Ideally located close to Arezzo. The receptionist was very kind and accommodating, and the personel was kind and friendly. The room was okay. The dinner served at the hotel was good, and a lovely options. The breakfast had many options, and were good. The surrounding area seemed intersting and if the weather had been better (and the grass and wilderness had been cut) we would probably have explored a bit more.
Our room was a bit small, and we had a room with view, which was to a tree and some grass, so that was not very impressive. The toilets flush did not work very well, and the fridge did not work at all (and apperently not in any other rooms either we were told). The grass and wilderness could have been cut a bit more as to encourage exploring there lovely surroundings, which they really present well in the pictures from the hotel (no pictures of any rooms).

Beautiful place very close to Arezzo. Easy to reach.
Beautiful view via window.
Nice host and all the people making service.
Big rooms and comfortable beds.
Breakfast "a la carte" in typical Italian style.
Good restaurant inside.
I'd recommend.

Pleasant welcome from front desk. Room although small had a balcony and a nice view and was clean.
Very noisy with a stone staircase and lift directly in front of the room and above open dining rooms. Small outside area. Bed uncomfortable. Shabby and not so chic. Looks better on photos.

Gute Lage
Unfortunately, we were only disappointed here. After booking and paying for a Superior room, we were called and told that this room was no longer available, only a Classico. We agreed as we had already paid for the room and needed something urgently.
When we entered the room, it turned out to be a 3-bed room on the top floor,
directly under the roof, without any view. We had also booked a table
in the restaurant. When we arrived for dinner, the first thing we were told was what was not available.
The menus that are on the table with the selection of wines,
is not valid in the evening. We were only told this when we went to order. When I
then wanted to order a Chianti from the wine list with dinner, we were also told that it was no longer available. When paying for the etxras, it was not possible to get a detailed bill. Conclusion: Everything is promised here and in the end nothing is kept. Unfortunately, we have to say that we just felt screwed here.. This is a great
pity, because the location would have been very attractive. For us the first
and last time here. We cannot give a recommendation.

Extremely willing and able staff, especially Katerina who made our stay very worthwhile. Off the beaten track but convenient enough for us with a car.
You have to rely on a car as public transport to Arezzo not too good.

casa volpi is a great stay for those road-tripping in Tuscany. It is a very comfortable, family-run location. There’s also a good restaurant, so you can choose to dine in at the Hotel, which is very convenient.
large, clean, comfortable rooms, good wifi, elevator, beautiful view of Arezzo, good breakfast

Beautiful rustic villa set in lovely grounds close to Arezzo. Really helpful staff, especially the young lady who spoke good English. Enjoyed our meal in their restaurant on the terrace too.
Previous reviews stated "quiet" and "tranquil", however this was not our experience because of 2 noisy weekend parties on the terrace with music and shouting until 1.00am. I would consider staying here again, but I would definitely want a guarantee of no party music after 11.00pm from the owner.

The villa is unbelievable beautiful! Even if it was quite „empty“ with only a few guests, our stay was perfect! The owner and we think his family are super friendly. They gave their very best to let us enjoy our vacation! The restaurant is amazing and many vegetarian dishes are served. The local food and wines are fantastic!
Due to the few guests our room has not been cleaned, but it was absolutely fine, because we only stayed 3 nights. The bikes had already been rented by other guests so we had to find another company. In Arezzo you can easily book/ rent city bikes so in the end it was no big deal. The charme of the Villa and the lovely people working there made everything wonderful!

Owner really did his best to make us comfortable. Everything at breakfast was available at request.
Toilet paper was missing when we arrived, had to ask for it. Not so clean bathroom, spiderweb on the window. Dead plants at entrance. Hotel seems to need an update.

Shower a bit basic

Room in a poor condition with a lot of dust, dirty floor and broken shower - not 3 stars standard
