Fine for a short stay in Amsterdam

The property was in a quiet area, walking distance to all central points in Amsterdam. The bed was large and comfortable. Daily housekeeping was great and the host was very nice.

The bathroom was very, very small (especially the shower) and quite old/ rundown. There was also no door on the bathroom, which opened straight into the kitchen.

A great place to stay to be active and enjoy all Amsterdam has to offer

Our room was spacious, we had our own kitchen area, it was quiet at night, central Amsterdam was only a 10 minute walk away, there was a nice patio area to take advantage of.

Sometimes you could hear the dance classes happening in the studio behind the room and there was no milk for tea and coffee

We would happily stay here again

We loved the quiet position on a canal but with shops bars etc very local. It was within a 15 - 20 minute pleasant walk of the heart of Amsterdam and similar to the Reijsmusem. Anne Franks House was close by. The place was huge comfy and well equipped. The bed was comfy and the bathroom big. The owner was very helpful and flexible. The bus from the airport dropped us very close to the property.

The stairs were very steep. Getting a big suitcase up there would be daunting. There is no view from the flat or outside area.

we were a bit shocked that the room was tiny and the area we thought to make tea or coffee was tiny - it was a dark corn

bathroom spacious and clean Beds and linen good quality and clean

No view other than a walkway / patio / wall

a quiet, clean, comfy base to explore Amsterdam.

Quiet room over courtyard, close to all amenities, comfy with excellent shower and kitchenette. Clean and great as a base for exploring the city, easy communication.

Exceptional

The accommodation was lovely and spacious, the perfect base to relax and recharge for a few days. With everything you needed. The bus station is opposite with tram stops a couple of mins away as well made it easy to navigate further afield as well as walking.

The Apartment was in a great location and very spacious

I couldn't see any smoke detectors in apartment or on way up the stairs.. There was a carbon monoxide one in stair way but dont think that's to much good in a fire....

Excellent location and very easy to get to from the airport using the 397 bus

The apartment was perfectly placed with everywhere we wanted to go within walking distance. Although it was quite small it was well thought out and had everything we needed

Location was excellent - right near a big bus station which Barbara informed us about and which meant we could bus in from the airport virtually to the doorstep. This on its own was a HUGE bonus and reason enough to stay there again! Also loved that there was a bath.

Slightly elaborate door and key system entering and exiting but nothing serious. The downstairs room was a little dark.

fun weekend, with a stay in our own little apartment in the city

location location location……fantastic. it also felt like we were living in our own place in Amsterdam as it was part of a traditional house. A very Authentic feel.

Because it's at the back of the house, squeezed in between two other houses, there's zero views. It's also a bit out of the way for transportation, although Amsterdam is small enough that it's 10-15min away on foot from all the main sights. People with mobility issues should NOT book it, as it's up 2 extremely steep flights of stairs (typical of Dutch canal houses).

Large apartment, huge living room and a spacious bedroom. Fully equipped kitchen. Gorgeous large bathroom with a shower and a separate bathtub. Very quiet and peaceful.
