Great location

Very loud environment, we had builders sort of noises for 3 nights in a row and there is no windows giving on the "outside world" in none of the rooms, you can basically hear people and cleaners coming and going, and you have to keep your curtains down so they won't see you. Breakfast is very minimal, no buffet or self service.

Location was great. Everything was walking distance. Room was clean and very comfortable. Service was excellent.
I took a day tour thru your tour desk. They were very efficient and made booking very easy.
Coffee could have been better, stronger

The location was right in the center of the sights, close to everywhere and within walking distance.
The hotel staff was very nice and answered any question or problem we had.
The receptionist spoke a little English and that was very helpful.
The room was a bit small

Location
Pillows are too tall and hard, too many weird stairts..no elevator
8.0
Breakfast was ok, no variety from day to day. The location is super. So close to everything:zocolo, restaurants, etc.
We didn’t like the step up into the bathroom and step down to the exit door. It was marked, but not well at night. The stairs need to be lit better. The elevator wasn’t working, and the stairs are not well lit until night

friendly staff, good location
very noisy when people were in the dining room, or coming through the downstairs, poor lighting in rooms. my son had a single room and his room was in the very back and like a dungeon .

The location is excellent, everything is within walking distance. Tons of amazing food, galleries, bars, botanical gardens, large market, shopping. Staff are helpful. We had a room with juliette balcony over-looking the street - I highly recommend splurging a bit more to get these rooms; bright, airy and comfortable. Other rooms have windows looking into the hallways, so no natural light, kinda fishbowl-y.
The free breakfast is limited. We stayed for a week over Day of the Dead 2022 and we didn’t stay on premise to eat once. They do have wifi but was challenging to work after 9am as it became quite slow. I personally like nosy streets but if you’re around the area during a festival and a light sleeper this could be an issue for you.

The location is very good, walking distance from the center and the main attractions
There is no parking in the hotel, you have to leave your car with the valet parking at an extra cost of $200 pesos, I didn’t see this anywhere in the booking page or any description so it would be good to describe this just to be aware.

I loved the location of this hotel. It is central to all the main sites of beautiful Oaxaca. It is located in the historical center of the city, and one can safely walk everywhere. The staff was extremely courteous and so helpful! I messaged this hotel at the time of booking to request a view and/or a balcony. I was surprised to receive an immediate response from Marco Antonio the following day. He was very helpful and able to reserve a room with a balcony for my stay for a small difference. This large room with so much sunlight from our balcony made a huge difference! I also appreciated the breakfast included in our stay. It made it so convenient especially when we had early tours scheduled. I want to also thank Karina, Lisbeth, and Osvaldo. Osvaldo was exceptional and went out of his way to assist us.
I wish our traveling friends would have had a balcony room for their entire stay. But, I do understand that the balcony rooms are limited and should be requested as soon as possible. And I do thank you, for finding a balcony room for them for 3 nights! Gracias:)

It was a solid hotel nothing unique in particular.
For the price I could have went with other hotels with far more conveniences.

Construction noise
8.0
The staff was super friendly and because there was construction going on in the main entrance area, assuming my room was downstairs previously, they upgraded me to a room with a king-size bed.
Unfortunately, when I was there, they were tearing up the tile in the lobby which I didn't know was going to be happening till I got there. Thankfully they didn't start too the work too early though - that would have really been a major bummer.
It was kind of a mess to walk through and honestly, it seems like it would have made sense to close the hotel for a few days for that to be finished, at least the messiest part of it. They did keep the area pretty well swept up after they did the construction work but it was sometimes not easy to get through due to the heavy construction and loud equipment. Having said that, all those doing the work were very accomodating.

Beautiful room, perfect location, super comfortable bed, very clean. Sadly the room only had a window into the hallway and was right next to the elevator, but i guess we got one of the last rooms available. Would stay there again – if i'd get a room with daylight ;)
Room didn't have daylight. Window was out to the hallway next to the elevator.
