Je conseille vivement. Très bon rapport qualité / prix .

Accueil très chaleureux. Homestay très propre. Putri fait tout son possible pour agrémenter notre séjour ! Attentionnée et au petit soin avec ses clients. Petit dej et dîner à la demande très bons. Location scooter sur place et emplacement idéal !

Super lieu au calme avec jardin et terrasse, eau chaude avec pression, chambre et s’en propres, lit très confortable, draps blanc impeccables, ventilateur si besoin mais les températures sont moins chaudes la nuit, location de scooter sur place, bon petit déjeuner avec fruits et pâtisseries maison thé et café à volonté, très bon accueil , merci. Wifi très bien

Il manquait une fontaine d’eau pour remplir sa gourde, c’est la seule chose qui m’a manqué

Don't miss out on this place

The room was spacious, bed was comfortable, and the private bathroom is clean. You can also rent a motorbike on site The owners of this place is very lovely! Very responsive and will give you suggestions on where to go, as well as answer any questions you may have about the place or their culture. I could just easily walk over to their house and strike up a chat. You can also do a programme with the owner to learn how to create offerings and at the end they will take you to their temple for meditation - all of this is explained to you in great detail. Amazing experience. Would definitely visit this place again !! This area is sooooo beautiful

L’emplacement est parfait, on y dors incroyablement bien L’hôte est très gentille, elle m’as emmener en scooter découvrir les environs et est de très bon conseils

Pas d’eau chaude malheureusement, la propreté de la salle de bain laisse à désirer

Je recommande à ceux qui cherchent de l’authenticité

La gentillesse de la propriétaire, j’ai adoré passer du temps avec elle, elle m’a servie un repas qu’on a mangé ensemble, m’a proposée un cours pour réaliser des offrandes et une méditation. Tellement authentique et enrichissant

Quelle belle découverte!! Chambre simple, propre et au calme avec joli terrasse pour prendre le petit déjeuner qui est délicieux, servie par la maman de Putri. Belle nature, à 5 min à pieds des rizières, et du petit marché local du matin.l, ainsi que du village. Possibilité de prendre les repas du soir au guesthouse. J'ai fais excursions avec Putri et honnêtement j'ai vécu une expérience incroyable!!! Une femme hors du commun. Je recommande à 100%!!

Rien, sauf manque de crochet dans la chambre pour vêtements et serviettes.

Okay but not coasy

Puturi helped when I asked. She handed me some toilet paper, extra breakfast and a driver to Amed. There is nice walks in Sidemen.

Puturi is the only one speaking English and she has been there only by night. Calling and texting did not work so I was a little bit lost in terms of check in and organise trips. She didn't want to help me with gojek and grab in order to sell a driver. I had to ask for toilet paper and for more breakfast. You are on your own because there is only two rooms in total. There is construction work going on from 9 to 6 because she wants to rent 2 more rooms beginning in August 2024. The hand soap was smelling like washing detergent solved in lots of water, the dispenser for the soap was stuck sometimes, the toilet brush was laying on the ground, the place wasn't dirty but a little run down. I had better deals for 10 € / night. It's okay but it's not coasy.

Calm and quiet. The courtyard was very peaceful. The 3 ducks walking around were great. Breakfast basic but nice

Zentrale Lage, Restaurants fußläufig erreichbar, liebevolle Familie, wunderschöner Garten, Zimmer war simple aber völlig ausreichend, sauber, wir haben uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt, tolle Aussicht auf die Berge

Very worth for the price

It’s a small homestay in a lovely typical Balinese house. The room is pretty basic but it has a sitting area in an amazing garden rich with flowers and colors. The lady running it also offers good food for good price. I ended up extending my stay!

Exceptional

It’s a small guest house with only 2 rooms. It located just few meters from the local market. Potery the host took me to the market and explained about local ingredients for cooking. I even had cookin class with her. She organized for me a tour to old village and when i came back late one night when no restaurant was open, she made for me dinner. The place is simple, very clean. It was a nice stay.

Very nice homestay in a quiet and beautiful place

I had an amazing short-stay here. The room is spacious and clean. There is a terrace with a view on the garden which is fulfilled of beautiful flowers! Putri, the owner, is very friendly; I had a very warm welcome from the very first day. Also, the breakfast is very good (specialities from Bali, fruits, coffee and tea) ! Thank you again Putri :)

Recommend for one/two night stand.

Sidemen in general is a very good place to go on trips. Besakih temple is quite close, Sidemen rice fields, waterfalls. It is also a good place to experience village and rural life of Bali. The bed and bedsheets were clean, which is very imporatnt and I appreciate it a lot. Locals did not speak English, so it made the arrangements a bit difficult, but they were very helpfull, kind and friendly. Breakfast in the morning was nice - fruit plate, hot water (tea/coffee), and some small local pastery.

The bathroom was a bit smelly and there was nowhere to put my bathroom stuff. Sink is very small. Walls and the facility in general is a bit worn out.

Amazing stay in Hause Market

My stay in Hause Market was perfect ! Putri and her husband are super friendly and helpful. Putri showed me the rices terraces and the culture of Sidemen, it was a really good moment. She explained me a lot of things of the culture of the village, bought for me some pineapple to taste and showed me in her family the way to make Sarung (the local clothing). The bed is very confortable and the Balinese breakfast was really tasty ! Superb stay :))

Wonderful homestay

I stayed in 3 different places in Sidemen. This was my favourite one! 👌 - The owners Putri and Dewa, and their family, are very welcoming and superfriendly. There's a warm homestay feel. - Very quiet location. A lot of privacy. - A cosy, soft bed 😴 - The room is spacious and clean. - There are 2 rooms with an outside sitting area, which looks out on a beautiful garden. - A tasty, sweet breakfast with fruit, coffee and tea. - Sidemen itself is very beautiful (hilly, view on Mt. Agung, rice fields ...). - My most favourite restaurant in Sidemen is 'Warung Makan Dwijayanti' (4 km from the homestay). They serve the best food and the views there are amazing!

Good value for the price

The family hosts were super nice and showed us the hand weaving, the garden is so beautiful with so many fruit trees.

The room wasn't in the best condition but it was clean and the bed was comfy. (Just keep in mind that it's an old-ish room)

Fabulous

3 nights i stayed at this gorgeous place in this gorgeous town. The House market has 2 nice rooms in a amazing garden full of colours. There is a lot of peace. The house market is in the main street of Sideman where you can go to the market or see the weaving experience. At the place it self you can rent a scooter, do a cooking class and enjoy the sweet breakfast. Its also close to the nature so you can take a gorgeous walk if you want to and eat some balinese meals at the amazing nearby warungs! The people are really sweet and i had the best shower in times. I definitely recommend staying here :)

Authentic Bali feels

If your'e looking to immerse yourself in real balinese life, then this place is ideal! A quiet spot away from the crowds. Gusti, the host, spent an afternoon teaching me how to make the little offering baskets and gave me balinese coffee and sumping, a local type of sweet treat/cake. She also offered to show me round - go and see the rice paddies. Breakfast was traditional - tapioca, dragon fruit, banana fritters and fresh bali coffee although i think other options were available. These will be some of my most treasured bali memories!

The room was a bit shabby - peeling paint and an electric socket hanging loose. 1 or 2 windows didnt close which banged in the wind at night and i didnt leave any valuables whilst i was out during the day. Managed to wedge it closed with a bit of folded paper to stop it banging.

A peaceful and beautiful stay with the kindest hosts

Hause Market was a beautiful solitude away from Ubud. The room was simple, clean and comfortable. The accommodation includes a porch overlooking a garden, which was wonderful for morning breakfasts. Putri and her family were amazing hosts and were so hospitable. They picked me up from Ubud, gave me a tour of the rice fields, taught me how to make offerings and helped me rent a motorbike. I felt so taken care of. I would highly recommend this place and I hope to come back and visit!

Will try again if things are being sorted

The hospitality of Putri and her husband is really nice, i have to comeback at the end of may and will definitely try again as they are really nice people, they probably do not realise that for the price of a couple of nights at their place, you can stay a whole week in Amed in a nicer room, and just come to Sidemen for a day trip.

I sent a direct message to tell Putri all that was wrong not really keen to put it up there as i am the owner of few small businesses myself i understand how a bad review can affect your business but as a traveler myself and felt a bit ripped off i had to leave a note. Keep in mind that the description on booking does not reflect what you are getting neither breakfast, i only spent a night when i paid for 5 and told Putri to keep the money to fix everything and update the description on booking.com

Superb

The location was great - right in the middle of the town. The family who own it were lovely, were quick to fix an issue with the water pressure when it occurred and rented me a scooter for a good price. They also offered a very cheap transfer to my next location. Would definitely recommend for solo travellers wanting to get a real experience of Sideman.
