Everything. Beautiful Paradise. BEACH front and very comfortable and clean. Amazing food.

Muss man mögen.

I liked that the beach was right in front of the property as well as 2 restaurants on the property along with the quietness.

The location and the food
Too much refurbishment work during our stay

Beach front location, great installations and service. Amazing gardens and lots of lounging options. It’s the perfect place to relax if you’re not looking to go anywhere. Dinner and breakfast are really good
The road needs improvement. Pool bar needs more staff

The staff was awesome. The pool wass great. Lunch was awesome. My Bungalow was awesome. I love the hammock. All was as it was described. My Shuttle Drivers were awesome.
I didn't like how far out it was from everything. I wish I was able to do more local things, see the people and eat more local cuisines. There is nowhere to walk to grab something to eat or go to a local store to grab anything . You pay a shuttle and sight see and go the store. Breakfast lunch and dinner is all done on property if you don't leave . I wish they would have had more local cuisine at night. I wish the beach was a little bit calmer. The private beach had hard waves and the pull when the water went back out to sea was strong. You could see the black sand in the waves as it comes n go. As i was splashing myself with the water I thought a crab fell on me. Nope, it was a plastic piece from the from the thing that holds the oil you put in your car. My bungalow was towards the back of the property by a street with an opening in the fence to walk right up to the Bungalow and on to the property. So at night I felt unsafe because it was Pitch Black in that area at night. I barricaded myself in at night because I didn't feel safe. And left my porch light on. And my front door didn't close all the way at the top . I felt like if somebody wanted to get in all they had to do was ram the door hard enough . The door upstairs going to the balcony was a Better Door than the door downstairs . Walking to dinner at night I didn't feel safe I felt like the property didn't have enough lights. You couldn't go sit out on the lawn chairs at night and enjoy the ocean waves because it was Pitch Black out there. The pool closes at 9:00 but there were no lights on at the pool or in the area. So at 7:00 p.m. when it got dark you couldn't even enjoy the pool after dinner. I would have loved to do a little Night Swimming. The main picture you see two Bungalow. Well on the right you see how dark it is. Now imagine the blue ski gone and filled with darkness. Scary.

The garden is amazing, staff is very friendly, they upgraded our room for free.
The breakfast was nice, but only one drink and meal was included, coffee, tea or juice, not all, either fruit or meal, they charged extra for additional.
The last 22kms to the hotel is in offroad condition, hovewer the property is beautiful.

We booked the full Villa which was very comfortable. The pool was clean and perfect temperature although could use some tile repair. Restaurant was really good - staff warm & friendly. Beach great for walking. Some mention of rip tides although we didn't see any indication.
It is quite a long (1 1/2 hr) drive from Liberia airport and the last third on bumpy sometimes dusty gravel roads. There are no other restaurants or stores within walking distance so we did not leave the resort as we had not rented a car. Ride to/from the Liberia airport to the hotel is about $160 USD one way. We wanted a quiet, uncrowded relaxing experience and this was just right for us.

Traveled from Phila, PA with my older sister to visit my brother and his family who bought land to build upon. They are renting.
The resort was not at all crowed during our stay and was beautiful in all aspects of our visit. Several pictures to compliment this write up. My sister stayed in an upper floor and I was on the lower. View of the ocean was gorgeous. Food was excellent and the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. This place is a Diamond in the Rough.
The Roads !
4.0
Spacious rooms views.
Very quiet atmosphere.
Gorgeous untouched beach.
Beach is not swimmable.
Isolated location- nothing walking distance.
Difficult drive - unpaved road
Food was over priced and not variety food.
Over priced cottage .

Eat more ceviche! The rooms are great, the restaurant is good, and the pool is clean and in good condition. Best of all was the ocean view from our room (upstairs, on the south side). The photos on the website and the travel apps are very representative.
Reminder to travelers who haven't been in the boonies of Central America - the highway from Junquillal is mostly dirt and gravel. Put up with it, or find another place.
The hotel infrastructure is showing its age, and needs some attention: broken sidewalks, inoperable ceiling fans in public areas. Room bathroom has sewer smells occasionally. Room wifi is spotty at best; public area wifi is good. Claro has little coverage here; use Kobli instead.
3.0
The hotel location and grounds were fabuloius.
View excellent as were the sunsets
Dinner was good and quality was acceptable
Recommend going to the Tiki Hut which is on the beach 15 mins drive in Marbella. Good food and drinks at sensible prices.
Great staff (except concierge), which was a saving grace. Arianna in particular was attentive, chatty and always jolly.
The owners need a wake-up call and stop being so overtly miserly. For a premium hotel this is embarrassing and puts it squarely in 3 star territory.
My wife and I had to take our own heavy luggage quite a distance to the room and up the hill while the concierge led all the way to the door not helping once.
No kettle, only a coffee perculator and one coffee bag per day.
Safe was broken
No hot water in the wash basin ... mentioned it but wasnt fixed.
Breakfast was ridiculous as we were restricted to one item from the top half of a restricted menu. We could select off the second half for an extra $5 per head for items that were similarly priced to the included breakfast items (see photo).
Tired apartment which was in need of refurbishment
There was no complimentary mineral water, so we had to go out to buy our own rather than pay their extortionate prices.
To get there, the last 23 kms of unmade road really required a 4x4 and especially if you wanted to go to Nosara as you need to traverse a ford.
Gym was reasonable but equipment needs to be checked as excercise balls were underinflated and no use.
A torch required as the outside lighting was poor and some key lights didnt work at night which meant there were trip hazards from the unlit steps.
TV location was in the bedroom not the sitting room area.
Full length mirror would be useful
No cushions on sunbeds at the pool
Jacuzzi nice and warm but only half the jets working
Overall the place needs money spending on it
4.5
The hotel itself is really nice in a very quiet area. To get to the hotel, the road is really bumpy, you have to drive very slowly. The breakfast is nice.
You have the pay extra 5 Dollars if you choose for example Eggs Benedict to eat. You have like 3-4 options that is included in the price. I do not see why they need to charge you for another choice. If you go here for a beach, I suggest you choose a nicer area.

Villa was great and comfortable
Not enough staff, location felt desolate and boring

food was not good and very expensive

Location, close to beautiful beaches like San Juanillo and Pithaya. Our room was super clean and the bed was comfy. This hotel is perfect to chill and relax.
The restaurant is good but extremely over priced. I feel the hotel takes advantage of its location to charge sky high prices since there are no restaurants nearby.

the style of the bedrooms
the beach, it was dark and there were no beach to lay out; there was a waiter at the restaurant blue 47 very rude the worst service, and, the hotel charges all they can, for example the breakfast yo can only take one drink or juice or coffee you can not take both, it is not so tasty and it is very little, the other food you can it is not included in the rate and is very expensive, so I must go outside to any store to buy yogurt or fruits

The beach in front of the hotel is nice to look at.
Power and water outage on our first night. There was no light. We were alone in the resort with another couple. No help or support when the outage happened. The lights were coming back once/hour which resulted in us not even being able to sleep let alone communicate with anyone outside the resort.
The resort was isolated. Very far from everything and very difficult to access by road.
The room was much smaller than advertised.
The experience was so terrible that we had to leave after our first night although we paid for almost a week.
They did not want to offer any kind of refund.

The rooms, the pool, the food, and the staff were fabulous. The beach access is a little 'rough' as the waves were strong. We'll definitely go back.
The only thing discouraging was the 'private beach' available. VERY strong waves and rip currents. Otherwise the place was amazing.
