Breakfast was incredible. Beautiful and stately breakfast room with vaulted ceiling and chandeliers. Hot breakfast made to order and extensive breakfast bar. Incredible service with professional and friendly staff.
I advise bringing a small wedge to place under heavy bathroom door to prevent it from swinging shut.

Staff were very friendly and hotel was beautiful
We had been upgraded to room 350, as my husband had been in touch organising anniversary gifts. When we arrived my husbands requests were not in the room. That night loud music started playing. We contacted the receptionist and were informed it was a wedding and it should stop in an hour. They did attempt to close windows and move the music but it continued to play until just before 2am. When the music stopped the wedding guests were gathered just outside so noise continued for another hour. The issue was the location of the room, given the nature of the event booked. I believe had we had a room away from the wedding reception we would have had a lovely stay. We were given a 50# reduction but given the original price was nearly €700 we ended up paying €350 room cost for one night, with little sleep.

Fabulous decor, really sumptuous.
The bed was like sleeping on air, so comfortable.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Two of the plugs didn't work in the room. The lack of a pool is a drawback.

Breakfast was a highlight. Setting was sensational.
One of the restaurants was a little noisy. Bad acoustics and over crowded

I loved the opulent feel of the hotel, was very luxurious. The location was really good and the grounds of the hotel itself gorgeous. I loved how the we had turn down service every evening. The breakfast selection was also really good. all staff were very attentive and accommodating.
I didn’t like the fact they didn’t have pool/jacuzzi facilities which would be expected from a 5 star hotel

Beautifully luxurious. Great staff, right from the front door, reception and beyond. Great experience on the orient express and the food certainly did not disappoint. Lovely message in the spa.

The property was beautiful and the location was convenient.
Very few of the advertised amenities were available during our stay. We wanted to do afternoon tea but the entire room was rented out to a group. Then we wanted to have dinner at the Pullman but the entire restaurant was also rented out to a different group. Also unable to rent horses because they were at an off site location 15 minutes down the road. On our last night we tried to have dinner at the another on-site restaurant. We waited over an hour for our food after ordering. we inquired with the manager after an hour fifteen and he said the food was in the kitchen being plated. At that point we were tired of waiting and cancelled the order and went to bed without dinner. Totally put a damper on our last night in Ireland. My assumption is the regular guests suffered as they catered to the private parties. Suffice to say, at over $400 a night, we were quite disappointed with our stay.
