L'accueil fut chaleureux avec des propositions de ballade et de sortie. Le mini lodge est absolument parfait, alliant simplicité et confort dans quelques mètres carrés seulement. L'endroit est magique !
Rien !

Beautiful place, very cozy and charming

Absolutely everything! I cannot fault this place at all. It’s such a beautiful place with lovely hosts.
Nothing. Everything perfect. Thank you to Rach for helping with the car and road issues in the morning (road like an ice rink due to weather, both her and Mark were out putting salt down to make things easier for us departing and ensuring we had a safe departure).

Everything was perfect. Exceptional host, beautiful location.

Amazing B&B!! We were blown away. Beautiful fittings, decor, fantastic view and location. Felt very luxurious and we loved it. Also seemed especially good for the price.
The shower temperature and pressure were difficult to control -- a weird fiddly system -- which was odd because the other taps were fine. But we got used to it.

The home was spectacular, and perched upon a mountain top - the view - stunning. Our room was spacious, a soaker tub which I took advantage of. The bed was comfortable and towels fluffy.
We didn't meet the host - We were instructed that our key would be left at the front door, which was fine, but I guess I thought we'd have an opportunity to meet our host(s); when staying at a B&B it's nice to connect with the hosts to hear the history of the home, and the area etc. It was just a little odd.

Quaint little hut comfortable, just what we needed

It was a perfect getaway! The room was much bigger than what we had expected. The lodge is very beautiful and cozy. We wished stayed longer.
Everything was perfect!

The beautiful woodland location just a short drive to the town, the very comfortable room that somehow felt both like a luxurious hotel room AND a homely bedroom at the same time, the excellent breakfast pack (what a great idea to minimise waste) and the spacious bathroom. The birds in the feeding station outside our window. The pine marten I spotted in the garden!
Really scraping the barrel here - not a criticism just a suggestion - the pendant light in bathroom is very low. My tall husband had a couple of near misses. Maybe it could be hoisted up a wee bit?

The hut is truly luxurious and very cosy, with super fluffy towels and soft bed sheets. All electric appliances work fine. We liked the bear theme in all the little details and also enjoyed the small breakfast provided.
We would have liked to meet the hosts, even though the little key hut was easy to find and all instructions were clear. We would not recommend the 40min walk that is proposed in the manual in the hut - it was almost untraceable and fully grown over (not used very often?).

Quiet, lovely house and setting. Stunning Views and Wildlife. Near to Loch Ness. Very Clean and Comfy bed!
Shower was hard to control temp and not very powerful.

The lodge was cozy out of the way but not too far from loch ness. Great for seeing red squirells and being right by nature a true little hidden gem

The Highland Bear is fabulous. The outside of the Lodge, the grounds and the view are superb. Our room, "The Bonny Prince Charles" room was big, with a 4 poster bed. The bathroom was large with a bath. The bed was very comfortable as was the pillows and robes are always a bonus. The lounge and dining areas in the lodge are full of wonderful furnishings and authentic furniture and artifacts. We had the option of a spa with this room for a small extra fee, and took it. The views from the spa are lovely. The host left chocolates for our anniversary which was a very kind gesture. The surrounding countryside is interesting and varied, driving along the Lochs is a great experience.I would not hesitate to recommend this accomodation.
Only a small issue and that is the amount of chlorine in the spa pool but I totally understand that that is for hygiene reasons.

This hotel was beautiful
Only downfall they do not have a restaurant and the hot tub under our window was not on for us to use.

What didn't we like! It was an absolutely beautiful place to stay. We upgraded from the hut to the Prince Charlie room last minute. The owners were so helpful and communication was amazing. The grounds are gorgeous. The house itself is amazing. The room was a gorgeous period affair. Lovely and big and just perfect. Highlights were sitting by the fire with a wine and snacks. Hot tub under the stars. The buffet breakfast was fab too. Just an all round fabulous find.
Nothing at all.

It was MAGICAL!! Sooo beautiful and cozy that I wished we had more time to extend our stay. The weather was perfect, the frost and the sound of nature was aesthetically pleasing. I can’t believe that I encountered a dear while walking from my hut towards the lodge! it was truly a beautiful experience. The land owner is super sweet as well and very helpful. 100% recommended.
The only thing you need to prepare yourself for is that the village is a 10 min drive away. Breakfast is included, but for lunch and dinner, time ahead to drive and dine or takeaway.

Fantastic location with incredible views from the lodge! We loved the easy check-in and the rooms had everything we needed (with a great range of breakfast options left for us).
The common spaces are beautiful with such cool interesting decor. We loved spending the evenings by the fire (when we weren't watching shooting-stars from the patio).
Very welcoming, friendly hosts who also give you space and privacy during your stay.
Such a great spot for exploring Drumnadrochit and Glen Affric. We hope to be back!
Nothing.

Everything was fantastic

The quietness and the quirky livingroom.
Views are stunning!
Little too far out if needing to go to restaurant, tok far to walk! However we brought back food to our room as plenty of crockery etc in the room to use!
4.5
The location and the hospitality. Interiors were also amazing along with the decor.
Nothing that I can think of. But yes an open channel of communication for the guests with the host will be more helpful.

well presented and clean
Having gone through booking.com, the price and it being called a lodge we had anticipated more of a hotel like experience. as a b&b this is excellent but slightly overpriced. As previous reviews have said nobody to welcome you in and nice communal area but empty and fires not lit until after our stay in September.
