A great cottage on Toddy Pond. Comfortable, relaxing, quiet, peaceful!

It was all there. Thanks so much. Love the mix of traditional camp with modern amenities.

It was a very nice cottage. It was located a short walk from Toddy Pond. It was well maintained and comfortable. The kitchen had everything I need to prepare meals. We enjoyed a nice cook-out on the grill.
I found it difficult to locate when I first arrived. It was dark, thus difficult to locate the address. The gravel road into the area had several potholes - so you had to be very careful driving to/from the cottage.

Very clean, comfortable, and and private cabin. We really enjoyed our visit!

The cabin is your home away from home. It has all the amenities you could think of. It was so peaceful sitting in the screened in porch watching the hummingbirds and seeing the water in the distance. Very clase to Bar Harbor and Acadia.

We absolutely loved the cabin and especially the screened in porch where we watched the hummingbirds! It had everything we needed and was so relaxing to stay there! Thanks Nancy!

The cabin looks better in person than the pics uploaded on VRBO - don't hesitate to stay here. Very clean and well maintained cabin.

A wonderful stay for our first vacation in Maine. Would have loved to stay longer. Lovely and quiet. Kayaking at the pond was a treat.

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your wonderful cabin! What a peaceful place to stay—so close to the pond and also so close to Acadia. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We loved our stay! The home was the perfect space for our family of six. We enjoyed driving to Acadia NP each day and the drive was manageable from this location. We had a great trip!

Returning to ME for a family reunion. This gave us an opportunity to visit area not seen by my partner and his children.
Cabin was one of the cleanest properties I have rented over the years.
Only disappointment was due to Mother Nature causing change to pond and the access was over run by weeds. Not fault of host at all. We were able to access public area to allow the kids to swim as alternate choice.

We really enjoyed our stay! The property was nice, scenic, and great fishing from the canoe and kayaks! The owners were very kind and helpful! Highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful, relaxing and fun experience staying at Nancy's Cabin. The Cabin itself was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. The outdoor space was glorious. There is a small Main Street town in Ellsworth close by for drinks and food. And of course, in every direction there is Lobstah!

The cottage was perfect, it was quiet and peaceful and it had everything we needed! We used it as a home base as we explored the area. One thing to be aware of is the dock area is not conducive to swimming, very muddy, but there are kayaks and a canoe that you can take out into the clear water. I would definitely recommend this property.

My best friend and I enjoyed a weekend get-away in Maine. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! The kayaks were a nice bonus! The property owner was very sweet. This was my favorite VRBO house so far, and I do hope to come back!

We enjoyed this peaceful, cozy cottage in perfect location to explore all areas of northern Maine! Well equipped, clean, and Nancy, the host, was so accommodating and communicative. Our kids (17 and 13) loved the loft and catwalk. Highly recommend!

The home was absolutely nostalgic and beautiful. It felt like home. I’m from Maine originally and it was a perfect retreat for me and my family. The home has everything you could possibly ask for and wa fully equipped. I will definetly be renting this again when I come back to Maine.

The owners show how much they love this cottage with little touches everywhere, and how well everything is kept up.
250Mbps internet, which was great.
Upstairs there's an entire large dresser completely filled with DVDs of quality movies.
Thanks!

Little cabin in the woods. Very clean and nice. Perfect for our adventures in Maine.

The pictures online do not do this cabin justice. This is such a beautiful cabin in a wonderful secluded spot. It is back in the woods just far enough along a beautiful pond, but not too far out that getting to the main road and getting to various locations (Bar Harbor, Arcadia Park, Etc) was very easy. The cabin was spotless and clean!! It has everything you need. A fully stocked kitchen, extra towels, linens/blankets, books to read in a comfy book nook corner of the loft, WiFi , cable TV, can't think of anything they didn't have there for their quest, even fresh flowers to welcome you! The host was very responsive if we had any questions. They have Kayaks and a personal dock there for your use. They also had a supply of fishing rods and gear for fishing in the pond. We couldn't of asked for a more beautiful picturesque place to stay for our first trip to Maine! Would highly recommend this Cabin for anyone traveling to Maine. Our two large dogs loved the roominess inside the cabin and outside they loved being able to run without a leash without worry of traffic. Other cabins in the same area, allowed for you to still feel you were safe and near others but not to near ( if you know what I mean). The host lives out back, a short walk to their place if you need anything or just want to say hello. Our lab of course loved swimming daily in the pond! AAA+ Thank you again for allowing us and our dogs to stay in this awesome cabin in the woods!

We contacted Nancy when we arrived to let her know we made it. We talked a bit I had asked for local information and she was very helpful. The cottage was as listed. It was very clean and had a great feel with how it was decorated with little things here and there. Great shower nice hot water. The water was drinkable right out of the tap. We did not fish but the pond (lake in my eyes) looked very nice. There was a grill and picnic table with a pop up cover. It was only two of us we had plans with another couple but they had something come up, the cottage would easily sleep four or more with a fold out couch. We enjoyed coffee on the screened in porch in the morning. Did see one deer walk by while there as well. Great place for peace and quiet. We went out to Acadia easily for hiking. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks for the stay Nancy.

The cabin is the perfect example of a Maine getaway. Perfectly situated between Bar Harbor and Bucksport.
A short drive to the bustling Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park and to come back to the peace and quiet of the woods. The owner meticulously takes great care in having everything you need for your vacation. All you need to bring is your clothes and showering supplies. Absolutely loved everything here. Exceeded expectations.

Our family of four really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The hosts were very accessible and flexible. The house was comfy and clean and the location is really great. We so appreciate having the canoe and kayaks at our disposal. The only note is that the cabin is not on the lake and, while the water access is close, it is not great swimming near the dock. We would use the boats to go out to the nearby island and swim from there. We would definitely return!

Wanted somewhere near Acadia but not touristy. Perfect spot for our family. Kayak access, secluded, and beautiful location. Thank you for a memorable stay!

The photos don’t do this place justice. It is such a cute cabin! We loved all the personal touches like the fresh cute flowers and welcome note on the table. Our only regret is we didn’t have enough time to enjoy all that was available at this cabin for guests.

You can chose what you like with this cabin! Its location is perfect. You can make the short hop over to Acadia, go into Bangor, or stay out of the crowds and spend a getaway in the woods. There’s access to the lake/pond with kayaks. The cabin is beautiful. It’s great for a family with kids of all ages.

Property location was great. Close to Acadia and Bucksport areas. It also provided a very quiet scene away from the busyness of the park. We enjoyed the layout of the interior with the double lofts. The timber frame construction and pine everywhere was well done. All amenties listed were accurate, and the decorations fit the cabin very well.
Great place to stay if visiting coastal Maine.

We had the most lovely stay. Nancy was a great communicator. The property was clean and had everything we needed. We took our kids out on the kayaks which was a nice option for an outing as well. The screened in porch was my favorite spot to sit in peace and relax in the mornings. I could sip my coffee and not be bothered by the bugs! Super great stay.

The cottage is clean and well-maintained with local and distinct decorations that add interest and beauty to the place. The location is lovely and the pond is quiet, picturesque and serene. Check-in and check-out were easy and written instructions from the owner are clear and easy to follow. Surrounding towns have much to offer in the way of dining, shopping and recreation. Only thing to keep in mind is that little ones (2 and under) may get into some of the items displayed at eye level.

Everything about this place was great. Sitting on the screened in porch was a great way to end the day. Very short walk to the dock. We didn't use the kayaks but hopefully next time!
