Didn’t have breakfast. Visited prior restaurant. Maid very willing and responsive. Problems addressed immediately concerning room’s physical needs. Breakfast being included.
Room lighting. Beautiful new shades measured incorrectly. Morning light came in around shade and woke us in our face. Cushions on deck chairs. We were glad that so many items were addressed and improved. Two more years to build physical plant. Staff friendness

Breakfast was very good as was dinner. Weight staff could have been more attentive. decor in the resort was very tasteful, the rooms were beautiful. Beautiful location on the cove, great spot for morning coffee or an evening cocktail watching the sunset.
The resort was a little further out of town than I thought., but was an easy drive. The room was very very dark even with all the lights on. There was an extremely large gap under our door, which allowed bugs in, we just blocked it with a towel pour hot water.

did not eat breakfast there- coffee was good
The shower water never got hot enough to enjoy a hot shower- my only complaint

The Breakfast was Poor
The painting could been finished off and the bathroom door replaced

Location is great. Food was good and prices were reasonable. Waitstaff was exceptional. Bed and linens were great as was microwave and refrigerator. Large family next door said the pool was really good.
Towels were plentiful and more were happily supplied by the good housekeeping staff.
What we didn't like was all the rest, and my wife and I recognized the property was a work in progress. But the price for a room with a black (Dark blue?) ceiling, 3 small wall lights and no overhead lighting is a non-starter even for a work in progress. Repairs, even as we first entered the room, were amateur, not complete and not painted. No closet, closet rod, hangers, iron, ironing board, etc. Only Ice machine was 150 yards away in another building. The real failure was our room in the middle of and entire multi-family vacation. They occupied four rooms on either side of our room with kids and teens. Common sense in Hospitality says in those situations, Reservations sees that probable issue and makes the adjustment to another room away from the chaos. Our own request to move went unheeded.

Awesome location, the leisure chairs near the ocean, the ambience , sea facing room
The door & door lock was very sketchy & very difficult to operate. The check out experience was not smooth as there was a new person in the counter & he was not ready to understand that booking.com already pre-paid the stay , he was asking repeatedly to pay with my credit card again.

In the dining room two great employees.
The waitress Roxie and the Bartender Donavan.
They really keep and kept the Bar and Restaurant moving. 👏

Location is outstanding. Love the chairs along the edge of the water.
Nowhere on the website did it indicate that there would be no daily housekeeping. We couldn’t even get the wastebaskets emptied after requesting it. For $1800, guests shouldn’t have to fetch their own clean towels and toilet paper, or empty their own trash. Website also said free buffet breakfast, but it was $16/person.

The location was supreme! Beautiful views and plenty of chairs to enjoy it outside.

The bathroom needs to be updated. It was clean but decor outdated.

This is a magical place. It is quintessential Maine! The serenity and scenery are just so wonderful. We had stayed here 27 years ago and finally made it back for a quick Labor Day vacation. We stayed in the Farmhouse B. Room was clean and pleasant. We spent a lot of time just relaxing and taking in the view from the porch. The sunsets here are spectacular!
Nothing! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Very nice location. The room was clean for its age.
The bathroom was small to the point of nearly unusable, camper-like. I suppose this is to be expected of such an old structure.
The bed was so uncomfortable. Far from level and unsupportive.

our room was very small and smelled musty. There was no hot tub although the property was listed as having one

Horrible mattress, the deck in front of our room needs attention, seemed rickety

The location was exceptional. The Staff was very friendly and as helpful as they can be under the circumstances. Didn't try breakfast. Dinner was good and our server Meaghan was very friendly and helpful. The Lobster Bisque was truly excellent. Donavan, the bartender plus whatever else he does, is a character and was very helpful as well, not to mention he makes a great drink.
The room was not what we expected based on what was advertised on Booking.com, so our first impression was pretty disappointing. It was called a "double room" that had an ocean view and a balcony. It sure sounded like we were getting two queen beds and... a balcony overlooking the water. What we got was a single queen first-floor back corner room with a side porch right by the driveway and stairway. Could you see the water? Sure, but it was certainly not what we expected based on the description. The young lady behind the desk really could not provide an explanation, and it was the only room available, so we kept it.

very dated!

The location is unbeatable and the bartender Donovan was amazing! He truly saved our night when we called the night number. We probably could have stayed on the Adirondack chairs all day.
The front desk staff was atrocious and incredibly rude. I understand that they were short staffed but the woman at the front desk was incredibly rude over the phone and to my husband at the front desk. The room was almost hilariously dated and the carpets looked filthy. The bed was a spring mattress that we could feel every spring in. Luckily we only spent a night there.
