The location of the guesthouse was superb, everything was very clean.
Bad regulation of hot water, not enough showers for the amount of rooms and stinky water. You gotta pay for parking.
3.4

The location
Staff was extreamly rude, never experienced this on a place i stay at, threw me out around 11:00 even though their site says 11:30, was pissed off and rude asking me questions because i knew other people that were staying there, did not belive me that i had ordered a room even though the night before i got keys with my name and the number of the room, i will never ever stay there again and will recommend people not to do so,, on their site it says pets allowed and my friends were in another room with their pets and he was crazy about it and is trying to charge them 200euro for having them even though on the site it says pets allowed and is definitely something they have to fix not charge for their own mistake.
Staffið var virkilega dónarlegt, aldrei upplifað annað eins á gistiheimili, rak mig út um 11 þegar það stendur 11:30 á síðunni þeirra, var dónarlegur og pirraður að spurja mig spurningar því ég þekkti annað fólk sem var að gista þarna og trúði mér ekki að ég var með bókað herbergi, samt fékk ég lykil með nafninu mínu og herbergisnumeri kvöldið áður, spurja mig fáránlegar og dónalegar spurningar, mun aldrei gista á þessum stað aftur og mun vara alla við að gera það ekki heldur, aldrei upplifað annað eins á gististað!

Perfect Location.
Water smells like sulphur. I guess that is normal on Iceland due to geothermal springs.

Nothing. The location was convenient and hence booked it but regretted booking this place.
First of all it was a struggle to find our room studio b as there was no directions anywhere. Map near the entrance was in Icelandic and I tried to decipher but to no avail. There was no one around and owner was rude enough not to pick up the call or respond to texts. So our family of four inc two kids was left to fend for ourselves. Finally figured that door to studio was a rotten metal garden door on the side which had no directions. Entering the garden door was the first revelation of horrors that awaited. Outside was an an unkempt garden with all sort of things strewn and a ladder blocking our door. Entering the room we found a very strong smell of mould and damp. Bathroom smelled like a sewer. There was mould growing in the room near entrance, behind kitchen cabinets and in toilet. We had to spray room freshener just to stand inside. Decided that we will spend outside for as long as possible and only come inside when we are really sleepy. Even then noises kept on coming from communal kitchen and upstairs late in the night. Thankfully we had an early morning flight so didn’t have to suffer the ordeal for long. Do not make the same mistake!

Nice location, big kitchen, close to the city center.
They had problems with their booking system. The booking was confirmed, payed and we received the mail with the keycode for the entrance. But somehow their booking system doesen't show our names. This can happen. What's a no go, is the hyper aggressive and uncooperative Manager.

This was in a great centrally located spot. It was easy to access transportation. The beds were comfortable and the room we were in had a great street view. There was a nice courtyard and a spacious common kitchen.
3.4
Location, good facilities, very comfortable bed
The window from bedroom 11 was broken, so we needed to sleep whole night with open window. There were no workers to address this issue. Luckily we switched on the heating so it was ok

The hostel had an amazing location. It was very clean and the staff were quick to respond to messages online. The kitchen is very well equipped.
The bedroom was a quite cold at times even with the heat on

Nothing to be honest. The only good thing about the property was the other guests as they were more helpful than the owners.
We had to book a last minute room as we got stranded at Reykjavik airport. It took us hours to manage to get out of the airport, so we were relieved to know we would be sleeping in a warm bed.
During our 8 hour wait at the airport, I tried to contact the owners to try and get some help with transportation to the property, but no one answer the phone. At booking, I got an email with instructions as to how to get into the front door and stated that, as it was after hours, our room key would be placed alongside my name inside.
After spending over 8 hours at the airport, we arrived at the property only to discovered that no one had left a key to our room. Attempts to call the owners (that was by then 7 am) were futile. So we found ourselves with no room nor place to stay. The other guests weren’t at all surprised, and mentioned that the customer service had been extremely poor. In the end, we managed to get a room in a nearby hotel so we could get some sleep. No one from the guesthouse contacted us to check or to apologise. If you can, don’t book into this guesthouse.

comfy beds, very homely, amazing location and great communication from owners.
showers not clean, window latches broken.

Location was good
Mold in showers, stayed 2 nights, no where to get fresh towels.

Upon arrival, we did not receive the Studio Apartment instead were given a room with No En-Suite Bathroom and No Private Kitchen that we had paid for. We attempted to contact the Guesthouse owners but were unable to reach them through the number provided. Because of this, we had to stay in the room we were given. This room also had a faulty light switch and a plug socket which was hanging out of the wall as well as a soap dish that had been filled with water. 2 of the 3 Communal Showers were blocked and one had faulty tiles in addition. We were very disappointed and upset because we did not receive what we had paid for and were not able to fix the problem. I have complained through booking.com and the property is yet to respond despite the deadline given to them by booking.com passing.

Room itself was very clean
Bathroom could do with an update

loved the location and our room was cozy!
the property says free parking available but we could not find it. we messaged the host but did not get a response so we parked in pay parking.
3.4
Great location and large kitchen facility. We had a nice large window that overlooked the city below
Being two elderly women, I guess I would say that I did not like having to climb the stairs to the second floor but it was good exercise and we were near the washroom. Also the locks and doors were very noisy when opening and closing and I feared a disrupting people.
3.4
Very central to downtown Reykjavik. Large shared kitchen, street parking immediately outside (charges apply). Cheap and ok given the location.
Small room, very soft beds, showers looking worse for wear and generally scruffy appearance. Noise from other guests on the stairs.
3.4
great location, good WiFi, cute rooms, kitchen that can be used
the bathroom could do with some TLC
3.4
quiet comfortable room, well equipped kitchen.
shower on second floor was sufficient but not very nice
3.4
Great location, the kitchen has everything, shared toilets and showers which by the 12th day in Iceland we totally got used to.
There were 8 sockets in the room and 6 of them were unreachable since they were up in the ceiling, even if you reach them you have nowhere to put your equipment, it will just hang from the ceiling. 2 sockets for 4 people aren't enough. Should be at least 1 for each. Overall was ok
