Great location
Steep stairs

Location great, easily walkable into city centre. Though I managed to sprain ankle first day! I hobbled on.
Beds very comfortable. no shortage of hot water.
Steep stairs, following my ankle injury. but certainly all my fault.

Great part of town to stay near to restaurants and bars. Rural location meet some lovely locals who were so friendly. Shopping was great too. The neighbours kept themselves to themselves.
All good

It says it is a smart tv but couldn't connect it to the internet even tho i followed the instructions on the guest book. There was no milk or nothing to make a cup of tea, and the beds were a bit uncomfortable. Overall, it was an ok night, but could have been better.

Fairly close to centre, big enough for us 3, and good communication with owner. Great hearing that came on fast and kept us warm on a cold evening.
Really obvious and very unpleasant smell of cigarette smoke hits you as you enter, and is within all rooms. Lumpy, uncomfortable beds. Disappointingly grubby and tired throughout, definitely wouldn’t want to eat there, and for the money (£149 a night) the least I’d expect is it to have been properly clean. I clean holiday let’s for a living, and I would not have left a place as grubby or smelly as that. The whole place needs a thorough deep clean including washing everything to remove smoke smell. Couldn’t recommend.

Beautiful, quiet location. Loved the under floor heating. Owner was very accommodating when he realised that we had been double booked. We were offered a different location, which was wonderful.

Richard and his wife went above and beyond during our stay. Our hosts had to change our accommodation last minute so helped us to get into the city to sons wedding. Also sorted out charging our car overnight and even offered to let the dog out whilst we were at the wedding . Very friendly and accommodating. Thankyou.
Beds were extremely comfortable and the the place was so warm and cosy.
Had everything to make hot drinks and a choice of morning cereals and biscuits provided, aswell as lovely handwash and shower gel in showers.
There were also games, books and DVDs for use in the general living area.

Thanks for biscuits.
Very clean.
Handy to have parking place.
Good communication with owner
Parking place difficult to access.
Black grout in bath area put grandsons off using the bath.
Bath tap a bit of an issue. Loose and difficult to use.

Good access to town. It was roomy , comfortable and very clean.
Car parking was ok for a small car but for a large car it may be tight. The stairs are narrow and have a turn at the bottom. Maybe a problem for someone with mobility problems

Clean with everything we needed

The location is perfect for exploring Norwich on foot.
For the four of us with two dogs, the accommodation was perfect! Really uncompromising and Richard made our stay that much better by not even being able to vacuum or sweep, and shouldn't!
If you want to have a quiet holiday it is not so easy, as the house is very close to one of the main roads to Norwich and it is therefore very noisy.
But that is not a "mistake" of the accommodation! We are very sensitive to noise because we live in the middle of nowhere.

Self catering good location
One of the single beds was uncomfortable.

The hosts were most accomodating. We needed to check-in later and they were really helpful in enabling our stay. Thank you!

The house was clean throughout, the host left tea milk and biscuits for us. The parking was right outside the house and a bus stop is less than 1 minute away, less than 10 min bus ride into the shopping area.
The photos are a bit misleading. The walls are now lime green and the settee is low backed.

Brilliant location, very comfortable beds, good shower - everything you need! I’m sure we’ll be back.
I’d say the kitchen is quite basic which is perfectly reasonable given how affordable this place is! Could do with a spatula and an updated toaster.

Location
We left early because it was dirty, unclean , food particles left in microwave. Pillows were soiled
Mirrors dusty, I could go on. Back door didnt shut properly so after opening once we didnt use it or garden.
Smelt like a smoker lived there

Location - clean bedding
The house was very poor condition, very old decor, mould all around bath and sink, house smells of damp. Ceilings with cracks and water stains, windows and doors very old and not secure within today's standards. To justify the cost for the weekend the house could do with a refurb. It looked and felt like emergency accommodation, house looked neglected.
