The staff is very friendly.
Breakfast is excellent value.
Due to its location (10 mins bus ride from city centre) it is very quiet
4.3
Great location, lovely owner. Very welcoming feeling
Good for solo traveler too
I had trouble adjusting the shower temperature but it’s probably user error. In the end it was all fine

Very friendly welcome and helpful. Great choices for breakfast. Arthur's seat in walking distance. Busses on the doorstep. An additional portable fire was provided.
Shower curtain was too short.

This place has a very welcoming and homely feel to it. I had a very pleasant stay here. Its a great location for someone who would like to be close to the city center without being right in the hustle and bustle.

Location for food & ease of transport to Edinburgh Centre was very easy. Room was clean. Staff were very good when we arrived for breakfast & told we were too late on 2nd day. but they did provide us with a take away bag of goodies. The actual property itself was beautiful and kept to a very high standard.
No-one to welcome you, little/no information re: getting extra tea/coffee for room, breakfast time in room. Could have done with bus timetable or info on which bus to get to town. Information on places to eat locally would have been good/helpful with directions. Husband didn't like the double bed too uncomfortable but used the single which was better.
4.3

was. close to town and bus stop to get around Edinburgh
The bed mattress needs changing can feel all springs and the duvet on bed smelt sweaty like its been used previously we at to use the spare blacket which was ok The breakfast needs a little more attention as it comes out in small portion and goes cold quickly being left in wormer which is not put on so makes it worse all the part of continual breakfast was good and fresh
