Excellent location, clean and good for one night
The bedroom was cold at night and there was no extra bedding

Echt widerlich.

Friendly and helpful staff. Shops and cafes nearby.
Shabby, not very clean (mold in the shower), poor noise insulation (both inside and outside), when they started preparing breakfast at 6.30am downstairs, I'd wake up from a very strong smell of frying meat in my room on the 3rd floor. Though check-out was at 11am, they started cleaning my room at 10.45am while my belongings were still in there and I was out which I did not find nice.

Right next to Byers road, the area we needed to be in. Plus free car parking directly outside the hotel for the whole weekend. Not sure if people realise that. I didn’t, but the staff told me.
Nothing. It did what it said on the tin

The hotel was in a great locations with fabulous connections to public transport and walking distance from the university. The staff were friendly and very accommodating.
The bed in my room had a mattress so thin that every ridge of the box spring underneath could be felt. The wooden side supports of the box spring dug into my arms and I woke up several times in the night physically aching from sleeping on such a hard surface. This paired with rock hard pillows made getting to sleep and then staying asleep challenging. Additionally, the building has no lift. This would be fine in if I was on a lower floor but being on the third floor with a large suitcase made getting to my room a daunting process. When I arrived a member of staff kindly carried my suitcase up but brought my bags down myself when I left and this was no small feat. The bathroom was very basic and very small which made getting in and out of the shower an art form. Additionally the shower head was cracked and spurted water at weird angles. Overall I was sorely disappointed by my stay.

Breakfast was good
Though the breakfast was good it was the same every morning, for guest who stay for more than 1 day it becomes repetitive, can add some choice in egg, Coffee served was not hot.

Great location in the west end area. Quite and safe. Great services in my room: hairdryer, walk-in closet, huge athroom and large windows.
Maybe a spare blanket in the closet?

Not much! I've used Booking.com several times but this is my first"poor" review. We had a triple room for two nights. It barely held the double snd single bed. There was no room to move in the room. There was mould in the tiny bathroom that had no exhaust fan and som mould also around the bedroom window. The cost of the room for 2 nights was more than 500 pounds. No parking at the property; no assistance with luggage.
The breakfast was good!!
See above.

The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was nice. Close to public transport which made accessing the city very easy.
The family room was ok, however the basic double room was very small and the toilet and bathroom could barely fit one person in (couldn’t shut the door while on the toilet as our legs were too long!). The bathrooms were filthy with mould and the beds were lumpy and uncomfortable.

location
Bathroom was a box in the bedroom whose exhaust blew out into the bedroom, all the smells and steam and foul dust balls.
Dirty breakfast serving area.
Black pudding in bain marie looked like it had been reheated for a number of days - bits of it were so hard you couldn't break them up with the fork.
The door lock catch was broken and the door frame split so a small push could have broken the frame.
All the bath towels were small and badly frayed.

Was looking for a budget room near the university and this was ideal. Good location with shops and eateries close by. Room comfy and staff friendly.
Nothing bad to say, room was small but had all facilities and perfectly fine for limited stay.

The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was in a great location for the event we were attending at Glasgow University. Also close to the Botanic Gardens and Byres Road.
Nothing.

Very convenient location and it had what I needed.
Carpets and window ledges could have been cleaner.

The location was great for us as it was 5 mins from the party venue. Breakfast was lovely buffet style in a nice room
The road works meant we had to park 15 mins away!!

Nice room, clean and cosy, big bathroom, kettle, tea/coffee was available in the room. Staff were helpful. Nice cooked breakfast. Great location, only a few minutes away from the botanical gardens.
Was not a huge fan of the milky-tasting scrambled eggs (perhaps a matter of taste) but everything else was great.

Location was excellent.
I would not recommend this hotel at all. The staff were unclean as were rooms. First room we got stunk of smoke and dampness. Bathroom was not clean with I flushed toilet and filthy shower. The walls had dampness all over. Old beds and hard pillows. We got our room changed and it was a bit cleaner though bathroom unclean! Hotel is in dire need of refurbishment and staff that actually want to be there! These owners should not be in the business of hospitality. We paid £108 for one night in a bedroom that was not a good experience! Staff were not professional or attentive and dressed shabby! We thought one member of staff was just out of shower with wet hair…nope her hair was full of grease and not tied up dealing with breakfast!

Location is good and practical for me. Staff is quite helpful. One morning the breakfast potatoe scones were really good and crispy.
Room are not well thought. Bathroom was tiny! Sitting on the toilet at an angle to not hit the sink with my knee and I'm just 1.65m tall. Couldn't open the wardrobe completely as door was banging on the bed...cleanliness can be better shower had hairs when I took the room and my room.wasnt cleaned between the 2 nights I stayed. Curtain s very hard to pull. Emergency light very bright no way to have a bit of darkness for a decent night sleep. Vent in bathroom really really on loud ended up not returning on the light to not have such loud vent noise when using toilet. Corridors noisy very late around midnight awakened by people laughing up the stairs and chatting. Second morning potato scones were soggy. I only paid 97 for 2 nights so that's was kind of ok. But I wouldn't pay more to stay here.
