Location was great and so was design
It was a little rundown and could use some remodeling

High ceilings
Room design from the 80s. Horrible design and cumbersome to take a bad without marking a water mess.
Arrogant receptionist and bad service.
Pool very small and always full. Too pricy for what you get.

good location and most of the staff are friendly.
pool is really small and is more of a dipping pool. all the pool furniture is run down and looked a bit dirty.

Beautifully designed hotel space! Excellent staff, food was delicious, drinks were good!
Nothing, really. The room's balcony was really close to the window of the other room, so a lack of privacy. But I would totally stay here again!

The hotel is beautiful, with lovely design everywhere you look. The staff was very accommodating and kind. My room was clean, quiet, and cool.
The hotel does seem a bit overpriced given the market. Competitor hotels are less expensive.

beautiful design and grounds. friendly staff but not always the most attentive. breakfast on the terrace and happy hour by the pool were the best parts of the day. Zenguele coffee shop off of lobby made an exquisite cappuccino.

The sauna was nice and hot. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The different seating areas were nice and the view from the rooftop was great. The stain glass box for the bathroom was pretty cool and beautiful. The morning breakfast crew on Easter was fantastic!
Safety: shower had no mat or abrasive foot strips so that no slipping would occur on the marble, slippery floor, and no grab bars to catch a fall, around the toilet it appeared as though the marble like substance was discolored yellow and the area rug around the bed was a tripping hazard because it had some ripples along the edge, rather than lying flat. (It was a beautiful rug, though.) There was no attendant checking in on me while the spa was "open" when I took a sauna, I liked being left alone to enjoy it, but again, I didn't see any safety features like a call button or telephone near the sauna. (but LOVED the sauna!)
Ambience: The concrete flooring and box like room made it feel cold and uninviting. Along the walls, there was one tiny little picture on the wall that looked like someone put a coat of paint on a canvas and then cut out a picture in a magazine and cut it in half and glued it on the left and right of the canvas.
Value: This was a high room with a "good view," but all I looked at was a red brick building...that is not a view.
Miscommunication: One of the nighttime front desk staff had difficulties communicating with me-couldn't figure out my question about ordering a taxi or asking for the sauna to be turned on.

Nada. I absolutely adored everything about Casa Habita.

The staff in general was kind and the front desk was excellent.
The hotel had a major event on Saturday evening on the 1st floor. We should have been notified ahead of time regarding this event. My frustration was the service in general... Thursday a little passed 5pm I ordered a cocktail and a soup by the pool. The soup was delivered at 7:20pm. I waited at least 1.5 hours for the soup and the first drink took about 15-20 min to arrive. Saturday no one would take drink orders poolside. I had to go to the bar, placed an order and stood there for a long time until I decided to leave. It was so bad that a young lady behind the bar (she was working the large event) noticed, she ran caught up to me and asked if I got my round of drinks - told her no and canceled my order. Sunday morning, I had a 6:30am flight back home. I decided to order room service and stay in since I had an early flight. I was informed NO room service until 9pm because of the large event. If a letter was left in my room, prior to this event, to inform me that would have helped.

stylish, cool atmosphere, fully equipped hotel and rooms in a great location. Abraham, Diego (restaurant) and Rosie are great.
Front desk staff are not very interested in providing the right info. upon checking in, they did not offer to explain the hotel facilities (gym, spa), so we had to go to our room and check the hotel manual to learn that, for example, the hotel had an on-site gym and even a gym pass for a larger, better equipped offsite commercial gym. the hotel has cool events (such as craft beer tasting evenings) which one has to enquire about as front desk staff have no interest in mentioning, let alone have the right information on the cost and times.
room 405 had a poorly working A/C and a leaking shower, which should be checked by maintenance. Ixel could be better trained to properly welcome guests upon checking in.

the hotel was gorgeous but the staff we're totally inept
they put my clothes in the wrong room
I couldn't find my garments
then they tried to charge me for an extra night because I did "late checkout"
they took over an hour to get my car - it was parked literally outside the hotel
the staff
the front desk staff are horrendously bad, it's like they are asleep
90% of the stay they we're missing from the front desk and I had to go walk around the hotel looking for help
i missed an event because they misplaced my car keys

Nice classical building in a leafy street in Guadalajara.
Super pleasant check in experience, very proactive bell boy who stepped onto the street to grab our bags and parked our car. Our room was ready, we got welcome cocktails all in 10mn.
Sleek design, lush toiletries.
Room service prices are very reasonable, compared to similar category hotels, so that was a pleasant surprise. (we did not get time to try it though as it was an express visit)
All the staff was super nice
Not the hotel's fault but awful loud music was blasting till 5am. We were on the 6th floor and it woke us up. A real pain point for the hotel, they do call the police all the time, who come and get them to lower the volume but as soon as they go they start again. It was a saturday night so hopefully in the week you can get a nice restful sleep!
