Lovely hosts , great location, delicious breakfast, and a room with everything you need

Great hosts welcoming and helpful, excellent location right in the centre of Ambleside , delicious breakfast so much choice , in your room was everything you needed, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back again

Only one night but everything was perfect…. Mia the dog was definitely the highlight

Perfect visit to Ambleside with accomidating hosts and a hearty breakfast.

Breakfast was great, the room was cosy and quiet. I appreciated the information we got about parking in the area.

The light above our bed did not have a lightbulb in it, but other than that no complaints at all!

A very warm welcome , very convenient, Lovely comfortable bed and great breakfast. we would certainly stay again .

very convenient for the Ambleside areas . Great use of the parking facility . lovely bright breakfast room , great amenities in room even had face flannels. good tea tray and products in the room . lovely welcome on arrival , friendly staff. Great breakfast and good choices .

Host was very helpful on arrival helping us to park etc.

Nothing we did not like. As mentioned previously this is the best B& B we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many. I would recommend this place to anyone as it exceeded our expectations.

Great value for money stay over the new Year

A great welcome fom the owner, who was very helpful. Location was great to get around the town centre. Breakfast was good.

The room is ready for some upgrading and the bathroom was small, but still great value for money.

Would recommend, felt a good vibe as soon as we walked in

Owners are so welcoming and friendly. Felt a good vibe as soon as we walked in. They still have 2 rooms to renovate of which we stayed in one, so a little outdated, but still very clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast selects are really good, so it was a full English for the husband and pancakes and fruit for me, both superb. Location is smack bang in the middle of Ambleside and with free parking.

John & Megan were brilliant hosts, we had a 6 night stay over New Years and it was a brilliant place to stay for the

Amazing, central Ambleside location. Really lovely, friendly & kind hosts/owners. Amazing breakfast. Free parking all week and a permit that also worked elsewhere so we were able to use this in Windermere too...this saves a lot of money. Tea/coffee/milk/biscuits all replenished each day in room along with fresh towels.

Rooms are very small so suitcase had to go back in the car!! Although it was clean, it could have been a little cleaner to move an 8 out of 10 to a 10.

Perfect - like coming home except home had become a show home!

Superbly refurbished, immaculate and puts just about anywhere else to shame. The shower was the best I’ve ever used.

A comfy, restful and relaxing stay with very friendly service and staff.

The breakfast was really good and used locally sourced products. The room was compact but suited our one night stay

We had to park in a local Car Park a few minutes away from the property (but we did get a Car Park pass included)

Lovely couple running this B & B Very clean, nice bright dining room and good breakfast Central to Ambleside with restaurants in walking distance Vouchers for free parking

Very small bathroom, no on site parking. Parking available within walking distance but carparks were usually full

Our stay was great and we thank the hosts warmly but that room should be a single occupancy

hosts were superb breakfast choice was excellent location was perfect facilities were very clean and washing products were provided

the room we had (1) was way too small and uncomfortable and very warm even with window open. Bathroom was cramped , there was an area at the end of the bed into which 2 doors opened that was the only storage and dressing space.
