We opted for the Country Loft for our group of 15 for the extra space. We rented the cabin in August, and it was the perfect summer getaway. We brought a fishing boat with us and we're given a dock with our cabin. The playground was a hit with the kids and so was the lake. The wrap around deck was nice the rooms were spacious and well designed especially all the bunk rooms in the basement. This place doesn't look big from the pictures, but it is! I wouldn't hesitate to book here again for our annual family vacation.

Several updates have been done to the Country Loft which were great! Unfortunately, there were several things that were unacceptable. The biggest issues I had with the Country Loft was the fact that the some of the mattress pads on the beds were NOT changed before we took occupancy. On one of the beds, the stains on the mattress pad were visible through the fitted sheet. When I spoke with Angela at Hillers Property Management office, I was told if the owner of the rental property does not provide adequate mattress pads, they are not changed. There were moisture removal bags hanging on the lowest level that were FULL of fluid/water. The lowest level was very damp and there are 4 bedrooms down there. There were several other items in need of repair and the rental property was definitely not cleaned according to Covid requirements. I think a big part of the problem is the Hillers Property Management staff. Ever since they took over, the entire Elberts Resort property has gone downhill. Every item you bring to Angela’s attention is blamed on the homeowner. If everything that needs to be fixed is fixed, I would definitely recommend Country Loft to my friends.

We had another excellent stay at the Country Loft at Elberts. Very comfortable beds, plenty of room for our large family and the redone kitchen was appreciated by my wife. We love to fish and their easy accessible docks and the fishing was great.

Beautiful place but....
The cabin is beautiful, the location is great for snowmobiling but besides the 2 kings size beds on the main level all the other beds are TERRIBLE, they all sink way down in the middle, the one top bunk upstairs is only a box spring! Our group (14) would absolutely stay here again if they updated the beds but otherwise we will have to pass.

Loved the location of the property. I felt the property could be better maintained. Ceiling fan in upper level shakes, ceiling tiles in room on lower level missing. The dehumidifier should've been turned on in April. I am hoping the repairs that need to be done are completed before our stay next year. There were plenty of beds for our family, and the bedrooms were good size. I would recommend this property to a friend or relative.

We always enjoy our time in St. Germain and at Elbert's Country Loft. We are happy that Hiller immediately honored our request to get bowls and mugs for Country Loft; there were far fewer than in previous years. The added bedroom in the basement (replacing hot tub) was a great idea. The king beds on the main level are nice. We mentioned to Hiller that a patio screen door is very loose and a glass door is almost impossible to open (closing is okay). Hopefully those things will be fixed. See you next year!

Liked everything about the villa except the kitchen. For that big a villa the dishes were lacking. We ended up buying paper and plastic products. The cabinets were greasy to the touch. The refrigerator was tired. The tub in the bathroom was very slippery, need a rubber mat or replace the trends in the tub. The guys enjoyed the lake and fishing. The kids enjoyed the play area. Overall we had a good time!

We love vacationing at Elbert's Resort. This year the resort was under new ownership (Hiller's) We did like the convenience of the office for making our payments/etc. This year we did have a few issues with our cabin when we arrived. One of our couches had a broken leg and our microwave had a broken handle. I called in these issues and never heard back from the office so we fixed the couch best we could and put duct tape on the microwave issue. Also, the bed arrangements had been changed from our years prior so we were able to make it work but having an update about different beds being in specific bedrooms and on different floors would have been beneficial.
