Furnished for comfort with all the luxuries and amenities you want in a family vacation, enjoy Mammoth at our mountain inspired town home.

Comfy beds, pillows, linens, and flat screen TVs furnish bedrooms. No sagging mattresses; no squeaky box springs. With brand new heaters, digital thermostats, humidifiers and plenty of blankets, you'll feel extra cozy even on cold dry evenings. Feel the open space and natural beauty of the Sierras as each bedroom has the views of Mammoth -- trees and mountains -- not the neighbors or a parking lot like many rentals. There is even a brand new queen sleeping sofa that promises a good night's rest. Three updated spa like bathrooms offer plenty of privacy and a new extra large water heater ensures plenty of relaxing hot showers.

Enjoy relaxing under cedar cathedral ceilings on the spacious L-shaped living room sofa. Equipped with a state-of-the-art surround sound entertainment system, 1080p LCD flat screen with Cable, Amazon Firestick, Chromecast, and wireless streaming to the stereo. You can kick back and watch a movie, or enjoy music and a toasty fire. Feel free to enjoy our old-school board game or cruise the internet with our 1GB wireless (fastest in Mammoth).

The large dining room table seats 8 comfortably and there is a breakfast bar with stools for the quick breakfast or coffee. With a fully stocked newly remodeled kitchen (microwave, coffee maker, electric water kettle, toaster, utensils) you have all the equipment necessary to make a sandwich or cook a gourmet meal.

The balcony has reclining Adirondack chairs and a beautiful view of the Sherwin range. After a fun filled day outside, store all your gear in our private ski/fishing closet and then relax in the Jacuzzi or sauna mere steps away. In the summer, lounge poolside and have a refreshing swim.

There is a washer and dryer located within the townhouse that is welcome to all guests.

The Woodlands is centrally located to everything. The walk to town, supermarket, movies, and bowling alley is only 6 blocks away. The free red line ski/town shuttle stop is right across the street. Biking, walking paths, the Sierra Star golf course, a sledding hill for the kids, and open meadow for dogs or star gazing are all, literally, right outside the front door.

This property is within walking distance to Restaurants and a 5 minute drive to Eagle Lodge, great location! The Woodlands are well maintained and quiet. The property itself is well appointed and all of the bathrooms have been recently updated with nice finishes. Everything in this condo worked perfectly and the instructions were on point. We will definitely stay here again.

Spacious condo with remodeled bathrooms in good location. A couple of issues if visiting in the winter... its quite cold in the condo because the heaters cannot warm it up (there is a restriction on the temperature you can set the heater to). One of the toilets is leaking so quite noisy at night. Also, communication with the owner was lacking. I messaged a couple of times re extra blankets and sheets but did not hear back. When i texted about the leaking toilet though the owner did respond relatively quickly to say it can't be fixed during our stay.

I have notified 3 minor issues to the mansgement team. These 3 items did not affect our stay. The extra space with a desk was an excellent bonus. My spouse stopped skiing. She had zoom meetings and it was an excellent space. My daughter also used it for her job.

The property was very nice with a well-equipped kitchen and a large dining table & spacious living room. The condo was very quiet, especially at night. The unit had 3 full bathrooms and 2 king beds in the bedrooms that were very comfortable. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room, but we did not use it. The Woodlands is centrally located and near lots of shopping and an easy walk to the stores and restaurants on Old Mammoth Road. Very friendly host with great communications prior to and during our stay. Thanks Brad, for a great family stay in Mammoth Lakes!

We had a great time and the Kraus Haus! Super cozy and convenient to everything. The hot tub and sauna was a huge plus after a long day of boarding! Brad is super responsive and helpful. The place is equipped with all the necessities and very comfortable. We hope to return!!!

My family and I had a great time staying here. The place is very clean and cozy. There were some upgrades to the condo that stuck out compared to other condo’s in the Woodlands. The bathrooms and showers have been upgraded and they partitioned off the upstairs loft to make it more of a private space - both of which improved the overall experience. We would definitely like to stay here again.

We had such a phenomenal experience at the Kraus Haus in Mammoth and cannot recommend this property enough. The description of the property and the photos did not lie, it was clean, spacious, inviting and the updated bathrooms and kitchen were just great. This was our second stay at the Kraus Haus and we couldn't be more pleased. The bathroom renovations look excellent are certainly an upgrade. The best features of this property are the 3 bed / 3 bath with open living room. It allows everyone to spread out nicely. Also you are just a few steps from the shuttle allowing easy access to the mountain and village. Kraus Haus is certainly a home away from home in Mammoth and I will be back to stay again!

We had such a fun stay in Brad’s place. His communication and responsiveness from the start was amazing. The place was well stocked, clean and so updated. It is centrally located to lifts and shops. We enjoyed our stay. Grandparents to grand children loved the townhouse. Teens said the wifi was best they've had in all our Mammoth trips. The red line was close by making access to the mountain quick and easy with no parking Hassell. Kitchen well equipped. Ski closet had 6 sleds the kids enjoyed using. Lots of room to store gear. Plenty of hot water. Plenty of parking just outside townhouse. Nice quiet complex.

We had such a wonderful time with our family at the Kraus Haus. The place was super clean, comfy, spacious, and in a great location. We were able to walk to some of our favorite food and drinking spots - Distant Brewery, Salsa's, Stove's, Dessert'd. The outside patio is awesome and we absolutely loved the set up and design of the kitchen. This was the perfect place for our family getaway and we will definitely stay here again!

Just returned home after staying at the Kraus Haus. We have been renting condos in Mammoth Lakes for the past 20 plus years. This rental was one of my favorites. The check-in process and communication with the owner was flawless. The condo was located in an ideal location. Centrally located near all of the grocery stores, restaurants, and shops. The condo was equipped with all of the necessities. You can tell the owners really went the extra mile to make sure the renters feel at home. I would definitely recommend this condo and would love to stay here again.

Stayed here for NYE with 7 total people (5 adults, 2 teenagers). Everyone was very comfortable. The location is great with everything you might need in walking distance. Shuttle stops are close and Canyon Lodge is 6 mins away if you have drive. We will definitely stay here again!

The "KrausHaus" worked perfectly for our multi-family group! The house was clean, the space perfect for all of us to not feel on top of each other, the kitchen was well-stocked, and location super convenient to everything. Thanks for helping us have a wonderful Spring ski weekend!

This property was great. It felt very cozy and comfortable. The best was that Brad, was a very great communicator and was very quick to respond. I loved the little notes around the property explaining what temperature will be best etc. it really helped a newbie like me understand the thermometer and dryness of the air. I loved that they had growlers you can use if needed. The kitchen was equipped well and plenty of linens and towels. Overall def will recommend this place.

I love to cook and the kitchen is very well equipped, plenty of plates, pots and cooking utensils. Great location, easy walking distance to the Stove, and to hiking. Well appointed bedrooms and the levels give lots of privacy. Would definitely come back

We headed up to Mammoth for a spur of the moment short vacation with 7 adults and 2 dogs. Brad was very responsive, and helpful in giving us the information we needed to get up there and get access, and even gave us some suggestions on where to stop off on the way, and where to make dinner reservations when we arrived. The place was especially clean with nice bed linens, and the kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped. The beds were comfortable and one of the adults slept on the pull-out sofa for two nights and said it was comfortable. The trolly stop is a two minute walk and we used that to go into and come back from The Village one evening. We took trips to Mono Lake Tufa National Park and June Lake one day, and Devils Postpile and Rainbow Falls hike another day and the dogs came with us everywhere. You do need a muzzle to ride the shuttle and they sell them at the Adventure center by the main lodge. All in all, a clean and spacious property in a convenient location, with very helpful and courteous home owners. Thanks Brad.

We visited the cozy "Kraus Haus" this August so we could explore Yosemite with our kids. So nice to have 3 bedrooms, 3 full baths, laundry and kitchen. The house is in the heart of Mammoth with easy access to the supermarket, restaurants, shops and the nearby Mountain's Main Lodge. After day trips to Devil's Postpile/Rainbow Falls, June Lake Loop, Saddlebag Lake, the Tufas at Mono Lake, and Yosemite, the Woodlands pool and hot tub were the perfect luxury to relax in at the end of the day. Everything in the townhouse was clean and worked well. We had great time!

Although there is a grill available to use at the pool area...we wish we had a grill on the balcony like some neighbors did, would've been much more convenient...overall nice property, very close to a grocery store...
