This house was big and beautiful with plenty to do in the house and around the area. Beds were super comfortable and 2 bedrooms with en-suites was fabulous. We were even able to park our car in the garage due to the unseasonably hot (100+ degrees every day all week with full sun in latter half of October) to keep inside from getting so hot!! And of course the pool made the weather bearable. Great place for some family fun. Would definitely stay again!!

For the most part, we all enjoyed our stay. Anita, our contact, was very responsive to our needs and resolved any issues on a timely basis. There were, however, items that should be addressed. The front coil burner on the stove did not work after only using a couple of times. The refrigerator water filter needed to be changed. One of the pool table balls was dented and could not be played. Ping pong balls were cracked, so we purchased new ones. All in all, the house provided us with plenty of room and diversions.

The property was nice for a family. There are several maintenance issues that need to be addressed. We counted on using the pool since we paid extra for the pool to be heated...but it never did heat up all week (and the outdoor temps were in the 70's while we were there, so that didn't even help, even had a 75 degree day). I assumed the pool would be up to temp when we checked in because the management team knew we paid to have the pool heated...but no it was very cold.
This one issue would have made this property and exceptional rental for our family, but had to tell the kids no swimming.
The management team did refund the amount I paid for the pool heating...but I would have gladly paid it for the pool usage.

Nice home with great amenities for a family vacation
The house was as described online and we enjoyed our stay. The only minor inconvenience was the pool. Certainly not the property owners fault, but the amount of debris that fell from the trees left the pool uninviting the day after the cleaning company came. We tried to keep up with skimming the pool but wound up not using it nearly as much as expected. Despite that, I would highly recommend this property.

Not As Advertised
We had a nice time at the property but be aware that the pictures don't represent the current state of the property. They must have been taken quite some time ago. When we 1st entered the house, it had a VERY strong musty smell, almost as if the house had been closed up for a while. The outside furniture is very used and faded, the large umbrella by the two lounge chairs in the backyard is completely destroyed and unusable, the pool is missing tiles, the pool cover was piled up in the backyard. In the inside of the house, there is a kitchen cabinet door missing, the master bathroom faucets had tons of build up on them from the water, there were no dish cloths provided, and the house as a whole could use a good "scrub down". (Especially the ceiling fans which had dust piled high on them) Lots of these things could be easily fixed with little or no cost to the owner but when I gave the list to her she stated she had been at the property the same day we checked in and everything was "nice and clean". So, she is obviously aware of the improvements needed, but must not see them as a priority. Just seems like a bit of a "money grab". We stay at VRBOs quite often and have stayed in much nicer homes for less money. This house was definitely lacking.

Nice home but house could have been cleaner, especially kitchen/oven. Was unfortunate that we went to grill and ALL 3 propane tanks were empty!
No access to jacuzzi switch to activate it. Main bedroom upstairs light with fan was not working or unable to turn on. Nice main bathroom upstairs with great roomy shower. Main bedroom upstairs TV not accessible. Nice dining room table and chairs. Small kitchen table with only 3 chairs. 9pm quiet time outside a little early to us.

60th birthday celebration
My mother, husband, sister, & I rented the house and had visits from my son and two nephews and their significant others. Due to Covid we did not want to go out and with all the amenities we were able to stay home & have a great time. We swam, had ping pong tournaments, pool tournaments, & corn hole. While waiting for your turn the putting green was put to great use!!! We really enjoyed our stay!!! Everything was wonderful!!!

Perfect family get together house!
This house has it all! Spacious, lots of games and things to do! The back yard space with the pool is amazing. Lots of shade and seating. The inside has a ton of seating and space for the 10 of us! The location was perfect. Close to everything. Fantastic and nice neighborhood. Our host was responsive, nice, thoughtful and took good care of us.

Excellent Stay
This property is perfect for a family get-away and Anita made the entire experience A+! The information provided prior to an during our stay was very convenient and helpful during our stay.
The location of the property; recommendations of the host through a helpful binder and online tablet; the amenities in the property and the attentiveness of Anita/management staff would not only make me recommend this property, but return again on a future occasion! The property was clean and hot water was abundant. For a family of 7, the house was spacious but felt homey. My children loved the outdoor putting green, various backyard games and of course the pool! The neighborhood felt safe and was located conveniently to restaurants, shops, the highway, ect. The air conditioner was reliable and served us well on the 100+ days.
I would recommend a light in the garage and backyard patio area/pool area.

Family vacation
The house was lovely. The pool wonderful on those days of 112 degrees. Everything was so good! We had such a great time at this house. We watched movies, played games, swam, ate, slept late. We visited several places of interest in AZ from this base. Thanks for a wonderful week!

Great stay with full amenities
House was perfect for 5 adults (but could certainly accommodate at least 4 couples). Decent distance to downtown Scottsdale and neighboring golf courses. We u eres to downtown Scottsdale a few times (maybe 15 min drive).
House had plenty of amenities: great pool, some lawn games, nice new outdoor dining table (updated from the metal table in the listing pics at time of booking), beds were comfortable and clean.
We would definitely stay again. Communication and checkin/out were super simple. Thank you!!

Property was not clean.
The first day Saturday we where there we saw a Rotan in the kitchen cabinet, we reported it to the manager and she called a exterminator, he put three rat traps down on the kitchen floor That Monday, so my family and I was up looking for this Rotan, we had started looking around the property and noticed trash behind the Couches and under the Beds,, soap scum on the shower and sink Handles,, This was not a vacation Experience, we clean the first night there. we were scared to sleep and very uncomfortable, we had waited for the exterminator so we missed out on Family plans. The Rotan got out of two traps so the exterminator came back out with new traps one of my family members spotted the The Rotan that looked bigger than the Rat, so I called the exterminator and let him know the Rotan looked like a squirrel, this was a nightmare we were not able to sleep you could hear noise of scratching around the property. The Rotan was caught on Thursday, this was the worst experience my Family have had on vacation. We had young children with us and they could not play around the house, not a good Experience at all. Very Disappointed.

Great entertainment house with lots to do
We had a great stay at this house. Lots of things to keep the family and kids entertained. Backyard is a little run down compared to pictures of property, but nice enough nonetheless. Would stay again.

Fabulous family vacation spot
Perfect home for meeting my sister and her family. Plenty of bedrooms for all. We enjoyed the many amenities including the pool table, hot tub, ping pong, and corn hole. It was a convenient location close to shopping and restaurants.

Nice property, needs attention and service.
This home is very well appointed for a group. We had four couples, and there was plenty of room for all inside and a great outdoor space as well. Location is great also. Unfortunately the few things that kept me from giving this home a great rating are due to neglect and lack of attention.
Communication prior to our stay was spotty. Messaging was inconsistent, and I didn’t receive the promised “Welcome message” until I called and asked for it 2 days prior. We had specifically requested a heated pool; I asked this before we reserved and was told yes, the pool could be heated. I asked again a couple of weeks prior to our arrival, again receiving a positive response. But when we arrived the pool was ice cold, and never warmed up during our four days. I called, emailed, to no avail. (In fact the email I sent Saturday morning wasn’t answered until Monday morning, although I had called the maintenance company in the meantime they didn’t seem to know that.) There was apparently no help for it, and they said they would send someone but if anyone came it made no difference. The hot tub was warm but too dirty to use comfortably, and the outdoor furniture was shabby. Indoors was clean and pretty nice except for the broken cupboards, but the upstairs was overly warm and we were not able to bring the temperature down.
Overall this was a good place well suited for our couples trip but could be great with some TLC.

Great place for family gathering
This home was just what we needed. We really appreciated the open space and games to keep everyone entertained. The kitchen was well stocked as well for cooking for a large group. Beds were very comfortable and everyone felt right at home. Very close to wonderful shopping 3 to 4 miles away. Convenient to the airport just 20 to 30 minutes.
We could not get the hot tub hot which was very disappointing. Other than that we would definitely go back to this house again.

Anita was amazing to work with. She answered all of our questions promptly so we were never left wondering. It was a great house for 4 guys to stay at while on a golfing trip.

Just what we needed
This home was optimally located for our stay before and after our daughter's wedding. 7 minutes from venues and church it provided the perfect retreat for us to relax and recharge.
Home is 2 story, with 2 masters which worked well for our group.
The property manager was responsive when we had a minor issue (smoke alarm battery change...chirping @ 3am of course)
Reasons for less than 5 stars;
Accuracy of listing was a problem however....this proprety is on PARADISE LANE not Drive as listed so golf clubs and other shipped items were returned or arrived too late and since this trip was for our daughter's wedding extremely inconvenient.
Cleanliness rating actually is more about upkeep, curiously the cabinets and drawer knobs were missing or broken - we improvised with zip ties and shoelaces.
Pool skimmer was broken - we purchased parts and repaired
Out door furniture cushions were disintegrated from sun exposure, we removed and used towels but these should probably be replaced and stored indoors when not occupied.
Overall a great stay and a perfect location
Check out cannoli and gelato at Sicilian baker...we are addicted.

September stay
Property was as described. Beds were comfortable and all linens were clean. Plenty of dishes for our large group. The pool, and outdoor activities kept the kids entertained and the pool table was being used constantly. Stores, and basic shopping is close by. We would rent this house again.

Wonderful house!
The house was awesome! So much to do. Neighborhood was clean and very nice. The house included many of the little odds and ends that you usually have to go pick up. Pictures online are very accurate.

Great house in a nice community!
Very comfortable home with a lot to offer. The bedrooms are nicely furnished and quiet. We loved the backyard entertainment and the pool was a highlight! We had no issues with using the spa. We had a great time and can’t wait to be come back!

Great experience!
We really enjoyed staying at this home. The layout was perfect for us. We were 4 couples and loved having 4 king bedrooms. The backyard was great too! Our only complaint was the address on Home Away App was incorrect so had a problem finding the home. The address was listed as 4964 Paradise Drive instead of Lane, which led us to the wrong area. Our only complaint about the house was that we were left with very little toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags. The beds were all very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We loved our week at this home in sunny Phoenix and would stay here again.

Beautiful Home With Some Issues
This home was lovely and well appointed with furnishings and artwork. We enjoyed the pool table and the other outside games. Beds were comfortable and the gathering areas were spacious for our party of 8.
The main issue was the hot tub was not working and although the pool guy was sent the day after and on subsequent days, it was never working, either not holding water or too cold. Unfortunately for our group, this was the number one amenity wanted in a vacation home. The owner told us, and I quote, "There is nothing wrong if the water is 96....it's cold outside and that's why its having trouble reaching 104". So, if you want a hot tub, pass on this house. She did refund the pool heating charge of $140.
Other issues included not enough wash clothes and hand towels for our group of 8. (We were provided with 2 towels, 1 wash cloth and 1 hand towel for each couple.) Also, no paper towels. They did bring out both the next day. Heads up they don't provide tissues or garbage bags and you get one roll of toilet paper for each bathroom.
Finally, although the house is located in an easy place to get around, it is on a busy residential street which the master faces. This room gets a lot of street noise which we are not used to so had a bit of trouble sleeping. The other couples said their rooms were quiet.
Overall, for the price of this home too much time was spent trying to find household supplies, requesting missing items, and working with the pool guy.

Comfortable and entertaining
Was everything we hoped it would be! The only thing I could possibly criticize was that there was some trash left in the outdoor area. And that the gas fire pit seemed to be broken, as it was in pieces and pushed up against the side of the house.

Well kept, clean property with a ton of room!
The whole group enjoyed the stay. Everything was very clean. Kitchen was well stock for cooking. More than enough room. Beds we comfortable. Outdoor area was fantastic.

Amazing house!
This is an amazing house! It was beautiful! We arrived a little after the check-in time and the home was clean and felt fresh. The furniture was in great condition and all the beds were comfortable. The backyard activities did a great job at keeping the kiddos entertained. Location was superb. This was a very smooth renting process from check-in to check-out everything was organized. I highly recommend this one!

Perfect fit for two families with kids
We were two families of four, and the property was perfect for us - adults and kids alike. There is plenty of room, and the backyard/pool area was spacious and inviting. The location is also ideal. There is nothing not to like about this property.

Would not recommend!
We rented this house for our daughter’s college graduation in Phoenix, there were six in our party. The cleanliness, general upkeep and maintenance of this home are very poor. Home was extremely dirty, electrical outlets in ALL bathrooms non-operational (see the mirror in this picture, that's the only outlet/mirror option that works for a blow dryer, have fun drying your hair in the living room!), kitchen dishes and utensils all needed to be washed prior to use because they had food on them, showers/tubs were super MOLDY, water pressure in bathrooms very poor, dishwasher rack was broken, many light bulbs were missing so house was extremely dark, pool was very dirty. The towels looked like something you’d use as a rag, not a complete set of towels, (wash cloth, hand, bath) for everyone in our party. Additionally there were air freshener scents plugged in all over the house which produced a very strong chemical smell, made us wonder what they were trying to hide! I would not consider staying in this home again! btw. . . the management company promised to make this right by close of business on 12/20, still waiting!

Location, Location, Location!
This home has plenty of room to spread out (important with extended family and three children under 6)! The pool area is secured and off to the side, the back patio was a natural gathering spot for the adults not on "kid duty" :), and when it was the kids turn to play outside they loved racing around the grassy area. The kitchen is well-stocked and roomy, the beds are comfortable, and the upstairs master bedroom is a wonderful retreat! Our stay was even more than I expected because everything (shopping and food) was just minutes away. The summer rate made this an extraordinary bargain!!!
