half the door is in some mat glass so the light from the corridor comes in. Switched the light off at night but it was put back on every time so the room is half lit + you can see shadows when people pass.
Very poor noise insulation so you can hear a lot of noise.
No window on the room so felt like I was suffocating.

The room was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean. The room matched the pictures. Lovely linens on the bed.
In our 3 night stay, there was no hot water...at all!! We told the staff multiple times, were told to let the shower run for a long time etc etc....zero hot water. Also, even if there was hot water, the shower was just a mist, not a spray. So we had to do hair washing in cold water in the sink, and a 'sponge bath' in cold water in the sink. For 3 days! There were others in the hotel who had the same problem. Unacceptable.
There was no heat in the breakfast areas so it was actually freezing cold. Everyone in winter jackets.

the location was the only good thing about this property!
- tiny room
- extremely basic amenities
- broken and dirty shower
- disgusting and very very small breakfast
- no information at all about the room, hotel o the city and events on check in
- receptionist is useless - just a key barer
- walls are thin as hell
- doors are made of metal and extremely noisy

Lovely little secret place, very calm and peaceful with amazing staff. Communication in English works just well enough. Amazing location.
Everything was great, nothing not to like.

Beautiful garden. Clean rooms. Charming property

The location was excellent; most places of interest, nice neighborhoods, restaurants are within minutes of walking. Rooftop room was quiet, hot water was plenty, bed was comfy.
Breakfast was good rotates offering theough the week, but it is a little sugar-and-starch heavy with French toast, pancakes, beans etc. They do offer fresh OJ, coffee with refills, and scrambled eggs with ham with toast and jam, some assorted sliced fruit on the French toast.
Staff is very nice and efficient. They also helped getting the luggage upstairs and back down without elevator.
It took a bit of time to cool the room with two fans that were quite loud.
The industrial look was taken a bit too far to the shabby side for my taste with the bathroom sink and shower area.
4.1
Great grounds and a great breakfast. the room was large as well and nicely decorated.
the hot water in the shower was a constant issue and the floor of the bathroom kept flooding.
4.1
the location and good security. we felt safe and well attended to. the staff is great!!
the noise. we heard a dog barking all morning all three days and loud music from a nearby area
4.1
The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included and very delicious. Also, the room is spacious and the garden is beautiful.
The bed isn't very comfortable. It might be okay if only for one night, but we stayed for a week. It is definitely something the hotel should consider upgrading.
