Easy parking. Room good size with kettle, small fridge with breakfast. Beds comfortable and nice shower. Food well cooked and good portions. Roger, the owner was very friendly and attentive.
Only complaint was that it was very very quiet which meant the bar / restaurant lacked atmosphere.

THE LOCATION WAS LOVELY WITH A VIEW OVER THE GREEN TO THE CHURCH. THE FOOD WAS GOOD WITH MY GLUTEN FREE REQUIREMENTS WELL CATERED FOR
THERE WERE NO PROBLEMS

Comfortable stay in a good location.
They was some confusion between the owners about the preferred method of payment.

We arrived early, at approx 12 noon and asked if we could see our room. This was not allowed! The pictures on Booking .com did not resemble the actual situation. This was not a 4star hotel, as advertised, but was adorned with tasteless B & B signs everywhere, the place had a rather unattractive appearance. We decided against staying there so cannot comment any further.
4.3
it was dirty, from the front, the windows were dirty and the access at the back had a sign “B & B” by a door with a sign saying “No B & B before 4PM”.
I knocked on the door and after a long pause, a bathroom window opened up stairs and an unkempt man barked at me - “you are too early!”

Lovely friendly family-run inn in rural Norfolk. Lovely food, cosy lounge/bar/dining room, about two miles from the nearest town (Swaffham). We'll be back.
4.3
Lovely quiet location in a beautiful village. Exceptionally clean, and well appointed
No cooked breakfast available, although the breakfast box was perfectly adequate. The bed was not particukarly comfortable.

nice rooms and peaceful location an hours drive to coast but nice scenery along the way and not too much traffic.Breakfast was delivered to you room in a hamper so you could eat whenever you like the next morning and drinks,Milk, yogurts we’re always stocked in the mini fridge next to your beds. The owner was most helpful and gracious even when we asked a little extra, great value and good parking, nice stand up shower and washroom en-suite,would stay again sometime and try the food menu and bar next time as we went out for food and experience the county on this trip but menu looks good aswell as the bar
nothing to complain about it was all very nice

Freidnly owner who was helpful, clean room and a v ery quiet location, good for walking the dogs morning and evening. We liked the breakfast selection provided.
A little short on space but then there we were a family of 4 plus 2 dogs!

Nothing, would visit again.

Cosy room. Friendly welcome. Wonderful setting and location.
I would have preferred a double room but I still slept well.
4.3
Nice room, fresh and clean. Good food and nice little inn bar/dining space. Also bonus that there was a small playground and football nets just across the road.

A very comfortable , clean room in a delightful village with a very friendly host. lovely fruit for breakfast. it is very quiet.
It’s a bit misleading in the website as it gives the impression that it is still a pub rather than a BnB although evening meals are still available.

lovely large room with sofa, great shower, really clean. great continental breakfast included in room rate.

Good food and menu. Very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble.
Poor WiFi signal strength and no mobile phone reception.

Owner is a great gentleman. He was very helpful.
The bed is comfortable and place is spot on clean.
The place is over price. The size of the room is small for family room.

The family room was comfortable and clean. We were made to feel very welcome. The food was great too.
4.3
We loved the room it was clean, the decor was loverly and it was compftable
the ensuite was also clean and the shower was a loverly size and the water pressure was perfect.
the enclosed garden with a loverly patio the field across the road was great for walking the dog in this small village was serene and quiet.
The continental breakfast delivered to your door was delicious and and arrived fresh a great start to our days.
The staff/owner that we met was friendly always contactable and always responded quickly to questions or requests.
The room could of benefitted with a little extra ventilation but that was more down to the weather being very warm and our personal preference of keeping very cool.
4.3
Continental breakfast only but good. Good if limited choice of evening meal but very well prepared.
4.3
Continental breakfast on tray served to room or in the garden. Plenty of choice and lovely fresh fruit.
Hosts were very kind and welcoming. We also visited the delightful Gooderstone Water Park nearby. A tranquil haven.
4.3
Would have preferred a cooked breakfast but the fresh fruit and choice of cereals were excellent
Due to covid measures, we were served dinner and breakfast in our room so not very sociable
4.3
The owners were informative and the room was warm and welcoming. Although we didn’t arrive until 8.30pm we were provided with the full menu and had a lovely meal in our room. Breakfast was also served in the room (due to Covid) and we were provided with a full tray of pastries, toast, cereals, fruit, coffee and juice. Scrummy!
Nothing!
